Not being a DC or Marvel fan I took a chance on this. Really enjoyed it overall. More of a police/mob series than anything with some horror thrown in. Only thing that annoyed me was certain characters keeping coming back to life and changing their personalities – but it’s hardly a run of the mill detective show. More of Wayne would have been good. 4.5
OMG if u want an addictive tv show buy this set the only problem season 5 feels like a totaly different show but apart from that i just binged watched the entire show in under 3 weeks very good show whilst in lockdown.
The acting and scripts are worth 5 stars and that would have been my rating if the discs had been in perfect condition. Some discs were slightly scratched possibly from where they were slid into the cardboard cases. One of the discs froze half way through an episode meaning I had to re-start and skip the spot. This problem happened when tried on two different machines. Otherwise I enjoyed Gotham very much.
Class Origin story. Not just Batman and also Catwoman, Penguin, The Riddler, Poison Ivy, Jim Gordon and THE JOKER…etc……Also the Falcone Mafia..and excellect supporting characters that reappear in other episodes, that are not, one dimensional or cannon fodder.
Don’t hesitate and miss out.
A must for any one whom enjoys DC and Batman.

i was delighted with this blu ray box set.even though i have not had a chance to look at it yet i am sure all the discs and picture quality on all the episodes and special features will be fine.i love buying from amazon.
