The two front tyres of my car lose two or three pounds pressure each week. This marvellous little pump saves me from using either a foot pump or a pump that plugs into the cigarette lighter and then messing about with a long cable.
A very useful piece of kit.
I really like this but you could achieve the same results much quicker with a footpump.
Although I think the novelty of just being able to leave it whilst you have a tea is good.
This is so easy to use, it’s just like holding a baby drill. Push the trigger once and you’re off, ready to inflate your tyres. I love the fact it has extra nozzles for bikes, swim rings etc, so handy. Would definitely recommend.
Brought this to make it easier. It was so simple to do – charged up – check what your tyres are suppose to be set on and attach to tyre. It took approximately 10 mins to do all 4! It as different valves for different car/tyres in the box. Even the husband was impressed!
Most cars now dispay a warning should tyre pressure become an issue which means that any issues can be dealt with while they are minor rather than only noticing them when they are obviously flat.
Having a tyre inflator means it’s possible to hopefully keep tyres inflated enough to get you to a garage if it’s impossible to change tyres which in my circumstances it would be as I have a back problem and no longer have the survey needed to change a tyre and while I would struggle bending down I would be able to use this should I need to.
This is rechargeable so it’s worth checking it regularly to make sure it’s ready to use when needed.
It’s simply enough to use and the instructions are clear and easy to follow.
It doesn’t take up much room so it’s practical to keep it in the boot.
Hopefully I will never need to use it but should the time arise it will prove to be worth its weight in good, a very practical “what if” item.
Once charged, operation is very simple. Press the R button to reset and select pressure measure: PSI, Bar etc. Then set the desired pressure with the + and – buttons. Pull the yellow trigger and release. The air starts to flow and continues until the pressure is reached, after which it stops.
The unit is ergonomic and works well. It’s super convenient too, being rechargeable.
Minor niggles – the item’s design isn’t very space-saving and there’s no case or bag to keep it in. I found a suitable draw string bag, as I know that without it, the charging lead and/or attachments would get lost.
Given the current price of about 25, this is a no-brainer, and anyone who drives long journeys should carry one in their car.
Also good for inflatables like beds, paddling pools etc.
The built in light activates when the trigger is pulled and is a useful addition.
