This Held my album frames which are quite heavy up for a year and when I took them down there was no residue left on the wall and it didn’t rip any wallpaper off.
I used the Command XL Picture Hanging Strips a few days ago for hanging a mirror on my wall and this product turned out to be above my expectations. It is pretty good in size and some pounds in weight, but these things hold it against the wall like magic.
It came with simple instructions on the pack: clean the wall, stick on strips and press firmly for a few seconds—voil! It’s fixed in place, secured.
I just love the fact that it even says on the packaging that it doesn’t damage the surfaces, so even if someday I have to remove the mirror, then I won’t have to bother with chipping walls or the scary sticky residue.
I must say, these Command XL Picture Hanging Strips really work. No adhesive, no mess. And they are so strong, I can even hang heavy things like my mirror. Great holding strips for any hanging duty-sans nails and screws.
Love these for hanging almost everything in our house. From heavy mirrors to lightweight pictures to a dart board cabinet, all super secure! Best bit is when I get bored and want to move things around, they come off easily and leave the wall mark free! Great value for money
Great value for money compared to buying them from other shops and have held everything we have used them for up well. We have used them to hold a cardboard cut out to the wall, small picture frames (one in the middle is all you need) and a large A0 poster frame and they have held them all up well (been up for the past month and no issues). They are easy to stick up and it’s much easier to line up small photo frames when you dont have to try and calculate where the hook needs to go, will definitely buy again.
I bought this item to hang a fairly light wrapped canvas picture in my bathroom. It’s been up for over a month now and still in place. Not sure how they would work on heavier pictures. They were easy enough to attach to the canvas. My only criticism would be that you need to make sure you get your picture in the right place first time as once stuck I don’t know how easy it would be to pull off and how much damage would be done to the wall. So far so good though and they seem to be doing as expected.
Since the closure of a major retailer. These have become difficult to find.
These are excellent value for money – I’ve been using them for years and have never had a problem with their quality yet.
Very easy to use and holds fast different sized frames. I have bought this product many times for home and office and thoroughly recommend. Can confirm removal is simple with no marks to the wall.
It won’t take the weight of your full-sized Titian but I’ve hung some reasonable sized pictures in solid wooden frames and they’re still on the wall after 2 weeks. I haven’t removed any so I don’t know if they really go without marking the wall … but then drilling holes for screws marks the wall.
I bought the cheaper Chinese version but they pulled the plaster from the wall i have binned the remainder and have just applied Command again my lesson has been learned Mike
What an excellent invention these are! No need for screws or nails anymore with these. Takes seconds to apply to the item & the wall. Been up for months now & haven’t fallen off. Really pleased & won’t hesitate to purchase more when I need them. Highly recommended
Excellent product, a bit on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. I’ve used cheaper alternatives and paid the price when stuff fell from the wall!!!! It’s worth the few extra pounds for what I believe is peace of mind.
Will buy the product again as and when required. Leaves no marks on the walls when removing them if you need to move or reposition.
This is the first time I’ve used these and I would never go back to the old way. We’ve just decorated our new extension and didn’t want to bang nails into the new plaster so I thought I’d give these a try. Just follow the instructions to the letter and you’ll never go back.
I’ve struggled with command strips for heavy items in the past, but this time I followed instructions to a t and it has worked. We made sure to remove anything that was jutting out the back of the frames, we used the right number of strips for the weight of the item (4x strips for each of my 2x large picture frames) and left the strips to cure on the wall for several hours (although they only ask for 1 hr) before hanging the frames on them, and they look to be holding up firmly. We weren’t able to wipe the wall with rubbing alcohol as the paint is latex-based, but it still seems to have worked fine.
I was struggling with my Ribba frames from Ikea. Couldn’t hang them up with ANYTHING. I tried big nails (damaged my wall) with photo hangers, new hooks but nothing worked!
Its been 2 weeks now since my frame has been up and I’m AMAAZEDDDD that it’s still up there! Hope it stays up for long
