Bought for its Gold security specifications. I use it as a disc lock when away from home and with a gold approved chain and ground anchor at home in garage which is alarmed as is the bike . OTT? No had one stolen 2 years ago . It won’t happen againSubstantial lock

Purchased to replace an older disc lock to secure motorcycle. Easy to operate, bright in colour to deter thieves and has a good strong secure rating. Might even bring some discount to the insurance.

A tip….blast it with wd40 before use…

For quality it’s up there..40mm tang and the lock is very well made…
Used it twice since getting it today ..looped it on my disc breaks…
So
If they can beat my alarm post chain and this lock then they can have the bike seriously…I walked away assuredly with this lock on my discs

For it’s size you won’t get much better than this! I’ve seen that there quite a few different versions of this lock from Oxford etc, however this is definitely the best one. It’s the only one with a diamond level bicycle rating and the gold motobike rating is plenty enough for me to have confidence in it’s abilities to prevent theft. I reckon you’d be at it with an angle grinder for at least 5 minutes before you got it off completely!
