  Usage and WashingBefore use always rinse the water bottle and cap with cool water. After use always rinse in warm water and dish soap only. Do not use brushes or abrasives to scrub. Air dry thoroughly before storing and always store with cap off. Hand wash or use a dishwasher on a cool wash. EU Hydration Recommendations 1.6 litres (56oz) of fluid per day for women, 2 litres (64oz) of fluid per day for men on top of the water contained in the food you eat.

I recently purchased the Ion8 Kids Water Bottle, 350ml, for my 5-year-old to use at school, and I am extremely pleased with its quality. This bottle is leak-proof, which gives me peace of mind knowing that my child’s backpack won’t get wet. The one-finger open feature is perfect for little hands, making it easy for my child to open and close the bottle without any assistance. The flip cover and carry handle are additional convenient features that make it spill-free and easy to carry on-the-go.
I also appreciate that this water bottle is dishwasher safe, which makes cleaning a breeze. The fact that it is BPA-free is a huge plus for me, as I prioritize my child’s health and safety.

Lockable lid keeps drinking nozzle clean & safe from accidental spills. Fits knto coat pockets and car cup holders nicely. Feels nice and a good size to fit jnyo your hand and carry, or use the folding finger loop. Lost original orange one & the old style blue one is a good replacement. There is zn ipdated design available now but it’s not as pretty as these older ones.
My son has been through numerous water bottles over the course of the previous school year and each one had faults, including leaking! But this one is different, we’ve had no leaks, it’s sturdy with a carrying handle and it’s easy to wash. It is a free flow bottle (no straw) so it does come out quickly, maybe not good for those with smaller children but it is definitely a winner for us. It is only small, around 400ml/12oz, so my son does have to top up his water bottle throughout the course of the day but that isn’t an issue. I also like that there is a QR barcode on the bottle, which means when you’re ready for a new one, scan and it sends you straight to the page you need. Overall I’m very pleased so far.
Ordered this water bottle as my daughter had one and it was brilliant.ordered sonic blue but a black one came instead.
Beware that the picture colour and the description colour are completely different.
Before buying this I felt like I was averaging a new water bottle every week (for various reasons – spout getting chewed, leaking, not user friendly, parts hard to clean) and am happy to say have had none of these problems with the ion8 – not the cheapest bottle to buy, but definitely the best value for money. Easy to clean, survives being dropped (a lot!) on the way to school and still looks as good as new!
Had this for a while and it’s lasted well except the outer film that makes the bottle look frosted (not sure what else to call this) has come away. So not a 5* from me, but my child is fairly wild and it’s still intact so Deffo worth the 4 star.

* I love the fact that it does NOT have a strow which requires more step of cleaning. So I am happy!

I have bought several of these, and they are great – lovely colours, compact and lightweight. However, the ‘holder’ is made of plastic, and seems to be attached to and by plastic, and breaks very easily. If these parts were made of metal, the design would be much better.
This relies on a small seal in the lid. If removed water will gush out, you may as well carry a tumbler around.
My son fiddles with it and repeatedly removes it. You can replace them but they’re not cheap so we’ve given up on it sadly as otherwise was great.
