–Thinking About “Constant 1.5V Output”
During a long time, there has been a tangled question – The advantages of disposable and rechargeable batteries incompatible.
Some rechargeable batteries’ voltage always drops gradually over time. When the voltage is not high enough to wake the device, a new annoyance arises – the rechargeable battery always seem to fail to achieve the ideal battery life.
The key to solving this problem is how to keep the voltage of the rechargeable battery at a constant level.
Kratax new generation of 1.5V constant voltage output AAA rechargeable batteries is here. Equipped with short-circuit protection, overcharge protection, constant voltage control circuit, etc. – the Kratax laboratory has once again defined the smart chip technology in the battery field
A great bunch of rechargeable batteries, long lasting, easy to use, easy to charge, charge very quickly, made to last a very long time, does not heat up, lightweight, great quantity and quality. Cheap and cheerful, would definitely recommend.
product arrived in time. The charger is excellent and batteries charge quickly.
One set of 4 batteries on flash lasted about 160 shots. May be I could have taken a few more but the red light on flash came on so I decided to change batteries. All in all 1.5v is the correct battery for the flash.
The charger and batteries arrived within 24hrs as promised. I had thought the batteries came fully charged but that is not the case. To check everything was working I plugged a set of 4 batteries into the charger. There was no mention in the leaflet about the display charge level scrolling up and then starting again at the bottom. From the leaflet I assumed it would be a static display that updated when the charge level got greater. The bars eventually became static as shown in the leaflet. Just a bit confusing. Possibly due to the fact it was made in China.
A nice lightweight/compact, easy to read, portable lithium battery charger with 4 3500mwh AA batteries included which give enough “oomph” for any electrical device you may need.
I am able to charge these on the go with my powerbank as it has a good output which is an added bonus.
Good price, good quality unit, good batteries, I am happy.
Hope this helps …….
These are not your average rechargeable batteries.
These are high capacity (3500mWh) lithium-ion batteries that deliver a steady 1.5v
For reference, the highest capacity NiMh batteries I have is about 2700mAh and deliver a steady 1.2v.
This is the lithium ion difference. Note that the included Kratax charger can only be used to charge same-brand AA or AAA Li-ion batteries (ie NOT for other NiMh rechargeable batteries), and plug into a USB-C connection (up to 5v, 2a). Four AA batteries are included. The charger also displays remaining charge in each battery on its backlit screen.
Review is based on my most power-hungry AA battery need (my Oculus Quest controllers), and so far this has done an excellent job retaining charge and keeping the controllers receptive.
A few years back, I got a programmable robot vehicle, works with scratch and should support STEM activities. Unfortunately it was a bit of a damp squib, because the speed that the vehicle moved, and the positions it took depended on the power/voltage being supplied by the AA batteries it ran on, because there was no power regulation on board. Programming it at 9am with one set of new batteries would require different values at 10am, or if other batteries were used. Very frustrating.
With these Kratax batteries though the power level appears to be pretty constant (and much better at holding voltage under load than a standard AA), such that the robot is turning cartwheels rather than a lack-lustre rotation. At the start of a programming session the robot is performing the same motions as it does at the end.
The charger is easy to use, pretty much plug and play.
The only disappointment I have at the moment is I couldn’t see an option to buy the batteries without the charger.
The Kratax LCD Charger is supplied with 3500mAh rechargeable batteries, which are the largest capacity batteries I’ve tried by a fair margin.
The charger itself can take AA, AAA or a combination of both and uses a standard USB C socket to take in power though it’s worth noting it can only use 5v 2A even if you use a more powerful adapter. When in use you get a useful visualisation of the charge level of each connected battery.
The charger is handy to have about but pairing it with high-capacity lithium-ion batteries gets closer to justifying the cost of the whole package.
The batteries came partially charged, which is appreciated as lithium-ion batteries shouldn’t be stored drained to support battery health. I was able to top off the charge and am currently using them in controllers and they’re still going strong. No complaints but the value could be better.
If you’re in the same boat as me, navigating the world of rechargeable batteries can be a bit of a roller coaster. But let me tell you, the Kratax Rechargeable Battery AA with LCD Charger has turned the ride into a smooth and thrilling adventure.
My primary gig for these powerhouses? Oculus Quest 2 controllers. When I tell you they’ve breathed new life into my virtual reality escapades, I’m not kidding. The 1.5V Lithium AA Battery packs a whopping 3500mWh punch, and with a remarkable 1600 cycles in their back pocket, these batteries are in it for the long haul.
Charging them up? A breeze. The LCD charger is like your personal battery butler, giving you the lowdown on the charging process. And the max 3A discharge? It ensures that when you’re in the heat of action, these batteries won’t back down.
From powering my VR adventures to tackling tasks around the house, these Kratax batteries have shown their versatility. They’re like the Swiss Army knife of battery power, whether it’s for Blink Cameras, Xbox Gaming Pads, RC Cars, or whatever else you throw at them.
My Oculus Quest 2 controllers have found their match in these batteries. The reliable power delivery keeps me immersed in my VR world without the constant nagging of low battery warnings. They’ve truly elevated my gaming experience, and I couldn’t be happier.

Disclaimer: These batteries have found their forever home in my VR adventures
The thing I like about this the most, is that it just works, and works well.
I like how well the screen shows when batteries are charging, and I also really like the fact that it will charge them all together, all at the same time, and, the fact that when I take the first 2 batteries out, the “3rd & 4th” batteries, keep charging, I don’t have to move them to positions “1 & 2”, so I don’t have to mess about which I really like.
The build quality of the charger itself feels good, and the batteries have a decent solid feel, the wraps are nice and clean, well done, and they produce a very good, solid power flow.
All in all, this is a great battery charger and batteries in my opinion.
Good quality battery charger with LCD display and 4 decent AA lithium ion batteries rated at 2333mAh which is decent capacity. The charger will fit both AA and AAA rechargeable batteries. The set seems good quality but at around 32 (with the current discount at time of review) I do feel it’s a little expensive for what it is. Nevertheless it’s a good item that works well.
