I bought it to photograph jewellery. I’m so impressed with it! The extra diffuser sheet to put over the lights is a great idea. I’ve been battling with a much larger box and 2 lights…. this is so compact and so much brighter!
When I first set it up I did think I had made a mistake, however, my son & I started taking photos & my son even tried , as he put it, a special effect!

It does the job with the built-in light but a usb charger, or better, a power bank is also needed.
Folded, the light-box and backdrops fit into a non-woven fabric bag. Assembly is easy enough though some of the velco fastening doesn’t hold as well as I would like and sometimes sticks where I don’t want it to stick!
I need to do a bit more experimentation with the light source to make it more diffuse. Even with the supplier diffuser, there were noticeable reflections.
* The rotary knob on the dimmer switched the LED’s on and off but had no dimming ability: the LED’s remained uniformly bright.
The seller apologised for an IT glitch which stopped them replying immediately, and replaced the dimmer with one that works fine.
Its great product to use. It does what it says and it is very handy for small space as it is collapsible and it comes with different colour backdrops too ,allowing us to make great quality images.
To take photos for online selling. Great price for a starter piece. Great customer service with email support to remind you what should be included and check it’s there. Comes with carry bag so you can kept all components together and away from mucky paws and hands. Really pleased
Very good quality images just being taken with my phone after a couple of minutes fiddling around with the light and backgrounds. I didn’t have access to a forward lamp so took the photos using the hatch at the top but would image that using a bright white lamp would come out with same result from front. But irritating the LED strip can’t be moved much but it is far better than just using a painting lamp.
Really good for lighting & its intended purpose
Bought for photographing shoes to sell online but it’s far too small. Women’s shoes fit but can see edges of the box so if you’re wanting to sell shoes get the bigger size than 30×30
This product is very compact and easy to assemble. I particularly like this can be powered by a potable charger. it save me time from thinking where to get a socket or extension I can basically setup anywhere for a quick snap shot on product.
It comes with a few background which works quite well.
Overall I think this is very good and would definitely recommend this if you need to take photo on small to medium size product or model.
There are a few different light boxes around and, once the price dropped enough on this one, I decided to take the plunge. Very simple to use and enough brightness/diffuser difference to suit every need.
The box is amazing and has been great to use since I got it.
There was a problem with it and so I contacted them and the service was phenomenal, great response time and great attitude and ease. And being sent a new one
Use this for some small items photo shoots and it’s very hard to control the proper lighting. Box is only suitable for very small items. Not sure if everyone gets the background band and not exactly in the middle. Using background are bit tricky
Sturdy, easy to assemble and store. This is an upgrade on a little cheap one I was using. This is a really useful size, and fits so many more of my handmade projects in.
You can adjust the lighting, making it darker or brighter, by using the switch on the flex, but without having to touch ir adjust the box. It has insetd that are Matt or shiny, to suit your needs. All in all, a great light box and doesn’t cost the earth!

I have had a few of these portable photo boxes over the past 5yr or so and while they have been good they soon lost shape or cakes broke. I was expecting a similar quality with this box given the price.
I am absolutely amazed with the build quality of this item. It’s is very thick and has a good thick canvas outer coating with a fully reflective interior, which when taking photis from the front visa the hatch reflects light back onto the product.
I’ve always struggled to get good shots from my 3d printed items but wow I am so impressed with how good my display images look just of my mobile.
I highly recommend this item, I got a small one as my product line are all the same size.
WARNING! If you have cats (we have) then remember to keep the light box away from them when it is not in use, otherwise they will endeavor to call it home. Also, when you are using the light box ensure the cats are out of the room, otherwise they will try help you with your photo session.
Works well , sturdy and well designed however are limited to very small objects as the backgrounds only go on back and bottom so the sides show silver if the item is wide , not like the image they show where the rocking horse where the entire background shows white , works great on things like mugs , might be that Im just doing it wrong or need a bigger one
