They’re not soft but they do not really need to be as long as you follow the instructions they are so easy to use. my boyfriend used to have a real problem with keeping his glasses clean now he can take these anywhere with him and never have a problem.
Got this on a deal so it was fantastic value, I wouldn’t have paid full price for them. They work brilliantly well on our glasses but the main reason I bought them was for a second-hand camera lens I have just ordered.
These wipes were originally supplied through my optician for my zeiss lens’ which were substantial in thickness and moisture content. When they ran out I bought these. Much better than budget brand that feel like course paper and liable to scratch but for me these appear not to be as good as the ones supplied by optitians? However they still do the job.
Very convenient to have a few of these stashed in my bag or my desk at work. They work well leaving the lenses spear free and spotless – there is a real clarity after using them that isn’t there when just using a cloth (except for specialised lens cloths). They also don’t damage the lenses of my glasses or binoculars- micro fibre cloths are very slightly abrasive and have taken off the coatings of my lenses after a year or so of use in the past. Once my glasses are clean, they are still good to clean my phone.
I normally buy them fill price but have just ordered 2 more packs on a Black Friday deal.
We used to use these Zeiss wipes where I worked for cleaning screens and mobile phones. They even work quite well cleaning the ‘landline’ handset. Always a good idea.
This pack should contain 200 wipes but no I have not counted them. It looks like the right amount though. I have already used one for my glasses and then my monitor and laptop screens. One wipe can be used for several jobs but if it involves glasses or binoculars I would do that part first.
I always liked the Zeiss wipes at work, which is why I brought these. I was very happy to get a good deal on this welcome old friend. Definitely something to recommend. Although other wipes are available.
I have a love-hate relationship with these. I hate one-use disposable products. I love how well they clean. I bought these for air travel – my usual cleaning spray comes in a bottle that’s slightly too big for air travel rules, so I needed an alternative when away on business. These fit the bill, they do a great job and take up little space in your luggage.
I’m a professional commercial photographer and I’ve always got a box of these on the shelf – never a problem with them and excellent for a quick wipe over of lenses and filters.
These wipes are just what I needed. I bring 2 to work with me because my glasses get dirty at work everyday. Very handy put in back pocket and brilliant for cleaning glasses and mobile phone also.
Bought these after a cheaper brand ran out and they are much better. The packaging was great, a decent little box with cellophane wrapper as opposed to being loose in a brown envelope like the other brand. These are a little smaller than I’ve used before, but every one I’ve used is actually moist whereas some of the cheaper ones were dry and useless even though sachet was intact. They don’t smell and they clean lenses well dry quickly and are streak free.
They are larger than the cheap ones, feel much, much, softer and don’t seem be soaked in alcohol. It seems to me that I don’t ned to by as aggressive when cleaning, just gentle rubs clean the lens.
And they are Zeiss, They spent decades building their brand as one of quality and precision engineering.

Cleans glasses mostly well, I would recommend giving your glasses a quick blow first to clear any bigger bits of dirt off as the wipes can spread these.
Occasional wipes can be a bit dry/need a second wipe for cleaning, not often.
Easy to take out as they don’t take up much room individually, packaged in pairs with a serrated edge in the middle to tear away easily.
Used on glasses with Specsavers UltraClear SuperClean finish with good results.
