Our story…

How GUMBELLS started ….By Kris (Founder, London UK)

The story started way back 25 years ago. I would watch my mother pulling faces in the mirror and over pronouncing A,E,I,O,U. To be honest, at first I thought she was going crazy. Fast forward 25years, I realise I was the crazy one!

After getting married, having kids and gaining one too many pounds (weight) and no longer going to the gym I decided enough was enough and made it my goal to lose the weight. However after losing 26lbs, my face still remained puffy. I spent 3 years researching and trying every one of the limited tools out there to improve my facial look.

I tried the a vey popular ball you chew to exercise your facial muscles, but was not keen on this product at all. Saliva would remain on the product which I found very unhygienic. I also felt it wasn’t hitting the correct facial muscles and maybe was even pushing out the front teeth (that’s the last thing I wanted!). I also tried some large tabs that broke in a week and only seemed to slightly work the masseter muscle and nothing else and are a choking hazard.

I knew that the solution would have had to be something that was natural to use, something that provided resistance to as many as possible of the 57 facial muscles. Working with teams in 3 countries, the first version of our jawline hard gum was formed. GUMBELLS is our 3rd generation of gum, developed specifically for facial fitness and Jawline shaping.

resistance 12 times more than normal chewing gum and 2.5 times bigger Even if you chew 4 pieces of gum in one go, this is just increasing the quantity not resistance. Consuming this much Aspartame and other cheap fillers is not recommended especially not 4 pieces and 4-5 times a week. different resistances, however the harder is not always better other wise we would just chew rocks. different levels all focused on the front teeth

Great product if you’re looking for a tough chewing gum to develop jaw strength.

Flavour is pleasant but most importantly the gum is really tough. Takes a couple of minutes to soften but even then it’s still very tough to chew – which is exactly what you want if you’re buying this.

If you’re interested in the science of this have a look at James Nestor’s bestseller breath. He goes into the science of breath but also how jaw shape and size influences our ability to breathe, the good news is data suggests Jaw strength and bone density can still be increased by adults well into their 70’s (which is an anomaly compared to elsewhere in the body at that age).

Lastly listen to your body when doing this and be careful not to overdo it. TMJ sounds like a miserable condition to have. Chew as evenly as you can across the teeth so as not to over develop one side of the mouth. Slow and steady wins the race (like all resistance/strength training).

Gives your jaw, a good workout. I’ve gone from eating unhealthy and drinking way too much to strict diet, only water and using these.
I’ve noticed results within 2 weeks of chewing
