Great dash cam, excellent image quality with on phone view. Intuitive app and easy to save clips. Once installed you’ll only ever have to download if you have an incident well designed thought-out and manufactured.

As far as cheap dashcams go, you could do a lot worse than this simple and convenient unit.

It’s very basic, but with a lot of features hidden in the background that don’t distract you.
Mounting is dead simple with a slide-release latch that means you can very easily take the camera off if necessary.
It has Wifi AND GPS built in so you can track your journeys. All control is done via the app. The display only shows vital information such as recording duration and wifi status. Everything else is done via the app which makes the unit very compact.
Video quality is superb for such a compact camera. Easy swivel for the lens means you can get the view perfect using your phone as a viewfinder.
Voice controls also work surprisingly well meaning you can tell it to lock the video or to take a photo without having to take your hands off the wheel.
For a simple, cheap but REALLY good dashcam, this is excellent.

Image quality is not best but is good especially in day light. Colors are a little interesting too.
In the video I detailed more.
The app works well, sometimes gets stuck like seen in the video.
It is small and compact, doesn’t get in the way. Cable is long enough, though I don’t really like the red light of the cigarette lighter especially while driving at night.
Camera can be adjusted up and down not sideways.

Good image quality, fast load time. Only annoying thing is it makes a noise every time it boots up and says “wifi on”

Can’t see how to turn this off

I’ve had a fair share of some bad dashcams but this camera from LINGDU saved me a lot of money and it is perfect!

First of all this is a small camera that hides nicely behind my mirror and once you hide all the cables around the trim, you barely ever notice it is there.
This camera has a really good video quality and I am super impressed how good it is both during the day and at nighttime. I actually managed to record some stuff and play it back to my friend and now she’s going to get one as the quality is so good.

This camera has a wifi feature so you can easily access all the footage directly from your phone. It is easy to set up and you can also control it with voice commands. All of this at a super low price !

5 out 5 stars highly recommended. All I need now is to get the rear view attachment. Perfect!

This dashcam is a great addition to my vehicle. Its compact 2K resolution, GPS tracking, and Parking Monitor feature have proven invaluable for my daily commutes. Night vision impresses even in low-light conditions, and the wide-angle lens ensures a comprehensive view. The app control adds a layer of convenience, and installation was a breeze with clear instructions. A reliable and efficient dash camera that I highly recommend for enhanced road safety.

I’m very impressed with this dashcam and it deserves a solid 5-star review for its exceptional features and performance.

The Super HD 2K resolution in the front camera provides incredibly clear details of license plates and road signs. This high resolution could be a lifesaver in case of incidents on the road.

The LINGDU app is also great, allowing me to view and manage my dashcam recordings in real-time on both iOS and Android devices. The built-in GPS helps accurately track my driving route, which is handy for many reasons, including insurance claims.

The voice control feature is incredibly convenient, letting me control the dashcam with simple English voice commands while keeping my hands on the steering wheel. Tasks like taking pictures, locking videos, and managing settings have never been easier. The 0.96″ LCD screen is informative without being distracting, and the voice guidance feature adds another layer of usability.

The dashcam’s performance in low-light conditions is outstanding – it captures clear images at night.

The 24-hour parking surveillance, time-lapse recording, and collision detection features are invaluable. Knowing that the dashcam is actively monitoring my car gives me peace of mind, and the ability to capture incidents automatically is a crucial safety feature.

In conclusion, the LINGDU D100 dashcam is a great choice for anyone seeking a reliable and feature-packed dashboard camera. Its exceptional video quality, user-friendly app, voice control, and advanced features make it a must-have for road safety and peace of mind. I highly recommend it, and it absolutely deserves a 5-star rating.

The main plus point of the camera for me so far is the compact size, as I don’t like having a big bulky object on the windscreen – which some I’ve tried in the past have been. This is very discreet and almost unnoticeable when driving.
The quality of the footage is more than good enough for its purpose and it’s very simple to connect the camera to your phone through the app.
The voice activation is a bit glitchy and it certainly doesn’t love an accent.
For the price it’s a great little dash cam.

The dashcam was quite is to fit on the windscreen and hide the cables in the roof and door panels and the app setup was straightforward.

The device has a 2K video recording which I’m not really sure if that’s accurate because the image appears to be slightly pixelated (especially during the night). It’s equipped with voice control which is great when it works. If you have your radio on or your windows open the dashcam will not detect your voice and there is no other way to “lock the video”. It works great when there are no noises inside the cabin but otherwise, you will struggle to get it to work.

The camera has a built-in GPS which is great (tracks your speed and location) however while using the app I couldn’t find a map or location track options. As you can see in the uploaded photos I had issues with the app (trying to download video events and photos). It worked great the first couple of times but then it was just loading forever. I had to remove the memory card and connect it to my computer.

There is also a small screen in front showing the status of the camera.
The dashcam comes without a micro SD card but with all the required cables and cable clips. Overall it’s a good product the price just be aware of the image quality and app issues (hopefully an update will fix them soon).

4.0 out of 5 stars Mixed feelings

Decent enough camera and good build quality. Relatively easy to set up and simple enough instructions even if the booklet is small. The camera itself is not too big so it does not stick out on the dashboard, I have removed a star for not having an SD card included as I think that there should one in the package to let you use it right away as it doesn’t work without one and the price is maybe a tad high but it is a good product once you get it up and running

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe LINGDU D100 dashcam certainly raises the bar for compact car camera systems in its segment. Right off the bat, the 2K recording capabilities deliver impressive detail, capturing every nuance of the driving environment. Whether it’s discerning distant license plates or interpreting crucial road signs, the high-resolution video, backed by the reliable Novatek NT96562 chipset, consistently impresses. The seamless integration with the LINGDU APP over Wi-Fi is a thoughtful feature, making it effortless to access, manage, and share recordings on-the-go.

The built-in GPS and real-time playback on the LINGDU GPS player add another layer of utility, making this more than just a dashcam but a comprehensive vehicle management tool. At night, the superior vision technology combined with the f/1.8 aperture and 6 glass lenses ensures that even in low-light situations, the captured footage remains clear and detailed. And the Time-Lapse Recording, alongside collision detection, provides peace of mind when the vehicle is left unattended.

The voice control feature, however, feels like a mixed bag. While it does enhance hands-free operation, the rigidity in its voice command recognition can be slightly frustrating at times. It’s essential to remember specific phrases verbatim, which can feel a tad restrictive. For instance, the need to say “open recording” as opposed to the more intuitive “start recording” feels like a missed opportunity for a smoother user experience.

Despite this minor hiccup, the D100 remains a robust and reliable dashcam, packing a multitude of features in its compact frame. Its 0.96″ LCD display coupled with voice guidance ensures easy navigation and utilization, making it a solid choice for those looking for a high-performance dashcam without a hefty price tag.

Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! 🙂
