This literally just plugs into your USB and Aux/3.5mm jack in your car to give you wireless bluetooth connectivity when you set your stereo to Aux. Easy to pair with your phone and the sound quality is fine. Overall very happy with it and stops you having to go out and buy a new car stereo just to get wireless .

I really like how small and simple it is to use and add bluetooth. It is very simple to just plug and use. I am able to connect to the bluetooth device easily and it can be found every time. When the sound is going it sounds great. The only problem I have is that there is background static and noise that can be heard when no sound is streaming through it. If I turn off my speaker, its ok. But if I leave my speaker on and just stop streaming, static and a hiss can be heard.

The best thing about this aux Bluetooth and mic is that it is so small and compact. Because it is literally one wire, it is not very noticeable and it reduces clutter. The Bluetooth connection happened very quickly. No problems at all with the connection. The volume can be controlled by both the stereo and by your volume button on your phone/device. So if it isn’t loud enough in the car, check the phone volume.
I tested this next to another aux Bluetooth & mic of a different brand, but which also had a separate microphone to stick on your dash. The other brand’s mic worked much better than this one, and the volume was a little bit louder than this one . . . but that is really not an issue because it is resolved by turning up the volume if you want it louder. However, when it comes to the microphone and being able to hear someone calling from a car on a highway, it gets quite noisy, and this is where the compact design fails. Because the mic is in the USB port, any vibration from the car, as well as the location of the plug, determines how well the mic sounds. While not moving in the car, the mic works fine. But when driving, the vibration and road noise take it’s toll on the clarity.
Overall, it is a good solution for someone who just needs a Bluetooth connection for audio to stereo. But when it comes to speaking on a phone, using your phone mic might work better.

The plus side of this device is that you don’t have to deal with charging it. While I like battery operated units, this one I prefer because I don’t have to charge it. And I just put it on the rear aux port so the cord isn’t in front of my dash. But, the downside is the Bluetooth. I have always-hot charging ports. This device gives me absolutely great sound, but if I grab my phone and run into a store, I can’t reconnect when I come back without unplugging it and putting it back into the charger. That is the only way I have found to reset it so it connects.

I really want to like this Bluetooth adapter, and for the most part I do. But I have to remove a star because of the faint, background, data (fax) noises that come through your car speakers when your environment is very quiet.

I love how this product simplifies the cables in our car. I included a photo of what I was able to REPLACE by using this Bluetooth adapter. I can get rid of all the bulk on the right of the photo, and simply use the single, compact cable on the left.

There are no controls. No buttons to press. And I love that. Your car MUST have both a USB port and an AUX port in order to make this work. You simply plug one end of the cable into each port and you are done. When your car is running, you just connect to the device and start playing audio. Super simple!

I tested this adapter while sitting in my car in a garage. It was a very quiet environment. Immediately upon plugging in the adapter, I could hear “data” or “fax” noises coming through my speakers… very faintly, but noticeable. “Oh no,” I thought. I played a high-def podcast and it sounds amazing and perfect. But during any pauses or parts of the podcast with no sound… I could faintly hear the fax noises.

I was a bit bummed until I decided to actually start the engine and drive around the block while listening. Much better! The regular noise of your car engine will cover the fax noises such that you don’t even notice it. I am definitely going to stash all of my old cables and devices and keep using this Smof Bluetooth adapter.

Clean and simple to use. Only drawback is some background "data" noise when things are very quiet.

I used this on my sister’s bucket car as I let her borrow my car due to her car having issues and I was working on it and taking it to work. Thankfully I work close to where I live but the drives were pretty boring without Bluetooth! This little device did great for what it is and the sound quality is ok at best! I describe it best by saying this is perfect “in the meantime” you get another car or upgrade stereos!

I have an older R**u TV that doesn’t have BT. I connected this adapter to the speaker out 3.5mm jack, then connected the adapter to my BT headphones. Voila!

I’ve tried a few different products like this one over the years, and it’s decent. There’s a little static, but not very audible when you’re actually playing music. It’s simple to use, and I can’t believe you can pack such cool technology into such a small item.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve been using this car Bluetooth adapter with an integrated aux cord, and for the most part, it’s been a reliable addition to my daily commute. With a 4-star rating, it’s clear that this device has more pros than cons, but there’s one noteworthy downside worth mentioning.

One of its standout features is its seamless functionality. It effortlessly pairs with my phone when I start the car, ensuring a swift and hassle-free connection. This reliability is a big plus, as I can immediately enjoy my favorite tunes, podcasts, or make hands-free calls without any frustrations.

What sets this adapter apart is its lack of integrated volume controls. Surprisingly, this is actually a benefit. I can set my phone’s volume to the maximum, allowing me to utilize my car’s volume controls. This eliminates the annoyance of volume resets between power cycles, providing a consistent and enjoyable listening experience.

However, there’s one drawback to consider: the attached aux cord. While it might seem convenient initially, it comes with a potential inconvenience. If the cord sustains damage or undergoes wear and tear over time, you’ll find yourself needing to replace the entire adapter. This not only incurs an additional cost but also raises environmental concerns, as it can feel somewhat wasteful.

Works great for what I need it for, I currently have this plugged into a larger stereo system at my current job and have the USB plugged into a power supply, now I’m able to jam out at work! Super easy to pair, once plugged it, it starts to auto-search Bluetooth

It didn’t work for me when I tried to plug in my CarPlay head unit from its 3.5mm aux jack to the USB media input to my car. It could just be that my USB ports aren’t built for that purpose though.
