This is a good aftermarket charging lead it’s a bit of a tight fit so be careful when pulling the lead out otherwise it’s ok. Came well packaged & on time
I ordered this after wanting to play my Nintendo DS (the original model – not lite) after many years – I’m glad to have found this cable which is fully compatible and successfully charges my DS.
The cable plugs into the DS at one end and is a USB connection at the other – both ends fit into their respective ports securely and flush with no wobbling.
The charger seems durable, well made and is a robust thick cable. I like that the cable is long as well which is super convenient.
In summary: This charger does what it says on the tin and it does it well; now I’m off to play some nostalgic games – cheers!

This is a great little piece of kit if you own an older Gameboy like Advance or SP, the cool retro handhelds and since they are so old you probably lost the original cable so it’s nice to be able to get a replacement and relive all your old faves again like Pokmon and Duke Nukem Advance It has plenty of length so you can play while charging and at 3.99, it’s a total bargain 5/5 can’t complain at all.
I love this cable quite a lot, largely due to the length. I still play on my Gameboy Advance SP quite a lot in 2023 (I blame the 3rd generation of Pokmon for that one!) and having a cable that can easily be connected to the same power adapter I charge my phone from makes everything just a bit more convenient.
The cable is just over a meter long and it feels very well made. It charges my GBA SP sufficiently and it’s quite affordable. This cable was cheaper (and longer) than similar cables I’ve used previously.
Overall, it works exactly how you would expect, it is long, and it is very affordable.
