Coming up from a 1080 monitor this a treat for the eyes, I find this is totally adequate in a well lit room not yet seen it in very bright sunlight. Colours seem fine without being overly garish, not played with the settings as yet as haven’t needed to but the menus are easy to find with the joystick on the bottom side of the monitor, double click and your in.
I watched someone playing league of legends and company of hero’s on this and there was no ghosting to be seen so for a mid range monitor I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI got this as a replacement for my old predator monitor that was showing signs of old age.

    – it’s not as bright. & took quite a bit to get the colour balanced & looking right. (compared to the Predator)
    – Gaming on this is fine & seems to be exactly as advertised 164+htz 1ms GTG
    – GSync & FreeSync work as expected!

The hidden GEM when using this on my Mac! see image..
This monitor can do 4K.. it’s not a clear 4k.. but if you wanted a cheap way of doubling your screen realestate this is the monitor for you.. the Mac obviously only gives you 60htz.
but this is not an issue.

    Very much recommended!

The colours my not be as vibrant but the predator monitor of mine cost nearly 800 at the time..
this is at the time 244
for the price & what you get!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought 2 of these monitors when they were on sale and so glad I did. I have recently upgraded my PC to play Starfield and AW2. These monitors provide superior quality and I love the sleek design, I love that they can be adjusted to the right heights (so with 2 monitors side by side they can easily be matched).

The colours on this screen are amazing, 165 Hz just in windows is awesome and silky smooth. Gaming playing driving and flight sims as well as cyberpunk look amazing. Screen was so good i had to buy a second one

Best purchase I’ve made for my setup so far, at first I was unsure whether this would live up to its expectations and it sure does!

Also love the small cable management feature at the back , and also worth noting it’s height adjustable and can rotate so for the price you are definitely getting more than what you pay for plus the quality is great.

If you are looking for a 1440p monitor on a budget, then this is a must!

It’s LG, you know its going to be built really well.
The 1440p screen is great in the 27inch looks really sharp and image pops, no need for 4k in a 27inch.
The 165hrtz refresh screen means you can really utilise those fps created by the gpu, games are so smooth .
The stand is firm and sturdy with great rotation and tilt.

    Really good monitor.

he colours and overall display is amazing. very crisp and an amazing menu. for me the brightness was an issue as i’m in a very bright environment with sunlight, and compared to my older monitor it was noticeable. However, for many this may not be an issue. If you’re using this in area where there isn’t light beaming through, i really do recommend this monitor, low latency and 1440p 120hz worked for my playstation. just the monitor didn’t suit me.

Did alot of research before buying this, I was looking for a cheap monitor that would run 120hz , IPS panel and 1440p. Primarily used for COD and Fifa, had no issues and enjoying it. Plenty of bang for your buck, had it around 3 weeks now and its worked well. Doesn’t swivel which is a small bug bear but that can be fixed using a monitor arm if needed.

If looking for a good monitor at a good price, this is the boy. I paid 220 and got what I needed as I am a casual gamer.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersDid few days of intense research and review readings of all different 27′ 1440p 144hz+ monitors.
Ended up on this or GL850 for me.

27GR75Q is new “budget” model so proper review websites don’t have any info on them yet, but I took a gamble.

Went with 27GR75Q instead of GL850 due to the panel.
Newer ones are Nano IPS where colors tend to be oversaturated and not beneficial for gaming (that work on sRGB still), causing a lot of eye strain.

GR75Q has been fantastic to me so far. Colours and brightness are perfect (a bit too bright to me but that can be turned down, which is funny seeing a couple of people complaining about brightness but I guess I don’t play in a greenhouse).

LG settings menu is fantastic, you can adjust almost everything without any issues.

Build quality is really nice, the only weird thing is that my monitor plastic bezels’ gap are different, left side is nice and night with 1mm gap but right is a bit more open around 5mm. But you can’t see that, simply nitpicking for this price I wouldn’t really complain about such a thing as it probably varies from monitor to monitor on what you get.

It is not as heavy as I expected it to be, fairly light to be honest – holds on VESA arm with other monitor just fine.

No backlight bleed or backlight glow – which is a massive win over more expensive ones like GL850 where you get that a lot big time.

For the price I paid which was 220 at the time it was literally a steal for such monitor, in my opinion.

Unless the bigger expensive ones go down the price by another 100-150, look no further and buy this monitor as it is fantastic.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersThis is a great monitor especially at the sale price. It’s fast and is great for gaming. The response time set to its fastest setting is perfectly fine for sim racing. Text clarity is ok but if you’re coming from 1080p, it’s not a problem. With regards to the brightness mentioned in the other review, this monitor comes with SMART ENERGY SAVING mode enabled by default (either low or high, I can’t remember which it was), this turns down the brightness to conserve energy. You can turn this off and access the full 300nits of brightness that this monitor is advertised for, which makes it plenty bright. My panel has very acceptable levels of IPS glow with little to no bleed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great monitor for the price
