Very good, messy at first, but once you find a way around it,it’s easier.
Teeth and gums feel very clean and the water cleans well between teeth and crowns.
Various speeds to use and plenty of attachments.
Works well with various different speed settings and modes. Good size reservoir for the water, and the battery lasts a long time between charges.
My wife and I both use this, and think it’s great.
Fairly small compared to others, so good for travelling etc
Never used one before so wasn’t sure what to expect. Well the truth is it left me bleeding traumatized, it’s similar to what it must feel like to be waterboarded. If you have any molars missing god help ya as you’ll get a violent jet of water straight down ya throat. I had to sit on the toilet for 10 minutes afterwards just to compose myself.
This said, my teeth felt very clean afterwards
I’ve been using it for 3 months and can say it’s definitely worth it and should have bought one years ago.
It comes with a selection of head types but I’ve stuck with the one. Charge seems to last for ages (probably a month/six weeks?).
Takes a little getting used to to avoid spraying the bathroom but is easy enough after a little practice.
I had a small issue where I lost the water reservoir plug down my sink. I contacted the seller in the hope of a replacement plug and they sent me a whole new flosser with no quibble, that was worth 5 stars alone.
Would definitely recommend.
It is rather bulky and it’s easy to switch on before it’s in your mouth. It’s nicely packaged and seems well made. Not quite as good as the old WaterPik but effective enough
Works well for me, had no problems.
This has improved my dental hygiene 100% even the dentist has commented on how clean my teeth are. Even after brushing, when I use this I can still see lodged food rinse away! My mouth feel so much fresher.
Use with luke warm water, can take a few goes to get used to.
Can be a little messy, hanging over the sink to let the water run out you mouth or accidentally hitting the on button and washing the walls, mirror ect lol
Comes with lots of different attachments.
Easy to charge and doesn’t take too long.
Comfortable to hold.
The nozzle can rotate 360 making it easier to angle for your back teeth.
A few settings to suit. It can feel a little overpowering and weird at first.
The tank can empty quick and feel a bit of a pain to keep re-filling but once you get in to a routine with it you’ll find this can reduce, also depends on what you’ve been eating.
Overall a great little device that I would highly recommend
Just started using this a week ago and I absolutely love it. Takes a go or two to get the gist of turning it off and on as you move between teeth etc but once you have the knack then it’s great.
I’ve ditched my interdental brushes and floss and this, used with some warm water and mouthwash leaves the mouth feeling super clean and fresh. Price is currently fab too with the offer. Highly recommend 🙂
Water Flossers have become an essential part of my oral care routine, delivering excellent results with ease of use. I’ve noticed significant improvements in my gum health since incorporating them into my daily regimen. Additionally, the long-lasting charge ensures uninterrupted usage, which is a definite plus. Admittedly, it took me a little while to get used, but the benefits far outweigh any initial discomfort. Personally, I find using lukewarm water more comfortable than cold water. Overall, Water Flossers are a fantastic investment for anyone looking to maintain optimal oral hygiene effortlessly.
First time I used it, it made my gums bleed quite a lot. I have some gum issues due to diabetes and am having to up my game a bit. Use the soft setting and some tepid water and you won’t make the mistake I did.
I have been contemplating water flossers for a while and finally took the leap on this Nicwell brand. I am glad I did. This has been a great addition to my dental care routine. The amount of debris even tiny ones that it removes is amazing. Just shows that brushing alone doesn’t do the job properly. It takes a bit of getting used to but once you get the hang of it, it’s easy to use. I use it everyday and I have travelled with it a number of times. The battery holds well, the design easily fits into your hand. Different modes come in handy especially for gums that are sensitive such as mine. After buying this, I will forever be using a water flosser. They make such a big difference and your teeth feels and looks cleaner.
I’m amazed by how much more is removed from your mouth using this then teepees or flossing alone and for that it’s brilliant. It’s very easy to accidentally press the button and a couple of times I’ve managed to shoot myself in the face by mistake. The true review will come from when I’ve seen my hygienist next. 🙂
Super easy to use, just follow the instructions. It looks great and it is super powerful, my teeth have never felt so clean! It shouldn’t make your gums bleed if you use it right, I’ve had no issues.
I let my dad use it, as he sometimes gets stuff stuck in his teeth and he loved it so bought himself one (hes usually reluctant to buy things).
Was abit worried it may not be good as it was cheap but its perfect and excellent value for money did the same job as an oral b water flosser which is five times more expensive as for how long it will last time will tell but im very happy with it for now
After being recommended by my dentist to use a water flosser, I wanted a product that was good value for money and adequate for the job. I charge my water flosser probably only one per month and use it twice daily. It’s easy to use and clean and doesn’t get grimey like previous water flossers I’ve had.
I love this product. It is lightweight which is great, the water holder isn’t huge but definitely enough to first rinse between your teeth then again after brushing. The speed settings are great and easy to use. The jet is powerful and would recommend starting on the ‘soft’ setting. I have had the product 3 weeks now and have never yet had to charge the battery. I would highly recommend 10/10
SO POSITIVES = does a good job , last a while on the charge , water jet strength is good
negatives = u need to fill twice and do front and back to really get rid of plaque , I think using floss is going to get rid of more , but for any one like me who cant be bothered to floss , this is good alternative
After between 4 or 5 months it will not work. This is the first product from Amazon that has not seen out it’s guarantee.I have been a Prime Member for many years. The good news is that this company has honoured their
Guarantee and refunded the money plus some from Amazon as a goodwill gesture. So I have amended this review to four stars.
Never used one before, hygienist recommended I use one..I think I’m getting the hang of it, mouth/teeth certainly feel cleanerI’m sure the hygienist will tell me next time I see her!..
This isn’t the easiest thing to use initially, it feels a bit weird and its easy to end up squirting water round the bathroom or ,worse still, into your eye.
However I’ve got the hang of it now and the crud it removes from round your teeth is amazing. I also find to takes virtually no time at all, its easy to clean your teeth really well in no time at all and its a lot more fun (if that’s the right word!) than the dreaded flossing.
Also I’ve only charged it once and its still working a month later.
It has to have a water chamber to its bigger than an electric toothbrush to I don’t think I’ll take it away much but for home use its brilliant
If only I had this when I was a teenager I would have had perfect teeth !
Did the a good job of making my gums feel great. I haven’t visited a dentist for about 8 years as I’v had bad experience from them. This made my gums feel good but is not as good as flossing for in-between the teeth and thaught it was slightly underpowered.
This water flosser is brilliant, it comes with several tip attachments which are used for cleaning between your teeth. There are two special tips, one for cleaning your your tongue and another for cleaning braces.
There are different power settings which adjust the speed of the water jet. There’s normal which I would say is perfect for most people. There’s a soft setting for people with sensitive teeth and gums. There’s a pulse setting which massages the gums and these a custom setting which allows you to select one of 8 speed settings.
I found it takes a bit of practice getting used to the water jet flossing between your teeth. I will say that it is surprising how much food debris is hiding between your teeth. It’s also reassuring that the water flosser helps to remove the debris.
Combined with brushing, I think the water flosser is a worthy addition to your dental hygiene routine.
The flosser is rechargeable via USB cable which makes it ideal for travelling. I’ve found a charge lasts around 10-14 days before I need to recharge it.
I think this is a great product. I really recommend water flossing. I have noticed a difference in my oral health and it was nice to get feedback from my dentist about it too.
This Nicwell seems well made out of decent materials. If you’ve not used one before it’s obviously bigger in the hand than an electric toothbrush because of the water tank but that’s not really an issue. I find two tankfulls of water, preferably warm, is ample and it takes seconds to refill; the rubber cap to the filler hole is, neccessarily, tight fitting and needs a sturdy pull to remove it. I use it once a day almost every day and the battery life has been really surprising – each charge has lasted about two months. I’m sure this will lessen as time goes by but I’m very pleased with it at the moment.
Getting used to water flossing takes a few days but it quickly becomes second nature. This one has four settings and I started with the lowest and moved sequentially up to the pulse setting, which I find the most useful. I’ve learned to keep the jet from direct contact with my tongue, a most unpleasant sensation, and I avoid using very cold water, which I find irritates my fillings. It was a revelation at first to discover just how much debris can be left behind by the toothbrush and the flosser manages to remove some very tiny particles as well as larger ones.
There doesn’t seem to be any problem with children using it. My seven-year-old granddaughter spotted the new arrival on the bathroom shelf on her next visit and having watched me use it naturally wanted a go herself. Using a spare head and the lowest setting she very quickly got used to flossing, albeit with a few ‘accidents’ where much of the bathroom received an unwanted spraying! She loves the experience and flosses every time she comes to stay, which can’t be a bad thing.
All reviews by their nature are subjective but from my point of view this is an excellent little machine and well worth the money. Originally I was thinking that if I found I liked water flossing I’d consider buying a more expensive model when the time came but having had this now for nearly five months I can see no point in spending more on a brand name or fancy trimmings when this one does the job perfectly. Unless something dramatic happens in the meantime, I’ll simply buy another of these when this one gives up the ghost. Without reservation, I can throughly recommended this product.
I was dubious because it is such a low price compared to some water flossers but I decided to take the plunge with this one.
So glad I did!
I floss regularly with expanding floss string and thought that was enough but at the moment I am in between dentist appointments with a root canal.
The temp filling is breaking away. It’s the weekend, so no contact with my dentist until Monday to patch up the broken filling. In a desperate bid to avoid infection I’ve been flossing like crazy to remove anything trapped in the hole but brushing, flossing & mouthwash isn’t quite getting in the gap.
A friend recommended a water flosser so I decided to give this a go.
So glad I did!
Not only is it cleaning the hole in the missing filling it is also doing an amazing job at reaching under the bottom edge of a crown I had fitted years ago and it reaches perfectly around my back molars that are really difficult and painful to get the toothbrush around.
I used this gadget after flossing just to see the difference and it blew me away (and left me a bit mortified at what was left between my teeth and under my crown even after the usual thorough mouth maintenance!).
I can’t comment on battery life yet as it’s still hours old.
It is quite big to handle but quick to get used to.
I started on the soft setting, that seems more than good enough to do the job thoroughly. I think a stronger jet of water might be a touch painful when it’s a new experience.
All the nozzles are really useful including the tongue scraper.
I’d definitely recommend using slightly warm water instead of cold water- I know my teeth are far too sensitive for a cold shot.
Bottom line- this is the best purchase I have made and if I could only take one thing with me to a desert island this would be it (I just hope it’d have a usb charger haha)
