This is a good replacement if your switch has stopped playing games. It’s pretty easy to replace as it comes with all the tools needed. With a slow and methodical approach it still only took about 30 minutes.
Top tip- you have to remove the heat sink in order to remove the broken part. I put some new thermal paste on just to be on the safe side. I already had some, but it’s pretty cheap to buy and it would help for any potential overheating issues.
No complaints with this item. Supplied with everything needed to replace the Nintendo Switch card reader. Easy to do. I’ve never changed one before so took my time. Took me about an hour to get it swapped and all put back together and working. Five Star Item.
Having successfully replaced a faulty card reader I can say with surety that everything’s in this kit that you need. Before working on the Switch, I watched a video on the process, which means I only removed the necessary screws and not all of them, as I would have done. Once fitted, I tested the reader before refitting the heatsink. Worked fine.
J’ai pus rparer le lecteur de ma Switch qui ne marchait plus depuis longtemps. Le kit est parfait et il contient tous les outils ncessaires. Faites juste bien attention bien connecter le lecteur la Switch. Je le recommande 100% !

Quality doesn’t look quite as good as the one that came out
Be super careful though I damaged a ribbon for the rail putting it back together which created another job and it probably would have been cheaper just to get it repaired properly
Had to buy some thermal paste as well
Having tools too was a bonus though
If you’re handy with this kind of stuff it should be ok
Make sure you remember which screws go where !!!
