Quite a compact little light, that’ll easily clip onto the top of you’re laptop or screen.
It’s powered by a regular USB A.
You’ve the choice of three different tones of white, warm, daylight & cool white, these are easily toggled with the little control panel that’s built into the power cable. This also controls the brightness.
Ordered to be used for work video calls, but it’s not of a high enough standard for that….it’s a bit more teenager in their bedroom quality.
It’s not expensive, so I’m not wanting to be overly harsh about it, but for professional use, you’d want something better, but could be useful in other situations.
This is a nice light but I still need to use a second light to fill the shadows. I used to be a photographer, so I’m a bit fussy… but I’ve had other lights that did the job without need of fille
Eliminate poorly lit, rough looking streams with this conference light. Various light modes allows for the perfect tone. Simply plug in and attach to top of laptop screen or pc monitor.
This light is ideal for placing on your computer and is great for zoom conferences, so you can adjust the lighting on yourself or your background. It’s a compact light, and it clips easily onto the top of your computer.
It plugs in easily via a USB port and a powered remote where you can adjust the light settings. There’s a power button with this switch to turn it on and then three buttons to choose the light colour, temperature (warm, natural or cold), and ten brightness levels. You can also long-press the button to dim the lighting if needed.
One aspect of this video light I like is its long charging cable, so you can position the remote switch for easy reach next to your computer or laptop. I find this light more straightforward to use than the ring lights I’ve found elsewhere, as they can be tricky to set up correctly. Highly recommended.
Now then, that’s better; this light array makes Zoom & Teams just so much more bearable.
Easy to setup and operate (I suggest the cool white for a professional look) this has proved a welcome addition to the video conference that has become a norm in distance education and working from home.
This is a practical and versatile lighting solution for online meetings and video calls. With 120 LEDs and three light modes, it offers adjustable brightness and color temperature ranging from 3000K to 6500K. The clip-on design allows for easy attachment to laptops and computer monitors, ensuring well-lit and professional-looking video sessions. Whether you’re working from home or participating in virtual conferences, this light enhances your visibility and creates a more flattering and professional appearance.
The Conference Video Light, RealPlus Clip-on Laptop Light with 120 LEDs and 3 Light Modes comes well packed, with a protective film on the light( to be removed before use ), and a power cable, with a built-in controller.
You can adjust the color temperature, and brightness by pressing the right buttons.
The light can be mounted on the screen of your computer/tablet.
You can also place it on your desk or a shelf.
The light is quite bright, and the brightness adjustment works well.
I like how compact this light is, and can be powered via USB-A port directly from your device, or external power source( power bank, main plug, and similar).
Using this light makes a big difference in the quality of your call/ recording. Your face becomes well visible, and the image is sharper/better quality.
The light is compact and lightweight – easy to put away or fit with the charger in your laptop bag.
Nothing so far.
A good value for money, and a very useful LED light.
This is a great alternative to the clip on “Ring light” design and is immediately impactful. This small light block emits 3 types of light and the brightness/strength can be lowered or increased as needed. It has a good length usb cord with control panel that is easy to use. The clip is strong, it can clip to the top of your phone or monitor of a PC/Laptop and even a Tablet depending on your needs and will improve the image quality of the webcam by providing extra light this fantastic bit of kit gives…it has already improved my content creating, for the asking price, a great addition to any setup.
To the untrained eye it may seem like only 2 light settings but there are in fact 3 as stated in the listing. There’s the cool, neutral and the warm light options. Alongside this you can adjust the intensity of the light to suit.
The clip has a stiff hinge but there’s no spring loaded clip like other lights on the market. I think this is designed in a way that you could keep the base fully folded and place it on top of something (since the base has a sponge pad) or use as intended and fix to your screen. I found it slightly awkward to fit it to my thin laptop screen but got there in the end. Works well to make me look more flattering on my Zoom and Teams calls so I find it really handy.
Be aware that this is a cabled light and needs to be plugged into your computer. It doesn’t have a built-in battery. If you run on a Mac you’ll need a converter to USB C unfortunately.
Fundamentally, this is just a USB-powered LED lamp, with an inline set of controls to adjust the brightness and warmth of the light it produces.
The key thing is that it’s got a “webcam” style mount, making it easy to set up on an office desk alongside a standard webcam. Thereby making it very useful for online meetings and the like.
The light it produces is nice and consistent, and can be powered via a power bank, which could be handy when travelling.
All in all, it’s a decent little bit of kit, and sensibly priced.
The RealPlus Conference Video Light is a must-have accessory for online meetings and video calls. With 120 LEDs and three adjustable light modes, it provides optimal lighting for your laptop or computer monitor. The dimmable light, ranging from 3000K to 6500K, ensures a professional and well-lit appearance. Its compact and portable design, along with easy USB connectivity, makes it perfect for on-the-go use. Say goodbye to poor lighting and elevate your virtual presence with the RealPlus Conference Video Light.
I like how uncomplicated this small conference light is. To set it up all you have to do is clip it on top of your screen, plug in the USB cable, then switch it on via the power button on the in-line control. You then have the option of three colour modes: cold, natural, warm. Additionally, you can dim or brighten the light to achieve your desired brightness. It’s worth noting that once you’ve found your ideal setting, and providing you switch off via the control button, your light will return to that setting when you switch it back on again. The other cool feature is that the light can easily be rotated horizontally or vertically. It also comes with a generous power cable which I measured at 1.9 metres.
Although this light is primarily designed for video conferencing, it could just as easily be used as a desk light, reading light, bedside light etc. I have to say that I really cannot fault this light. It’s been nicely designed, it does exactly what I need of it, and it comes competitively priced. Given its quality and performance, this is definitely a product I can highly recommend.
i have used a lot of ring lights and different light set ups to try to get the lighting right but this one wins hands down against any others i have used. it has 3 different light colour settings and is dimable so it is great for gettings the right brightnes. Also it attaches really well to screens able to pivot around to the right direction.
This essential lighting companion is a game-changer for anyone in need of excellent lighting for conference video, photo shooting, or webcam streaming. Personally, I found it to be a must-have item. It effortlessly clips onto my PC monitor, fitting perfectly into my setup.
One of the standout features of this product is its versatility. It offers three different light modes to choose from warm, natural, and cold. Additionally, there is a range of brightness levels, allowing you to customize the lighting according to your specific needs and preferences.
One of the biggest advantages of this lighting companion is its power source. You can conveniently connect it to your device via a USB type A cable, eliminating the hassle of dealing with batteries and the fear of running out of power during crucial moments.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this lighting companion to anyone looking to enhance their video calls, photoshoots, or webcam streaming sessions. With its impressive features and hassle-free functionality, it’s an absolute game-changer.
Very easy to set up and operate, though the light I got only has the warm and cool white modes and no warm amber light, when pressing the mode button a third time the light just turns off instead of switching to the warmest amber colour.
There is a long USB cord so you can set it further away from the power source as needed.
Brightness levels can be adjusted.
Compared to similar lights I like the clip the most, it is not a spring clip so you will have to open and adjust/tighten it manually but the benefit of that is that you can use it on digital screens without the possibility of the tight clip crushing the screen.
A simple and easy to use mini-light, designed to clip onto the top of your monitor or laptop screen but of course can be used elsewhere as well.
There’s no set-up required, just plug in via the USB cable provided and use the toggle to choose your warmth/brightness. I like how easy this is, and that it’s a portable size.
The clip could be a little stronger but overall I think this is pretty good for lighting a small space.
Where I live doesn’t get a lot of natural daylight coming in so I needed a light for video calls. This light plugs in to a USB plug or port and starts working straight away. The controls are on the wire to adjust the brightness and colour temperature. I like that this light has a diffusing cover on it as it is less harsh and my skin looks nicer on video. Overall this is a great peice of kit to go with your laptop.
This is a bright lamp that certainly works for highlighting your face, be it in the dark or backlit on a sunny day.
The light head is around 10cm x 6cm and is permanently attached to the bracket and power lead. The bracket is a simple jaw design that hooks over your laptop back and closes to keep it in position. It’s not going to stay on if you’re walking about though, and the power lead is just that bit too thick, so moving it around a lot can also cause the light to come off.
The light can be angled up and down, as well as from left to right, so has a good range of movement. I would have liked a tripod mount and possibly a way to stick it to my monitor, as I’ll be using this next to my web cam on a desktop setup.
The controller is quite good, with on/off button, a colour temperature button (warm, neutral and cool) and two buttons for brightness. It’s pretty bright and works well.
Draws around 0.9A for the warm/cool options, 1.6A for neutral, so should work on even a lowly USB 1.0 port, and shouldn’t draw too much power from a laptop or power bank if on the move.
