Just bear in mind because they fold there is no hard bottom to the bag which will reduce their stability and make the bag sag.
But for the purpose we bought them for it works.
When fully extended the bag is fine, but when bag is folded up into small carry bag, the exterior zip could have been fitted the other way around so that it opens at the top and therefore it would be easier to put things into when in the small holdall configuration, hence also making better use of space if taking it in your main suitcase. Currently the zip opens towards the bottom.
I love how this bag folds away small and neatly after use, this is a big plus point. Although it doesn’t have a metal bar to pull along, the straps on the bag are extremely strong and sturdy! Zippers work well and stitching in bag is excellent quality. I was able to carry 24kg in the holdall and it didn’t stating at all under the weight. You can pack an abundance of items into the bag if packed well.
So all in all, very well made and such a reasonable price for the quality. Thank you, oh and ps. delivery was super quick and item was packaged so well (heavy rainfall), so it was popped in a plastic bag by Amazon, great job guys, loved that extra touch for peace of mind! Fantastic job from start to finish. 5*
This is a great bag for the price – BUT – the wheels roll inside as well as outside the bag – so if you rolled through mud or worse it would get on your clothes. We solved this by using plastic bags for all the packed clothes and strict instructions to watch where it is being rolled. It is a cheap bag which has stood up to the harsh use of two school camping trips, it folds up lovely and small, and I do not regret buying it at all.
Does the job at a great price. Lots of space but bag is thin and doesn’t have internal pockets. Overall great value for the price however would look at spending a bit more for future.
Bags seem sturdy an suited for lots of travelling about. Light compact an plenty of room inside for holiday clothes. Bought these in place of our large solid suitcases as back packing a these fit the bill. Fold down to handbag size to store. Great price quick delivery an the wheels make them say to use.
Would definitely recommend.
I used this for a UK-AUS trip in October, it’s practical and lightweight and seemed to hold up well (18kg outbound 21kg return) – they don’t have any rigid base though, I will certainly use again but am buying a case today for a cruise as holdall profiles aren’t great for formal wea
I have bought it as I need a soft sided bag for a safari holiday . The wheels seem strong but I can’t tell as yet how the bag will travel in the hold of a plane. Hence only 4 stars
Hold-all exactly as described, quick delivery as well. Needed for a quick trip abroad. Nice bag but needs stronger floor as arrived on the conveyor in Spain with holes in the base where it was obviously rubbing during transit.
Other wise a good buy and good value for money.
I needed a bag with soft sides. This is good because it has wheels as well! It won’t last for many trips as the corners have already started to show signs of wear – but for the price, what do you expect? I am pleased with i
Bought this for my daughter’s trip. Perfect size for 1 week of daily change of clothes and shoes. Would be nice to have a hard base in the bottom of bag to keep it straight. If the bag is not full enough…it’s difficult to wheel (does not keep shape). Otherwise….great bag.
Because this travel bag was quite inexpensive, I thought it would be flimsy. I was so wrong!! It is a sturdy travel bag that holds a lot, and I have used it several times already. When not in use, it is very simple to fold up for convenient storage. The wheels make it easy to transport when full. Both my daughter (5’11”) and I (5’6″) were able to pull it using the sturdy handle without having to bend over uncomfortably whilst doing so. I can highly recommend this travel bag if you are looking for something sturdy that doesn’t take up a lot of space when it’s not in use. As a frequent traveler, I am really happy with my decision to purchase this item!
Bought this for my son who was travelling to Spain for 10 months. Needed something which wouldn’t take up much storage space in his room. This bag is large pull along with wheels and folds down to a small size. Slightly flimsy so wouldn’t want to put in too many aircraft holds but did the job brilliantly in this case
I used this for a couple of weekend trips. It’s a lovely, big, strong, well-made bag with loads of room. It could do with compartments as everything sinks in a half-packed bag. Having “soft” pull handles rather than rigid makes it a bit awkward to pull any distance . I would, however, recommend it, especially if travelling mainly by car.
Bought one of these as I don’t tend to pack light and seeing it had wheel thought I’d give it a try, I was not disappointed! I ended up buying another one. Only used them in one trip and all is well so far. They hold a lot and fold up great taking up very little space in storage .
As ever one must always consider the price when reviewing this and the high star rating is largely reliant upon the fact that this is a cheap bag. It’s not a Samsonite or similar in build quality (although I have to say, that I’ve not always had perfect success despite the high cost) but it is good for the money.
The main reason for this is of course the fact that it stows away into a small format and can be carried either in a backpack or held like a handbag. It also means you can stow it away at home and not lose too much space which, in many houses is a premium.
I use this bag – and similar – as I work overseas. I tend to take stuff out with me to my apartment from the UK but on the way home on leave I don’t want hold baggage as this makes the miserable experience of flying even more so. So I take one rucksack as carry on baggage with this inside of it. Happy days.
It’s well made for the money but don’t expect to be passing this on to your grandchildren as an heirloom item. I’ve been through three similar bags in the last two years as they wear out. What tend to happen is that when packed full because of the less ridgid construction the bottom corners tend to drag on concrete and wear through. If you can avoid this then you won’t have this problem but if you do the Heathrow – Heathrow Express – Underground – Train thing then it’s inevitable.
In use you can pack it with far more than you can carry or indeed put into the hold without shelling out more hard earned wedge to the airlines. In some ways this is a problem because you need it to be packed tight to give it a bit of stiffness when dragging it along on the wheels. Not a problem if you are packing loads of go-ashores for a debauched week in the sun but less so if you have a few small heavy items to tote around.
Overall this is good value for money. It does the job, will last long enough to justify the cost and is easily carried when packed down.
