So easy to use, find an empty spray bottle, add a few drops of Spider repellent – shake and spray!
Clean intended area
Spiders love clutter and mess. Don’t give them the opportunity to hide under things and clean any cobwebs from the area.
Create your spider repellent spray
Find an empty, clean spray bottle. Mix 6ml of spider repellent per 1 litre of regular tap water. 6ml is roughly equal to 1 teaspoon. Take care when pouring the concentrate as essential oils at high concentrations can irritate sensitive skin. shake the bottle very well to ensure all is mixed.
Spray away
Start spraying any problem areas that could harbour spiders. Spiders love to hide in dark areas and behind furniture so start with these areas first along with entrances to your home.
Make up to 5 litres
Make a whopping 5 litres of spider spray to protect your entire house and indoor areas. We recommend topping up twice per month to ensure an effective scent barrier is maintained.

I was tired of my balcony being constantly infested with spiders during the summer, and it was becoming quite a nuisance. I decided to try the Spider Repellent Spray Concentrate, and I must say, it did help. However, initially, it only kept the spiders away for 2-3 days. Then, I decided to experiment with a higher concentration, and that made a significant difference. With the stronger mixture, I was able to enjoy a spider-free balcony for a whole week. The fact that it’s made from 100% natural ingredients and safe for humans and pets is a big plus. It’s a reliable solution if you’re dealing with persistent spider problems.
Excellent value for money cos it’s concentrated, so the bottle will probably last me forever. Easy to dilute. Smells good and seems to be working. Highly recommend and would buy again.
Do this comes in a tiny little bottle, but you only use 6mls per litre, so there is actually 6 litres worth which is lots! It’s lasting really well.
I used an old cleaning spray bottle which I rinsed out well and it’s perfect.
I’ve been spraying it under the lean to outside where store things and where we dry our clothes when it’s raining and I have to say there are less spiders and other flying critters too! There were soo many this summer but whether it’s the cooler weather or this spray, there is a noticeable difference.
I’ve also placed a cotton wool ball with a bit on under the stairs and the usual spider visitors have left!
I love the smell too, it’s s nice refreshing minty scent!
I have noted less spiders in the house since i got this product but im not sure if i can attribute that to the repellant or whether its just the end of the breeding season. Lovely smell and easy to use either way.
Our porch gets full of spideys!
I mixed this up strong and helped us get rid of them, I probably over used it, but I am rid of them!
I’m not sure if this would work in recommended mix, but it helped me in my situation.
At the time of this review, I’ve been testing this for a little over 3 weeks and during the heatwave that the UK had. I’ve sprayed almost everyday and at most morning and evening.
I tested this indoors and outdoors of my house, and I feel it has worked to repel spiders and other crawlies as I’ve not actively seen many spiders in the areas I’ve sprayed, but I can’t confirm for certain if it’s the repellent, weather, season etc.
I do like that this is a natural repellent rather than those that kill insects, I don’t want to kill them as they are important to the ecosystem, I just don’t want them around me or my house.
I made this double strength as per the instructions for outdoor use as there are large spiders living outside near my back door, and I’d much rather they stayed outside than coming in. The scent is very strong and has a pleasant minty smell. I think the other strong scent is castor oil. It reminds me a bit of beeswax, which I find less pleasant than the mint, but not to the point that I’d not use it.
I sprayed around the downstairs window and door frames and where the electrical cables come into the consumer unit. Since then, more garden spiders have moved onto the units, and one has even made a web on the outside of the door. The image shows a little spider on the inside of the door, next to the repellent. It wasn’t repelled and went straight back to living in the top corner, despite having sprayed 2 or 3 double strength squirts in that corner (far more than you’re supposed to spray!). Perhaps my garden spiders are just masochists, as I do have webs on my mint plant.
It’s not the garden spiders that I have a problem with. As much as I think that I shouldn’t say this, I haven’t seen as many of the beasties that I do object to since using the spray, so I can cope with the smaller ones being attracted to it if it means less of the monsters!
