My little one loves this activity cube, each face has lots of different activities on it and buttons to press. It makes lots of noise and she likes to play the keyboard/piano keys and turn the cogs and gears. Plus it comes with little shapes that slot into the corresponding shape holes in the cube. It also opens up for you to store those small parts in so handy for storage and not losing any of the pieces. Well packaged in a brightly coloured box that is very eye catching. For some reason it’s called a ‘fancy cube’ on the box which is a little strange!
although i got this toy for my little one i couldn’t wait to use it myself comes really well packed with the shapes inside the lid in separate plastic bags for each section.
the shapes are very strong and sturdy and i dont think i could break any of the pieces let alone my 17 month old. the shapes fit perfectly into their respective slots and will definitely keep the adults and toddlers occupied!
there is also a musical element on one of the faces which lights up and plays ‘do re mi’ along with other chimes/music although this does require 3 AA batteries which are not included however it does not impact the main aspect of the cube.
i would definitely recommend this for any child above 14 months from personal experience i feel they would make the most out of it.
This activity cube is fun, keeps children entertained and provides learning opportunities to develop maths skills and hand-eye coordination.

– the shapes, letters and vehicles are easy to post through the holes
– the lid pops open like a door to retrieve the shapes again
– the plastic feels strong and durable
– it has buttons that support cause and effect, they create basic sounds
– it has spinning parts too and a clock to introduce telling the time on a basic level
Cons
– the mirror is very small
– it is difficult to open the battery compartment inside, you need not only a thin head screwdriver, but the handle needs to be short. It it very fiddly.
Overall it is well worth the money, as most things providing this much learning and fun tend to cost more.
Easy for my little guy to find different ways to play with, it entertains him for a while on the floor so I can get some housework done, great toy to grow with!
