I’ve taken this backpack on several runs through the British countryside. The breathability is notable, and despite sweating, it sits comfortably. The storage is surprisingly good. While I rarely need to carry a coat, the mesh compartment and pocket distribution hold essentials securely. The soft flasks have become handy. However, being adjustable for varied body sizes is its major advantage. While the reflective elements give an extra touch of security duringduskruns.

This is everything a long-distance runner or indeed short distance hiker would need in a backpack. It comes with two soft bottles that fit in their own front pockets to help keep you hydrated. There is a larger zipped rear pocket but because of the thinness of the material it is best for softer items like a thin top which you may want to wrap around your phone or keys if you take them. It is very light and comfortable once adjusted so good for those who run light and once fitted you barely notice it. Reasonably priced at around thirty pounds too.

After enough adjustments you can get the backpack to fit snug to your body. Although will takes some trial and error the first time to stop stuff jiggling around.

The bottles included are more like pouches but they’re good enough and slide into the wallets fine. The bottle tops are a bit to release system that work great. Easy to drink from and doesn’t leak. One thing to note is the silicone packs inside the pouches on your first use. Make sure to remove these!

Overall, recommend this backpack on longer runs. Not worth the hassle if just a shorter daily run but for longer distance, recommend.

I got this without reading it and thought it was a camel pack but I’m in love with this vest as it is extremely lightwight whilst carrying two easy to drink from 500ml containers. It’s ideal for hot weather and I’m really happy that I made the mistake of getting this.

It’s nicely made and pretty well thought out.
You get two soft water bottles with it too which is nice. Not sure how easy these would be to use when running but will see once I’m able to run far enough to use this properly.
You get lots of places to store gels and keys and things that you would need for an extended run or hike but you would struggle to pack a coat in here so it’s not for serious hikes.
I do find it a little tight and not very easily adjustable but it still fits and does the job it’s supposed to do well.

I was a little surprised when I opened this package, I thought that you got 2x 500ml bottles, I didn’t realise they are pouches. That said, they to take up less room, especially as you take on the fluid, and the “bite to release” system works well.

I found it a bit hard to get the right fit and had to keep readjusting to get it to sit properly and tight enough not to bounce as I ran.

Quality wise, it feels a bit thin, but all of the stitching seems strong and I suppose it helps to keep you cool? I would definitely take this out on a longer ride/ run to stay hydrated, but the faff of getting it all sorted and then cleaning the bottles etc makes it a bit overkill for shorter activities where a handheld bottle would likely suffice.

Little tip: each “bottle” has a silicon packing pouch to absorb moisture in transit… I missed them on the first use and luckily noticed them floating in the bottle before drinking.

4.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable to wear, adds visibility and useful.

This is a good size and is comfortable to wear with minimal adjustments. The bottles are lightweight and reduce down for packing when empty. This isn’t the highest quality but I’m very happy it will be a good aid on a run once a week

So, I already have an Utobest running vest which I really like, so thought I’d trybthis one which looked very similar. I took it on a 5 mile Canicross run with my GSD to test it.
Things I liked: I love the colour (black with bright yellow highlights) and the way the brand name isn’t emblazoned across it. I also really loved the elasticated ‘cargo strapping’ on the outside of the pack, this is so useful to stuff your waterproof into without using up any valuable space in the inner part of the pack. My Utobest vest doesn’t have this and I feel this is a really great feature to have.
Things I didn’t like: The fabric is thin. At first I didn’t mind and thought it’s ideal for summer running. However, I like to keep my phone in one of the front pockets ( the one you’re meant to keep one of the water bottles in) when I’m running, and when I pulled it out mid run to do some filming, my phone screen was all wet from my sweat, which was gross, and is because the fabric is so thin.
The other thing I don’t like is that there is only 1 zip up pocket, and it is positioned a bit too low down. There ARE lots of pockets but you can’t zip them closed, so of no use to me at all when I’m running like a lunatic attached to my mad beast! I put my car key fob and my house keys in this zip up pocket, and they dug a bit into the underside of my boob and ribcage, so I had to readjust them a few times. It’s a shame there aren’t a couple of zippable pockets further up by the shoulders.
It does depend on what you want to do and where you want to put stuff, for me, I need the main backpack to carry all my dog’s water, my phone goes on the front of me for easy access, and then my keys, car fob and poo bags need to be zipped securely so they’re safe and also not jingling around, which drives me bonkers.
I will be sticking with my Utobest running vest, but I do love the elasticated cargo straps on the back of this one.

This running vest is a good size and I can fit all my essentials in the back. The 500ml water bottles fold up very small so will be great for hiking trips. I like the reflectiveness as enjoy running at night in the countryside. Strap buckles are on the flimsy side however I like that the positions of them can be changed. Good zipped pocket and pockets with toggle closures however not sure what I’ll use the smaller pockets without zips or toggles for out of fear of something falling out.
