This enabled me to display my switch to a mobile monitor for better visual play anywhere I could set up a portable monitor. Worked on my first Lenovo monitor but does not output enough power for my new Asus which is a bit bigger sadly.

The adapter does work with any HDMI device like xbox, playstation, pc and it takes the power from the usb port to power the glasses, the only thing is i can not get sound to go through the Xreal glassess so i always have my bluetooth headphones in but other then that it seems to work fine, haven’t tried it on game systems with sound due to not owning all systems.

The unit work perfect, but bundle in charging Micro USB power cable is faulty. It took me a while to test individually component as I am trying to link my smart glasses to a iPhone. Lucky I have heaps of spare micro USB lying around. Anyway it is working perfectly with my TCL smart glasses plugging into the iPhone digital HDMI unit.

EDIT: My prior review was slagging off this product because of a glitch with Nreal where the top 10% of the screen was shifted to the bottom for some reason. If you’re using it with Nreal, this is a known issue *with Nreal*, and is resolved via a firmware update. I went ahead and got the firmware update, and found that the issue was resolved. This product absolutely does its job, and I jumped the gun to assume otherwise.

So, why am I leaving it at 4 stars rather than 5? No audio transfer (don’t think it can really be helped, due to hdmi to usb c being presumably wonky in that regard), and the box it came in was beaten up and a tad sketchy.
