I bought this to protect my bicycle shed which is at the back of the car space. It’s easy to fit and reasonably priced. The default setting for sensitivity is high but you can lower it, the first heavy rain storm set it off and if our gate slams shut it reacts, that’s not to bad because it gives you a warning, so long as you don’t annoy it within 12 seconds. All in all, it’s pretty good.
if it was possible to give more than 5 stars I would have, this alarm already proved its efficiency. Someone wanted to have a ride with my bike when I wasn’t there and this alarm not just kept him away but scared him as is very loud. After I lost a bike which was locked in front of my house I think this device and a proper lock will keep the burglars away.
can be installed in 3 ways: tied with the straps, sticked with the double sided sticker or mounted with the brackets, all three are easy but in my opinion mounted with the brackets is the most secure option. After the alarm is installed and secured with the back screw is a bit inconvenient to take it of to recharged it, so I foud easier to use a power bank instead.
te alarm seems to be very sturdy and waterproof as I keep the bike outside at work. The alarm also has orher features too, if can’t remember where the bike was left, no problems, just need to press vehicle search button on the remote control and a quite loud sound can be heard. The remote control has a good cover range, I’m able to activate the alarm even from inside and more than 30m outside.
Recommend it. Does a great job.
Got this for my son, This unit is loud for it’s size and works great. my son has been using it when he goes to the shops. may not stop people stealing his bike but may just deter them.
