Hello fellow dog walkers (I am presuming many looking for lightweight and waterproof are going to be dog walkers )
So those so enjoy walking in the rain, this works. Yes you are going to get hot. It’s waterproof so it’s going to get warm. The lining does help soak sweat up and it’s nice to have the lining in the hood too.
I waiting until the storm we had here to write my review. Yea I went out in the storm rain and wind.
I got no water through the jacket at all.
It covers the bum and had a lovely high neck.
The hood comes down over the collar so no chance of dribbles down the neck.
The side pockets the flap opens to the front, rather than backward which was odd but they pockets are waterproof. The inner pocket is great to tuck in something you won’t need to get at while walking in the rain.
The chest outer pocket I was dubious of it would keep the rain out. So I put my phone and a tissue in there.
100% dry after two hours of walking in horizontal rain.
It’s really not too heavy at all, as I say you will get hot, that’s life. I can imagine when it gets really cold that’s going to be a massive bonus. Even the hood stopped the wind whistling into my ears.
There are elastic toggles to pull that hood tight. The wind will not blow it off.
Adjustable cuffs and the colour is great.

To have room to move or wear a jumper if it’s snowing etc. this gave plenty of room.
There isn’t an option to cinch the waist, so it’s just straight and loose. But let’s face it, dog walking or hiking out in the rain isn’t a fashion show
I looked at a name brand (regatta) and this is almost exactly the same, but half the price. And it works. It kept me dry during horizontal rain.

This looks a great coat,hood fits nice not like dome hoods on coats either to big or not big enough,I am glad I order LG as I usaly have 14 and this coat fits just right and comfortable, great colour, sleeves a bit long doesn’t matter as there is velcro fastening and this helps pull them up.
I love the colour ( purple) I followed the reviews advice & bought a size up, I didn’t need to really but I’ve kept it as it does give me more room for a bigger jumper. It’s very stylish & the only reason it’s got 4 is the sleeves are really big & a bit disproportionate.
I am a petite size 8/10 but after reading the reviews I ordered a M. It is very roomy so I think the S would have fitted fine. However, it is good to have room for a jumper in the colder weather. Very nice looking, good quality, lots of pockets, the pink colour is pretty. Very versatile, really nicely lined and breathes well to prevent perspiring – highly recommend but my opinion is the sizing is true to size and does not come up small as some reviews have suggested. A great all round jacket!
This raincoat is lovely,well worth the money.however after reading the reviews I ordered a large although I’m a size 12 and it fits perfectly so would recommend anyone purchasing should go for a bigger size than usual .
Good fit although I would not be able to fit a jumper underneath it, however it is definitely waterproof and the hood is big enough to be useful. Not sure that it is really breathable, as I found I was quite hot and damp having worn it for 20 mins but the rain from the outside definitely did to get in.
Coat as described, good quality. Only thing to watch for is sizing. Fortunately I read reviews before ordering. I’m size 10-12 and I ordered large which is big enough to wear a jumper underneath ,any smaller size would have been too small
This was a lightning deal from Amazon and I’m very impressed with the quality of the coat and how well made it is. Excellent fit and ideal for wearing over a shirt when dog walking at 05.30 before it gets warm. The lining is cosy and jacket is lightweight with four useful pockets, one inside and three outside with zips. So far I’ve only had a couple of showers whilst wearing it but I see no reason why it shouldn’t be okay in heavier rain. Looks smart as well.
Love this jacket and the colour (purple). Handles a light drizzle from what I’ve been able to test out so far. Love the adjustable cuffs. Wouldn’t be able to wear anything really thick underneath, or put on more weight, otherwise I won’t be able to fasten the zip, but that suits me. Happy with the purchase.
I bought this jacket because it was exactly what I was looking for and hasn’t disappointed! It’s taken me a while to review because I wanted to know what it was like in torrential downpour. I live in Blackpool which is windy a lot of the time and this jacket is definitely wind proof. It’s warmer than my padded coat, I don’t need as many layers in winter. It’s shower proof but not water proof in torrential rain, although I did only get wet arms as the picture. I love the toggles on the hood, it keeps it wrapped around my head without blinding or strangling me. It’s an all over great jacket which I wear every day. Size is perfect, I’m a size 12.
Whe I took it out of the package I thought it was extremely light and thought I’d been too hasty as I had seen the price and snapped it up. The lining was described as a fleece but it was behind an odd lining. I decided to give it a trial. Went out on a walk with the dog usually I get very hot it controlled my temperature its breathable. It is easy to move in and when it raind I was completely dry. Fantastic little coat. Looked at the details as it’s very fitted I think it’s for people running at night the coat is very bright but I highly recommend it as a good all weather jacket.
Mrs has a traditional long rain jacket which isn’t quite ideal for biking, its lightweight and quite comfortable. She already has rain jackets in black, purple, pink and blue. So thought of giving her a surprise with a different colour that isn’t long and at the same time can be worn whilst biking. Keeps it nice and warm its windy.

Most of the time when you order jackets online you aren’t that great quality unless you buy from a well known brand but not from made in china brands. I wanted something light weight and not very expensive and neither very cheap but at the same time a bit of a different colour.
I was really taken a back when I opened the package. The Jacket really surpasses the quality that we have from — Regatta. The jacket is well made and has no uneven stitching anywhere. The jacket has reflectors which is helpful for night walks. Each pocket on each side has zip with again reflector on the sides. It surprised me with a pocket inside at the chest area, which you don’t get in most of the top brands for that price bracket. The pocket is quite deeps which easily takes Samsung S10 — it’s a sizable mobile. Additionally there is another zipped pocket on the outside top left side of the chest again has a reflector.
The hood can be detached from the jacket giving a good fashion look.
The finale was as soon as she wore the jacket it really impressed her with the fitting — Medium, giving a nice shape, fits perfect– picture attached for info.
I contacted the seller to check if they have any other colour as my eldest wants it so badly, but again looking for a different colour, unfortunately they don’t have it or she may go for a green.
NOTE: I found this is a good jacket for the budget price with good quality, you may or may not prefer a non-branded jacket but this has certainly made me think — not all made in china products are cheap quality for the cheap price.
