All I can say is for the price is a great product to bring an older car into the century! It works flawlessly and makes parking, navigation etc so much easier.

Installation was super easy and it comes with clear and precise instructions.

    Very happy indeed

This seriously upgrades an older car. Connecting my phone for maps, music, and voice commands is a breeze. The dashcam is a nice safety feature, and I can even stream videos when parked. Just a heads-up: It doesn’t support Netflix.

Love this apple car play. I have used it for a few weeks and it has been very good. The installation was simple and the instructions were clear. The screen looks really good and is easy to see, even in bright sunlight. The dash cam and the backup camera are clear and very helpful.

Overall, great product and I would recommend it for an affordable upgrade of an older stereo system to include dash cam, navigation and apple CarPlay.

This is a review for Aphqua New Wireless Carplay for Apple and Android, the model I had is A95.

    The package contains the followings:
    – Carplay main unit (9″ display) with 2.5k front camera
    – 64GB TF card
    – Suction mount
    – Stand Brack
    – 3.5mm audio cable
    – reversing camera
    – Car charger
    – Suction cup gasket
    – User Manual

My car is a bit old, the satnav is outdated, and I cannot share my phone screen with the screen on my car. I find it difficult to look at my little smartphone screen for updated Google Maps while driving. I prefer a larger screen with clearer display. This Aphqua carplay is a bit expensive (159.99 at the time of review) but I find it worth it after I installed it onto my car. The unit is well made in high quality and it feels very sturdy.

It takes me a very short time to install and get it connected. The connection supports Bluetooth, Android Auto, Apple Carplay, Android Cast, and Video Wifi which is pretty much what I need. There is a user manual that comes in the pack and I find the instructions very easy to follow. The cables are long enough for the setup of the rear camera. I tried on both an Apple phone and a Samsung phone and they work well. Both the Siri on iOS and Brixby on Samsung Android work well. The suction mount and stand brack both managed to keep the carplay in place which is what I need for secure driving. The resolution is 4K which gives me a very clear picture of what shows on screen.

I am happy with this device and would recommend it.

Paired quickly and easily to my Samsung/android phone. Screen is a good size and easily readable. Haven’t yet mastered the music side, as when I pair my phone to it the music comes out of the screen speakers, which are OK but obvs not as good as the car’s. The dash cam is a good touch, and the quality of footage appears very good. Overall, good value option to retro fit apple/android play to older cars.

Compact, essential a tablet for your car.
    Simple plug in and go.
    You have added:
    1. Control centre – for iOS or Android
    2. Entertainment – Music or video
    3. Navigation – GPS with camera as Dash cam
All on a vivid 9” screen.
Responsive touch screen or you can do handfree with voice commands accordingly.
Easy to take away when not in use or port to another vehicle.
Would be nice if there is a holder via the vent to get away from the windscreen.
    Reasonable at 160.

This product seems to be absolutely brilliant. According to my husband he installed it very simply and set it up in no time at all. He said it’s absolutely changed his driving experience and cannot recommend this product. Highly enough. The screen is very clear and crisp. The sounds are really good as well, no problem at all straightaway it does seem a little pricey but definitely worth it. He’s even talking about getting another one for his work car, we would happily recommend this product.

This adapter has transformed my driving experience! I love the convenience of wireless CarPlay and the seamless integration with my car’s system. Using maps, music, and messaging apps has never been easier or safer. The large screen makes it easy to use while driving, and the voice control is a great feature.

A great piece of kit for older cars that do not have an interactive screen. I have this fitted to my 2007 land-rover and works a treat.
Easy to install using the bracket provided and software is easy to follow. I have yet to install the rear camera as I need to remove carpet to hide wire but have it all up an running. Very pleased.

One of my daughters has a car which is slightly older, and doesn’t have the display screen that modern cars have, so I ordered this for her, and the added dash cam is a bonus.

It comes neatly boxed and has everything you need to attach the system to your car, including a suction mount, charging cables and a seperate rear camera. It even comes with a 64gb SD card.

It is easy to set up, and much easier to have maps on a 9 inch screen rather than on your mobile phone.

It is a great piece of kit, a little expensive but cheaper that buying a new car to upgrade your in-car system, so I would recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for older cars

This touchscreen can be used to provide CarPlay and Android Auto for cars which don’t have this facility. This is usually basic models of some newer cars or older vehicles.
It can be sat on your dashboard using the sticky mounting pad or suction cup with adjustable arm.
Siting the device is a little tricky, as it’s quite large and can block your field of view, especially if you are on the shorter side.
I have been able to attach it using the suction cup and adjustable arm in front of my cars existing radio. I have then used the forward facing camera raised up to its full height.
The forward camera provides a good dash-cam that records on an SD card. There is also a rear facing camera that can be used for parking. This provides a good view, but does need a little installation either passing the wire through the ceiling space or under the carpet in your car. This rear camera is an optional extra and can be installed at a later time.

The screen of the device is slightly slow in terms of sensitivity, but it’s large and easy to see. It pairs very quickly with my iPhone. Calls are easy to receive and maps easy to access. The map is large and clear and you can zoom in using the – and + keys. You cannot pinch the map to zoom in or out.

Overall this is a good item with a good sized screen, it works well as a dash-cam and rear view camera. It links quickly and easily via Bluetooth with your phone.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good clear screen, links quickly with your phone.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe wide screen is great for showing CarPlay and one of the cameras at the same time, a big CarPlay map, or a CarPlay map with your playing media.

Siri works well through this and the split audio output is a great feature (allowing you to use Bluetooth audio from your phone to the car stereo while still using CarPlay to this device).
The customer support was quick to respond when I wanted to change the startup logo, and they supplied detailed instructions of how to do it.
Both mounts seem sturdy and the windscreen mount has a black sucker (so it won’t turn a funny colour like the clear ones do).
The cable to the rear camera is long enough to route through the roof lining and is socketed at the camera end to make fishing the cable easier.
The camera quality is very good considering the price and resolution.
The screen is quite responsive with only occasional hesitations when moving between applications.
I’ve only tested it with iPhone and Siri.

There are a couple of things I don’t like though, and that’s the shiny chrome around the front facing camera as it reflects into the windscreen day and night, and the stick on dashboard mount is quite bulky and didn’t really suit the shape of my dashboard (although I did manage to get it to fit enough that it was stable).
All in all it’s a good way of having a modern interface for navigation and media.

We installed this into my friends aging Transit van and he is over the moon with it. It was very quick to set up and now he has Android Auto he can stream his music and navigate more effectively with google maps, no more squinting at his smartphone . We went for the dash mount option as this is more stable and as van dashboards are higher this is a good height for the inbuilt dashcam too which is a massive plus for this device especially with the 64GB Micro SD card included in the bundle. The screen is bright and clear and visible on the sunniest days. The screen mirror option works well too and he can enable this to keep an eye on notifications when out and about. It’s important to know what is for dinner after a long day on the road. A great bit of kit though slightly pricey (currently 155 with 15 with voucher) when there are similar on the market for a few pounds less.

This system exceeded my expectation, it is a bit pricey but it is packed with fantastic features.

Firstly, this works seamless with Apple, connecting with ease and working well as an entertainment systems being to listen to music, take calls use maps etc. It has a great user interface which was easy to use and the touchscreen was responsive.

Big fan of the Dash cam which is a fantastic feature to have, really impressed with it but i would personally go for larger storage. Rear camera seems to work well as well i just need to install it properly.

Quality is great as well. Overall i found it to be a great system definitely a must have if you car doesn’t have one, or if you need something a bit more new.

Hope you found my review helpful.

I recently upgraded my car stereo capabilities using this device, and I must say, it’s great! It’s a huge step up from the old stereo in my Mercedes B Class. Installation was easy — just plug it into the cigarette lighter, and voila! The device boasts a spacious 9-inch display that seamlessly connects to my iPhone via Bluetooth, showcasing Apple CarPlay in real-time.

Mounting options are versatile; I chose to place it on my windshield, but it can easily adapt to the dashboard for optimal viewing. Despite its large size, it doesn’t obstruct and I still have a good view.

For sound, I have multiple options: Bluetooth, FM, or aux. Since my car lacks Bluetooth music streaming and an aux port, I opted for FM. The sound quality isn’t perfect, but it’s passable, and I’m planning to experiment with different frequencies to improve it. Nonetheless, it allows me to enjoy music and navigation from my streaming apps through my car speakers, along with handling calls seamlessly.

While the touchscreen isn’t as responsive as I hoped, it still gets the job done with a bit of extra effort when swiping. The screen itself is crystal clear with high resolution. Wireless Apple CarPlay functions flawlessly, catering to all my needs, from music playback to navigation and beyond. The added bonus of mirror link lets me mirror my iPhone screen effortlessly.

The built-in dash cam is a standout feature, recording my journeys with impressive clarity. With loop recording support and an included memory card, managing recordings is a breeze. The front camera’s adjustability adds to its versatility.

Voice control via Siri is another highlight, offering hands-free convenience for calls, music, directions, and more. Overall, it’s a fantastic plug-and-play device that injects new life into older cars without any complicated modifications. There are lots of features to take advantage off.

This new wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto system with a 2.5K dash cam is a game-changer for anyone looking to upgrade their in-car entertainment and safety features. The portable 9″ HD IPS big screen offers crystal-clear visuals and makes navigating through apps and maps a breeze. The inclusion of GPS navigation ensures I never get lost on the road again. Bluetooth connectivity allows for seamless integration with my smartphone, while AirPlay and MirrorCast expand the range of devices I can connect to.

The wireless functionality of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto adds a level of convenience I didn’t know I needed. No more tangled cords or having to plug in my phone every time I get in the car. Plus, the dash cam provides peace of mind with its high-quality video recording capabilities, ensuring I have evidence in case of any unforeseen incidents on the road.

While the system delivers on its promises of functionality and convenience, there are a few minor drawbacks. Occasionally, there are slight delays in response time when navigating through menus, and the setup process can be a bit cumbersome for those less tech-savvy. However, once everything is up and running, the benefits far outweigh these minor inconveniences. Overall, I highly recommend this system for anyone looking to modernize their car’s technology and enhance their driving experience.
