I was recently sent the Car Cup Holder Phone Mount to review, and overall, it’s a pretty solid product with some caveats. First off, it’s made from robust plastic, which gives it a sturdy and durable feel.
However, it didn’t fit in the cup holder of my Fiat 500, which was a bit of a let down. It did fit well in my husband’s SUV, though. So, keep in mind that this mount is better suited for cars with larger cup holders.
One tip I can offer is that your phone will be much more secure in the holder if it has a rubber case. It adds that extra grip, making it less likely to move around while driving.
Given the robust build but limitation on the type of cars it fits, I’d rate it a 4/5. If you have a vehicle with larger cup holders, this phone mount could be a very useful addition for you.
Such a great idea! I lack a phone holder in my little fiat that doesn’t send my phone flying across the car when I turn a corner. This is the perfect solution. After placing it in one of my cup holders, it expands to fit the circle and provides a sturdy stand for my phone to sit in.
This phone holder, was just what I was looking for, for car journey’s with my husband. As when we travel together, I have no place to put my phone when it’s charging. With this cup, phone holder, I am able to charge my phone (with the cable trailing down), use the cup space for my cup and not my phone and still have my hands free.
The phone holder is made from sturdy, hard plastic. It was easy to fit into the cup holder, in my husbands car. It would perhaps fit better in a bigger cup holder, but I was able to press the ends towards each other and slot it in. My phone seemed to sit securely in the holder.
Over all, I am happy with this item. It will help out on our travels.
