Was bought to build a raised bed for indoor no till organic growing and having worked with this material a lot in a previous job I knew the standard thickness available in most builders merchants can stretch over time if containing a lot of soil.
This weed membrane is considerably thicker at 105 GSM and is perfect for the 400 litre raised bed I have built, no stretching at all and has a good tight weave so I am confident it will last for years.

Bought this for garden at holiday home to obviously control weeds and then to cover with slate chippings for low maintenance. Good quality, decent price and arrived on time no problems. I’m sure it will help tremendously.
Weed and moss covered grass removed from a shaded area of garden. Used this product as a weed control and covered in decorative gravel. Feels strong and pegs are very handy to keep it down in windy conditions till gravel arrived next day
I’ve used this product for various purposes including covering a digged over area of soil to cover with stones, and attached it to garden fencing to prevent weeds coming through from next door. The product itself it fantastic and incredibly long lasting, I’ll be purchasing more for my new garden soon as the price is also very good.

As you can see here I’ve used it around my Roses before I put purple slate over the top.
It works well, and is easy to cut..
Time will tell if it has longevity, but its certainly thick, and you don’t need to double up..
Even if you wanted to the amount you receive in the packet would make it easy to do so as you receive quite alot.
I fully recommend this, and I’m glad I chose this one.

I didn’t want to continue my bi-monthly weed pulling routine, so I bought this and it’s going well so far. A few naughty weeds had peeped through the edges, but I think this is where I had overlaped the membrane. Otherwise, it’s nice and thick material and easy to lay. To finish off with a decorative effect. I used some bark to cover the top of the membrane.
Good strong product two sheets that are very large and will cover huge amount of space with green guide line stripes if you want to use as a rows of flowers I researched other manufacturers and a popular one had bad reviews so I choose this next week it will be lined and large stones spread across I have another sheet to do another area too and I will come back and review the stages of use but this is definitely stronger and thicker than any one I have seen I like the fact it is a massive sheet as you get the width that I want to go up the side of the fence to prevent my neighbours Ivy coming through with a roll the width is always narrow so I am very much satisfied that this is the best quality I have chosen steel pegs to use a club hammer and fix it secure
Previously I had used the thinner, more fabric like, membranes in my garden. I found those far too lightweight, blowing around a lot when laying them and harden to get where you want them. These ones are more heavy duty and lie down more easily when dragging into the right spot etc. They also seem like they will be a stronger barrier for the weeds to overcome and should last longer. The green lines printed on them really help for aligning the membrane against a straight edge like a fence or wall. Previously, with an all black membrane this had been quite difficult as you ended up having it wonky and then cutting it wonky and then the next use is hampered…
I used this for the membrane under some raised decking that extends some decking I did a few years previously with the thinner membrane stuff. On that one I had to weigh it down with gravel all over but with this one, just a few staples and I didn’t bother with the gravel.
When comparing the construction of this garden ground sheet to other commercially available weed liners for garden, I was impressed with what I saw. It is heavy duty and durable and I expect that it will stand up to the elements for a long time. It was easy to install and would recommend hot cutting procedure as prescribed by the seller. With my previous experiences, I was worried about water running off of it and after a number of heavy rains; I can say that this never happened. I am looking forward to a weed free future in my front yard, and finally can avoid those laborious weed pulling weekends.
Yes do not forget to add a few inches of mulching layer over this weed membrane just to add a bit of extra protection against tough weeds popping out.
