I’m still getting the hang of all the features of this camera and it continues to be a lot of fun. I love the tiny size and it takes great video. I really like that it can be separated into two parts and the camera “head” portion can sit on a surface or one of the tripods and still be controlled by the base/handle. It can also be set to follow and it will follow the subject around the room. I’ve also noticed that it mimics some of the button functions that have become standard on gimbals; double clicks, triple clicks etc.. I’m still new to the gimbal and video scene so I can’t compare it too much to other brands/models, but I’m not new to technology or photography and can recognize a high quality product and results. The only complaints I have is that the zoom is a bit choppy and the screen is obviously very small difficult to always get a good feel for the composition of the shot. But still super cool.

I am newer to vlogging but previously bought a gimbal for my phone. While it was easy to use, I did find that it took some initial set up and getting used to. I’ve seen the more recognizable name brand solutions for these pocket gimbals such as the Osmo Pocket, and saw that the Feiyu had a great solution with previous models.

This newest model is competitive – 4k, lightweight, and the unique form factor of having a detachable, magnetic gimbal solution is very impressive.

I found set up very easy and the connection was straight-forward. The image stabilization and video quality is great and I’m honestly surprised how lightweight it is. I still haven’t used every feature, but in terms of just taking this out and recording, it’s so easy and I’ve enjoyed every time I’ve used it!

This is a great little stabilizing gimbal camera! It’s mounted on a tripod so that you can use it as a handle while recording. You can also stand it up on a counter and have it track your movement while recording. The camera head is magnetic and removable to attach to any magnetic surface to record while moving. You can attach it to your car, electric scooter or motorcycle while recording all the action and sceneries. It does a great job with stability. Everything looks smooth and the end result is always great. The app for this creates an even better experience. There is a learning curve to this, especially if you’ve never used a gimbal. I find this set does a great job. There are a couple of other options but, none of them have the magnetic removable head.

I had been looking for a camera to mount on my roadster for when we take a ride. Was considering a go pro as an option but wasn’t thrilled with the size or amount of hardware you need to mount it. Also I would need to add a gimbal if I wanted the go pro to track with the car. This little 4K gimbal mounted camera was a much better option. For starters I am amazed at the compact size when you take the gimbal section off of the control handle. It was easy to strap to my roll bar and its not as noticeable as a Go Pro would be. If the car didn’t have a fiberglass body I could have just use the magnetic base to stick it in front of the windshield. The Blue Tooth controller connects easily and is fairly intuitive to use. Still need to refer to the manual for some of the more advance features, but I am sure I will quickly get use to being able to enable them. I also like taking it to car shows and out for walks since it easily fit in my pocket. Definitely a great little camera and a very reasonable price considering the quality and features that is has.

I was super excited when the Feiyu Pocket 2s was announced. Being a hybrid pocket camera and action camera is just a great idea! Now that I’ve used it for a few weeks, I can tell you that I am impressed with its features: detachable gimbal camera head, 3 axis gimbal, face tracking, built-in magnets, and up to 4k 60P, 1080P 120P. And, Feiyu has added face tracking to their pocket size camera, which is very useful when walking around and focusing on someone’s face. The built-in joystick makes fine movements much smoother, and the detachable gimbal head is an innovative feature that makes it easy to capture videos from different angles without additional tools or accessories. Comes also in a super-nice retail box so the product is highly giftable. Overall, I’m pleased with the Pocket 2s and will definitely add it to my traveling bag.

I’m an amateur so I can’t give a deep review on the Pocket 3, but overall I like it. The tracking and stabilization work well, and I found it to be easy to setup and use, the build quality is also really good. My primary complaint is the image quality in less than ideal conditions doesn’t seem to be particularly good, though it does look quite good otherwise.

I’ll start off by saying I’m no pro by any means, but I’m wanting to learn photography, and get into video editing. This camera is great for someone like me and would probably be even better for someone with more knowledge with photography and videography skills. I’ve really enjoyed using this camera so far, it’s very versatile and has quite a bit of option to use. The quality is sharp, crisp and smooth! The pictures it takes are stunning. The battery life is pretty good for how small it is, and you charge both the camera and the controller via USB-C, which is great. The gimble is fairly decent, but a little bouncy at times. The zoom gets pretty grainy the further you zoom, but I don’t use that feature much, so problem for me. Overall, it’s a great camera that packs a punch for its size, once you get this you won’t be able to stop playing with it haha, highly recommend!

Also, I almost forgot to mention while using this camera it gets pretty hot, I’m not sure if that’s normal, but I wanted to mention that in this review.

    Nice Camera!

I’ve owned top-of-the-line cameras from brands like Canon and Sony in the past, and while their image quality is outstanding, I found that they often stayed at home due to their size, weight, and the need for multiple accessories. When you’re traveling, you want to carry more than just a camera; you need essentials like food and drinks, especially in remote places.

The Feiyu Pocket 3 Combo addressed my needs perfectly. It’s compact, lightweight, and doesn’t take up much space. All the necessary equipment fits neatly into a small 5×9-inch box, making it incredibly convenient to carry. Despite its size, it offers powerful features.

I particularly love the smooth, slow-motion recording and its 130-degree wide-angle lens, which allows me to capture stunning footage. One of my favorite features is its strong magnet, which makes it easy to attach to metal surfaces. I’ve even mounted it on the roof of my car and guided the lens from inside to capture fleeting and beautiful moments in videos.

For a traveler like me who values both image and audio quality and appreciates excellent stabilization, the Feiyu Pocket 3 Combo is an ideal choice. It provides all the features I need in a compact and versatile package, making it easy to document my adventures without the burden of heavy equipment.

    Nice design,Works grea

This is a frustratingly good camera.

My wife recently decided to buy her first GoPro, a model that cost an arm and a leg, and about three weeks after she received it we got the chance to test the Feiyu Pocket 3. Since receiving this thing she’s barely touched the GoPro. We could have saved a lot of money if we’d waited a while.

The camera is pretty much indistinguishable in terms of video quality from any recent GoPro. 4K resolution, high frame rate, yada yada yada. It’s solid, and there are no obvious flaws or drawbacks as far as I can tell. What pushes this above a GoPro, though, is the gimbal and remote handle.

I’ve tested a couple of gimbals from Feiyu in the past and found them generally excellent. The SCORP-C for DSLR cameras is fantastic, and while this gimbal is scaled down to action camera size it’s still very effective and offers very well stabilised video. I’ve yet to test it in challenging conditions, but it handles walking around at home very well.

The remote handle is just fantastic. It’s crazy easy to use, and while the screen is small it’s perfectly useable. You get similar functionality on the handle of Feiyu’s larger gimbals, but the ability to remotely control the camera from a distance while watching the screen is just a really great feature. I’m sure I’ll get a lot of use out of it.

All in all I’m really impressed, though I’ll be kicking myself for a while that I dropped all that cash on a GoPro that now lives in a drawer.

This is my first pocket gimbal and it takes some practice. I had my first shoot with it a few weeks ago and it turned out better than I expected. Somehow I had turned on slow-motion and the screen was so small I missed the indicator saying it was set. But slow motion actually made the project better. I ran the same project on my cellphone and mobile gimbal and I think the pocket gimbal works great and being smaller than my cellphone rig has its benefits. They do offer a cellphone mount to use your phone as a monitor and the camera sits on top of the cellphone. I’m not sure I have reason to do this. Both cameras have great-quality recording options.

    What I do not like:

Battery life is limited to an hour. You can always rig up some sort of portable battery option if you need more than an hour of recording or you will need to charge between recordings.

No lens filters or other accessories yet. The competitor already has the filters.

No external mic option. The onboard mic isn’t all that good. Earlier versions of this gimbal has an adaptor but you use a powered mic.

    What I like:

    The size and weight

    Recording quality

The combo set has everything you need to start basic recording action video.

I love this little camera. I was not to I pressed wiht its predecessor but many of the shortcomings seems to have been over, and the third edition. It has excellent image quality with decent low light performance and better image stabilization. The pocket gimbal is incredibly handy and fun to use. And you get a lot of functionality and such a small little camera.

I was a bit concerned because this company has a spotty track record when it comes to quality control and sometimes it’s a little bit of a crapshoot. But I’m pretty happy with this one. It’s similar to the DJI pocket but much significantly less expensive. I haven’t needed to return this but other reviews would indicate that the camera is not returnable so you want to check that before you order it.

Simple operation is smooth adding a three-way mechanical stabilization to the three-way optical stabilization. Between that she can get a pretty steady picture. And the screen and joystick detaches from the camera which is extremely cool.
I’m a little concerned going forward about reliability given the track record of the company but so far this thing has been performing excellently and the convenience and versatility of it really is quite amazing. You can go from action camera to WebCam to selfie cam to regular video camera all very quickly. It has a wide field of you so it’s less flexible for doing you know normal camera stuff but that’s not why you get something like this

As I put this thing through its paces I will try to keep this review updated as best I can and relay any problems or successes that may come up.

This is such a cool device. Have you ever wondered what would happen if you could create a hybrid of an OBSBOT Tiny 2 camera and a DJI Pocket 2, with a more robust gimbal included for good measure? Well, here you go! When I first saw this camera I dismissed it, thinking it wouldn’t offer greater functionality than the aforementioned DJI Pocket 2. The removable camera is key, however, and makes this one of the most versatile and generally useful cameras I own.

True, you *can* use this camera in pretty much the same way you’d use a DJI Pocket 2. You’ve got a small and highly portable pocket sized camera with stabilization. The tracking of the two cameras is similar, but the Feiyu’s real time wireless transmission is better. The AI tracking of this cam is better as well. Really, everything about the firmware is superior here. So head to head with the Pocket 2, the Feiyu P3 is a clear winner (though in all fairness it’s a bit more expensive).

Where the Pocket 3 really knocks it out of the park is the detachable camera. It’s got a ‘multifunctional mounting base’ that includes an interface for straps and a 1/4″ thread. You can even use it with GoPro accessories. There’s also magnets–and strong ones at that–that open up even more use cases. Worth mentioning that while the camera is small and can be mounted in countless ways it’s not as durable and downright burly as the GoPro and its action cam cohorts. Probably not what you’d want to use snowboarding, but if having a durable camera isn’t an issue it’s great for everything else.

Setup and configuration was easy and the on cam interface is much more simple to get a handle on than the one in the DJI Pocket 2. I love to see companies ‘think out of the box’ like this. I’m always thinking up new ways to use this camera and have only started to scratch the surface. Highly recommended!

    So, this is really cool.

It’s a camera stick, it’s a tripod camera or it’s magnetic! You can put the camera piece basically anywhere. We tried putting it on the hood or our car and controlling it that way and it worked! Granted, we only went like 30 mph, because I’m terrified of breaking it, but the screen was steady and good quality. The recording was even better!

It attaches and detaches from the handle easily and seems secure. Controls are relatively simple if you ever used a camera/electronic device in the last 10 years. Recording is as simple as hitting record on either the camera or the control. Battery lasts, geez, a long time. We used it on and off for days on end and didn’t have to charge it until….day 8? At least a weeks worth of battery with light use. Using it heavy, it’d last a good solid day I bet. At least like 8 hours id think straight use.

Build quality is right up there with some.of the nicest electronics I’ve used. It feels solid, it feels good. Buttons click nice and feel good. Screen is bright and easy to see/read. It would be nice to be a bit bigger, but then it wouldn’t be as compact.

Overall we really like it, we use it out all the time.

Works ok, but the software isn’t that good. I would recommend buying from a better brand, because this company charges way too much for products that aren’t that good. The battery life is also very very short, it lasted me about 10 minutes on less than half a charge. Do not buy.

pros: it keeps everything steady while walking, video its good quality not super pro but its good, its magnetic so you can place it anywhere, lots of good features, you want extra battery life just connect the remote.

cons: the camera sound is horrible worse outside and there is no way to use an external mic, the remote were it connects to the usb c looks like with multiple use it will break, then using remote it has lag/delay from recording to the remote, camera no water proof, zoom is not good.

  16. LavonneCamacho says:

This is a decent camera which is compact and easy to use. I love the fact that you can use additional mics because it has an external mic option. If you have a wireless mic system, this little camera gives you that option. I love the fact that it has a magnet and a tripod. The stabilization abilities on this camera set-up is really top-notch. Your video will look quite smooth if you are jogging or riding a bike or motorcycle. Overall, it’s a good little camera and a perfect system for vloging. I would recommend.

This is a really great value for what you get. You not only get the handle/remote, you also get an excellent tripod along with the camera. Everything is made well and is finished beautifully. The product does feel and look high end.

Stabilization when riding a bike or running is wonderful. It gives that little bit extra from what you would get from a main stream phone. While just walking or vlogging doesn’t really benefit greatly over those same phones. Stabilization is good.

Control is decent and a little better with the remote handle. With that said, options are very minimal. Turning of lights on the body or having the screen off by default isn’t an option. I don’t need those lights or screen when I am in stick mode. Could be just my unit, but if it isn’t it is a pretty large oversight.

4k 60 FPS is nice and it has good quality, but not in all situations. This camera is horrible in low light. I am not talking night time, more like cloudy or rainy day looks terrible and noisy. The sensor is just super small without excellent software to compensate. Most of the time I am in idea sunny conditions so it isn’t a huge deal, but it matters. This camera can’t be used in all lighting conditions like the phone in my pocket. It why I will likely not use this all too often after the honey moon is over. Why? I have a better overall camera in my pocket. rare conditions yes, but does that make it worth price tag? It all depends on our use case.

    Great stabilizatio
