What great bit of kit, the handheld display unit is clear (slightly grainy until I opened out all the cable).
There is a magnification mode which helps identify things, the light has different modes of brightness.
The cable is super long..it’s just very good..
Would highly recommend, buy it you won’t be disappointed.

This was tested today in 60cm of water to read a meter, no issues, down gaps in dry lining to find a leak, and down a drain to check watertight
Charge stayed at full for over 2hrs use. Screen lovely and bright and clear.

5.0 out of 5 stars It works well, clear screen, great illuminatio

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHere is my review for the AOPICK endoscope inspection camera. Why did I want to use one? I moved into a new to me 1970s house that had been refurbished. The kitchen has integrated appliances but I had no idea where they plugged into power. So the hunt for the hidden power sockets began as I was loathed to drag the appliances out. This device allowed me to look under the kitchen plinth to find the sockets. The super bright 8 led’s did a fantastic job of lighting up the dark space so that I could get a good 1080p live picture on the small 4.3″ screen. I was able to locate the sockets and realised they were installed in the most inconvenient position! The next job was to inspect the integrated dishwasher that stopped draining. Conveniently, the inspection camera is IP67 rated and I went about inspecting the dishwasher drain hose. The camera is attached to some 16ft semi rigid cable. Unfortunately, I was only able to get part way inspecting the hose before the cable was too rigid to be pushed along further. However, it was far enough for me to see the hose was pretty clean. The handheld display part of this item is extremely easy to use but it is for live viewing only. There is no option to record footage or take any still images. The onscreen display can be manipulated to black and white or amend contrast should you need to adjust so that a better picture is seen. The 2000mAh battery provides a generous lifetime of upto 3.5 hours and can be recharged via USB c 5v 1A port. Fast charging is not supported. Included is hooks, magnet and mirror attachments. This is a remarkable product for the price, though lacks some nice to have features. If it did have those more intelligent features, such as recording or WiFi connectivity, then the price would be far greater. If you don’t require any advanced options then consider this. It’s well built and works a treat.

Whet my appetite for this by using one that you attach to your phone ,that worked ok but I was weary using my phone around a car engine so this I purchased this at not a lot more and I’m glad I did the image quality is fantastic, having the handle to hold the screen is soo much better than holding your phone tentatively .the camera cable length is probably too long for my needs, but just means you can use up the exhaust or your sewer
It’s very simple to use and a picture can be captured easily .
I’ve found it great to use

Particularly for my use this is a very practical inspection camera which is quite easy to use, straight out of the pack I just have to attach the cord and then powder it on(it works on battery which is already integrated into the device) and from there the product is ready to be used.

In terms of built in quality, this one is more or less fine, nothing major to mention besides the fact there is solid build with a long cord which can reach spots which without any doubt I wouldn’t be able to get with my hand or for example to see with my eyes, the display is bright enough to see the details even day time in broad light and considering that at the end of the cord it has light makes it more practical.

I use it for a couple of times to check the vans from work before going to the mechanic to know exactly what has to be done and even though it is for the first time in my life when I am using this type of product, I can say that it was really easy to work with and understand the functions that it has.

Related to the battery, I had to charge it only after using it for around 5 times(10- 15 min per session) and I cannot say exactly how long it takes to fully charge because I just plug it until the battery is full.

This can be also used not only for vehicles like for example in my case to see under the cabinet in the kitchen where I thought I lost something but after checking with this camera the item that I was looking for was not there so also from this point of view this was helpful.

Overall, it does the job he was bought for so I have not eat the complain about.

Really easy to use with good features including contrast and brightness adjustment
Nice long cable on the camera to feed into the smaller spaces, worked great in my wall cavity and in the car

Would not hesitate to recommend, especially for this price

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersA few years ago a chap arrived at our house to survey it for cavity wall insulation. To do this, he drilled a small hole in the external wall, and used an endoscope to look inside the cavity.

I was amazed at this gadget. But now, just a few years later, I have essentially the same tool. And it cost me around 35.

I was able to use the same hole in the brickwork (which he said he would fill in, but didn’t) to test this endoscope. I saw what he saw. There was already insulation there from the 1970s. But that’s another discussion topic.

So, what you get here for not-a-lot-of-money is a gadget with a lot of positives. For example, it uses a rechargeable battery. I’ve had it running for around 40 minutes so far, after a full charge, and it’s still showing all three bars of battery. You can use it while charging, by the way, so no matter how long the battery lasts, you could use this all day if you also carry a battery bank. The endoscope charges using standard USB-A, so you can use an old phone charger normally.

You get a nice long cable on the endoscope, and it’s waterproof, too. I diagnosed a problem with a constantly-blocking sink drain using it.

The one thing you do not get is the ability to plug in an SD card and save your pics/video. There’s no Bluetooth or wifi, either, and it doesn’t need an app. So, this is a tool be to be used for live diagnostics only. The endoscope does not work as a webcam, so you cannot plug it into a PC and watch the output there.

The screen is nice and bright. It’s a little difficult to see in bright sunshine, but this is true of virtually every LCD screen, including most smartphones. There’s a host of controls to make the image more legible, such as switching it to black and white, or increasing/decreasing the contrast. You can also press to flip the image 180 degrees, which really helps make sense of what you’re seeing.

The camera focusses from about 2cm to infinity, so you can also use this for peeping around a corner without being noticed, or slipping under a closed door to peek into another room, if that kind of thing interests you.

Add in the included neat tools that attach to the end, including a magnet, and you’ve a pretty nice tool here for those occasional tasks that demand it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice little gadge
