Pls check the Quick Installation Guide in the package to get more detailed steps.
Why can’t I connect the camera?
Pls note: camera should be plugged in and indicator light should flash red and blue slowly; during connection, the phone and camera should be under the same 2.4Ghz WiFi (5Ghz is not supported). The detailed instruction pls refer to the user manual.
Why did the detection constantly trigger alarms?
The motion alarm will be triggered when an object moves and the camera pixels change. You can change it target to Person in Motion alert; adjust Detection area & Sensitivity in Motion detection; set a detection Schedule to reduce unnecessary alarms.
Why there is no setting after inserting a SD card?
If you insert a micro SD card (up to 128GB) but no SD card storage setting, it’s because the card is not recognized by the camera. You can 1) restart the camera and update its firmware; 2) format the card to FAT 32 or exFAT; 3) try another SD card.
Do I have to subscribe to cloud storage?
No, the cloud storage is optional. Each user enjoys a 30-day free trial of cloud storage. You also can insert a micro SD card (not included) to record videos for free.

Very easy to install. Looks fab, recording fab. Levy in customer service is very helpful. If like me you’re not very technically minded it can be a long process understanding what its features are. But then again I get so bored of manuals, so it might just be my impatience. Enjoying stumbling upon its remarkable techi features
This is a great little camera for the money! good quality and well made to be honest I can’t find any faults with it, it’s just what I wanted, very easy to set up, spot on!
What a great little camera. Easy to use, picture clarity is fabulous. I had a slight issue initially, contacted Customer Support and Luna helped out with some technical advice straight away with continued communication until it was resolved. I would highly recommend this camera.
My new security camera is fantastic is a lovely size and picture clarity is brilliant and so easy to use even the app was so easy to use getting them connected was so very easy I love it and would recommend i
I was impressed by the quality of the images and easy use of app to view different rooms. Having rechargeable battery is great, no power cord dangling about. What’s more the app tells me battery power left. Used USB cable to charge. I would certainly recommend.
Good camera for the price easily installed someone said it doesn’t show which way round the memory card goes but if you look where the reset button is there’s a little card showing you which way it goes picture is clear I like the siren and light battery life I don’t know yet as I’ve only just got this I wish they would give you more time to review as some times you don’t get chance to use your purchase straight away
eally good budget camera. clear day time & night time vision perfect alerts. only down fall is battery life is advertised as months but actually lasts about a week if i’m lucky. constant re charge needed for this camera so if you don’t want to be constantly up and down a ladder this isn’t for you.
Technology is not my bag. This is excellent. Super easy to set up. Pop an sd card into it, charge it, affix bracket to the wall, or whatever , attach camera to bracket. With the app, you see what you, want it too. If you want further surveillance you can pay on the app, that way when your out, you can see on the go. I’m happy with sd card, it records anyway. This is not difficult I promise….
Overall, a super little camera for the cost. Very easy to hook up to the WiFi and once mounted gives me a good picture. Night time images are still clear and only at 2k offers the clarity I need for watching the back door and garden.
I’ve not signed up to the cloud storage but use the SD slot instead.
Bargain and does the job
This camera is easy to set up and install. I used the memory card for recording and it is working great. Great picture quality. I needed some support as i was unsure if the card was inserted correctly and emailed for help. Levy replied with step by step advice and sorted out my querie; great service and i definatley recomend. 5 stars
Excellent performance for the price. I have Ring cameras overlooking our driveway but wanted a camera to cover the garden and rear of the property. Considering it is far cheaper than the Ring I was surprised at how well it performs. Easy to set up with the app and sends alarms when movement detected. Good night vision as well.
I have to say for the price I wasn’t expecting much really,
But the picture quality during the day is crisp and sharp and the night vision is also the same, it reacts quickly to movement during day and night
I had some issues with not receiving notifications but after contacting support the got back to me quickly and problem solved
If you are looking for a cheap wifi battery camera this is a must buy
Thank you
Mr Graham
Purchased this camera as starting having problems with last camera. This camera was less than half the price than my old camera!! Quality was great. Ease of setting up was good. This is a fantastic little purchase!! I use the camera at my front door & if motion is detected a notification comes straight through to my phone!! Would highly recommend!
5 Stars! Was looking for a wireless camera to install outside in my garden, that provided me with an alternative view back towards my property (in addition to the wired CCTV system already installed on my house). The camera was easy to set up and connect to my wifi and provides an excellent HD picture. It also has the added benefit of a light, siren and microphone which can be switched on/off accordingly. The battery power is also excellent and still has approx 30% charge remaining after approximately 2 months use. Would definitely recommend.
Very easy to use and delivers a quality picture still and video .
The battery is lasting very well its been up a month and only used 12% and because its my new toy its been used alot .
I have a security door bell camera on the front of the house and this on the back and feel very secure .
It will help me when I am away to keep tabs on what is going on around the house , I would definitely recommend this product .
Living on a quiet unmade road opposite woodland, with few neighbours I sometimes feel vulnerable in the dark winter months. So for reassurance decided to fit a couple of cameras, one covering the front drive and a second covering the rear of the house (which also is semi woodland).
So I called in a professional, as I knew nothing. To cut a long story short after several weeks of constant failures of one or both cameras which were huge and dimmed the national grid with its floodlights, I’d had enough and had them removed.
Did my homework and researched exactly what I needed and came across this little beauty.
These small but versatile cameras are a godsend, just the job when expecting welcome visitors (or not).
They were simple to install both physically and wirelessly. I like that you don’t have to have a subscription, a 128gb micro SD card is more than sufficient for my needs.
In my opinion the features of this great little camera are better than the professional hi end cameras the electrical contractor fitted any day, all at the fraction of the cost.
Moral is I will never again get in the professionals without doing my own research.
Lesson learned, money saved and confidence built, priceless for a female septuagenarian.
Having previously installed a much more expensive doorbell camera, I was a bit dubious about the quality of this. However it has turned out to be a bargain purchase in comparison. I also got the solar charger and would recommend doing so, it has remained fully charged even with the current bad weather. The camera does the job 1000%. The settings for sensitivity, lighting and alerts are perfect and I cannot fault them.
Highly recommended for both the camera and solar charging panel.
Most easiest cameras I’ve ever set up, settings for detection & motion very easy also. The view you see through the cameras is very good colourful and bright. Also you can see alot more through these cameras covers a garden/drive no probs. Very impressed highly recommend.
This camera cost a mere 28-00. What it delivers is a good Wi-Fi connection speaker, alarm, and night vision, and it is fully rechargeable. It amazed me how good it was for the money; in fact, it was so good that I bought another one.
As a security expert, I cannot recommend this device highly enough. Superb quality

Good quality product, easy to set up and to mount on the wall. Instrutions are clear and easy to understand. The images from the camera are very good and it covers all of my garden. In summary a very good camera for the price.
They work well and connect fine, but the image quality isnt as good as i thought it would be for 2K.
I have a laptop with a 2K screen and its nice and sharp, this is still pixelated, its close to my old 1080p cameras. It probably is 1080 and upscaled to 2k through software, but the still work fine.
The price I paid you do get a really good image for the price. Battery life is not as good as claimed but I am using it in the winter at the moment which affects most batteries. The unit itself seems pretty well made so overall I recommend it.
If you’re looking for a security camera this is amazing.
Great quality and a great price, it’s so good I’ve just ordered another one.
The photo I’ve attached was taken in a pitch black room with no lights.
It was so easy to set up.
It connects to your home WiFi so you can check the camera where ever you are in the world.
It uses its own app which you can download on to your phone.
It’s so simple to use.
With its own built in camera there’s no ugly wires.
Battery life is yet to be tested.
It has a standard 1/4″ camera thread which I’ve connected a gopro suction cup and stuck it to an indoor window.
It does come with its own wall mount and screws or it could just sit on any flat surface.
Very happy with this camera.
I highly recommend
If you need a camera in a location where you don’t have a power supply then this is ideal both indoor or outdoor. I have used it for a number of weeks and I’m surprised that the battery is still close to full. Obviously battery life will be impacted based on how busy the area under surveillance is. It was very easy to connect via the Wansview app and its also easy to install you get a sticker guide that makes it easy to drill holes in the right place. In using a 64gb micro sd card which records motion and its more than enough storage space for my needs covering the back garden. I would recommend this camera for those who don’t want to deal with wiring and are able to remove and recharge the camera when needed. Quality is 2k so the picture quality is very clear.
In all fairness, given the price, I didn’t have very high expectations here, especially considering that we’ve already had 3 similar cameras over the last few years so as the last one decided to give up on life, I chose this as its replacement. It’s so similar to the old one that it even fits on it’s holder.
On arrival, it was as expected but as soon as we switched it on and downloaded the app, you could see how much these little cameras have evolved over the last few years. The app gives sooo many options and adjustments, the camera itself is small but mighty with a light that comes on (quite a bright one too) when it detects movement at night. The sensors, if set to high, are very sensitive and will detect anything (one minor downside being that it occassionally reports our parked car being there), pic quality is great even at night and set up super easy so I am now buying another for the back.
This camera is battery operated. The manufacturer states a fully charged battery lasts between 1 and 6 months depending on use before requiring a recharge. I used mine quite a bit to test and I got a month out of the battery.
You need to locate the camera away from areas where it can be stolen but at the same time where you can access it to remove to recharge. It removes from the base without the need to unscrew the base.
The camera has the usual features and the picture quality is very good. I have a number of outside cameras but they are all located near to a power source. This camera can be put anywhere within the WiFi range of my home router so more opportunities to cover areas of my property not already covered.
The camera is waterproof and has been used outside in torrential rain with no operating issues.
Great camera for non powered areas and where camera use is going to be minimised.
I bought this camera for some extra security and I am extremely impressed with it after testing for 1 month. It is extremely responsive and reliable when operating it via the Wansview free camera app. There is no extra membership fees needed. You can upgrade to the extra premium subscription where it records for a longer period of time but that isn’t really needed for the average user. I am really impressed with the Wansview app. It saves the videos when motion is detected and you can easily select the date and time to view the video. I have a couple of other cameras in the Wansview app and they can all be viewed at the same time if needed. It is also quick to transfer between cameras. I would highly recommend this camera as you don’t even need to plug it into a power source so can be put anywhere.
DECLARING A TEST !
I was thinking when I got this – there is no way that a wifi camera with infra red, recording and audio is going tolast more than a week…
2 months on and the battery is about 70%!
I have it relatively close to the router… but the range is significant….
Its SMALL! you can mount it on a tiny flat mount/tripod and put anywhere…
Works fabulous with the Wansview app. takes a tiny bit of set up but the visibility is good and you can tune out the cats but flag people..
Its non intrusive – small and just “does the job”
I am actually very impressed…and the clarity at 2k is very good
So I’ve included 2 screen grabs… one of an alert triggered via IR and then one “live” (with the other camera we have) ..
ALL in all I’d buy another in a heart beat as they are very good…
TLDR – good camera with some annoyances
Having tested this camera for three weeks, here are my notes so far.
Good points
Build quality seems very good
Reliability so far is very good
Image quality, both day and night, is very good
Motion alerts work
Battery life seems very good. After a week it’s at 86%. Edit – 76% after two weeks. Edit – 59% after three weeks. That’s impressive, but I would have to say that Galayou’s claim of “up to 5-month worry-free use on a single charge” does seem ambitious.
Body has a flat base so the camera can be free standing. Many similar cameras don’t have this.
Mounting is a standard 1/4″ screw so normal tripods can be used. A permanent wall mount is included.
Bad points
Unlike some other Galyou cameras that I already have, this camera does NOT support RTSP or ONVIF, which means that it cannot be viewed anywhere other than the Wansview Cloud app. For me, this is a showstopper as I use a centralised PC to monitor and record all of my cctv cameras.
At the start of many recorded clips (max 60 seconds) the image flares as the camera adjusts the exposure. I would have expected exposure to be set before the camera starts recording. Maybe that’s because it’s battery powered.
The longest recording that can be set on battery (or when plugged into a USB-C power supply) is 60 seconds, which is too short. I’d expect that users would prefer to sacrifice some battery life for a longer recording time. This should be a user choice.
The replay feature (replaying clips from the SD card) on the Wansview app is not easy to use. The same replay feature on the CamHiPro app, that competing cameras use, is much better. On the CamHiPro app for example, it jumps automatically when close to the next clip on the timeline, whereas with the Wansview app you have set the cursor exactly on the clip or it just won’t play.
Siren could be louder
There is no option in the app to remotely reboot camera. The only option is reset, which I assume means a full reset to factory settings.
Motion sensor has a slight delay before recording. I think this is probably normal on cameras like this, however my PC software can be set to pre-buffer the stream so that recording can start several seconds before the movement which causes the alert. Unfortunately as this camera does not support RTSP/ONVIF, it’s not possible to do this.
It is possible to set the app to recognise Person, Vehicle, Pet, and Package. Unfortunately however it looks like this is only used to label the alert clips, and it is not possible to only have alerts only for persons for example. Rejecting pets and vehicles and only alerting for persons would be useful.
The packaging had everything you need to get going. I would suggest that you make sure the battery is fully charged before you begin the installation as you can’t see the battery level on the camera until the installation is complete. Charging is simple using the cable supplied and is quite quick.
The set up was easy, just adding the camera to the ones I already have on the app. Once it was set up the app shows the battery condition for the camera.I’ve been using the camera for about two weeks now and the app is still showing 50% charge
The picture and sound are good. I haven’t seen the light working yet.
I am currently trying the camera out in a number of different places, both inside and outside. It is great not having to worry about whether I can get a power supply to any place before deciding to place the camera there.
