Great idea to utilise existing fitting / power supply to run this camera! Makes wiring in a non issue and works well to capture detailed images night or day. Seems amazing to me to have control of the camera, although it is a fairly normal feature these days, even at this low price.
Be sure to mount this inside or in a non reachable light fitting, or it’s likely to be stolen!
This is not a bad camera but I have had ones with better-quality picture. That being said, it was able to convert an old lamp into a hallway security camera with this piece of kit. The screw fitting is B22 Edison, so be aware you will need a bayonet B22 to E27 Adapter socket converter if you wish to use certain lamps. The Converters the Screw Edison to, Bayonet. It does come with a wall mount if you wish to manually wire the camera into the wall or hallway.
The app is straight forward and does have good motion detection. Over all, it works well and was very easy to install. Simply screw in the lamp socket and remove the lamp shade.
This camera is easy to set up, connect, and control. It has a long battery life and a low noise level. It can provide good night vision and motion detection. It can also filter out false alarms caused by insects or light changes. Overall happy with this product.

This bulb works really well. It connects easy to the phone and has a brilliant picture, especially the night vision too. Installing it is a bit of an issue as I couldn’t find may places that took this kind of fitting without me having to change things about but once I did it was great and I had no issues.
It was very easy to set up, I’m not great with new devices but I found it fairly straightforward. Camera quality is very good and image clear.
The app is excellent and offers a host of options. The camera works great in darkness with upto 5m of vision.
The only thing I dislike is the fact the it doest rotate a full 360 degrees.

This security camera is really straightforward yet useful. Given that it uses the standard E27 screw type for bulbs, installation of this takes only a few seconds. There may be a problem because it is the only way to power this camera. I faced the problem as i had 3 bulb connectors with one main switch whenever i turn off lights camera goes off so i had to connect it with a lamp.
Good value for money. Picture is pretty good and I like the integration with my phone.
It’s an easy install and pairing to your phone and the image quality is fairly okay. You can see what’s there and what’s going on and, at the end of the day, that’s what it’s there for.

I do do like however it has a built in light to view colour in the dark, or auto and manual night mode, so it’s more stealth, it has motion follow so when it detects motion it follows the moving motion, until it reaches the limit angle, it’s a little limtied in that regard, but there’s some nice features, such as built on TF/MicroSD card slot, there is also cloud storage but you have to buy into that, it plugs into a screw on light bulb E27 with the option if you get an adapter B22 (2Pin) to E27 (screw) adapter, it will let you use it in a B22 socket. I’m actually using it with an adapter, it does comes with an adapter too, but that is for manual installation of wires. You need to put cables through that then use a drill to fit it on, that’s too much hassle for me right now, but the options there.
To use it connect your phone to a 2.4ghz internet and remember the password of your internet, download and open littlelf smart app then click the + and add Cam S1, after follow instructions, you will need to show in front of the camera the QR from your phone when it comes up, after hearing the ping, then follow instructions and it should add the camera to the list, at which point you can then mess around with the options, motion sensor, motion tracking, HDR mode, has patrol, siren alarm, sound detection, light control, and schedule and then some very diverse set of options, really the only issue I have with it is that it cannot spin around 360 in one motion, but you can still get it as above mentioned just by backtracking around.
In the end It’s a good product thus far, hope it lasts, if it breaks down I’ll update, but want to note the further you are away from the wifi the poor audio and video quality the product will be. Lastly there is a private mode you can enable which puts it in sleep mode, but is it really private?
After all you can turn it on just by clicking device on when it comes up again, so a bit pointless should just be an off switch not private mode, otherwise have to unscrew it, and take it off for true private mode.
This camera is very nice and was easy to install. It simply screws into a screw bulb socket which means you can put it in a lamp or have it nicely centred in the room which allows you to get a good view of everything that is going on.
The picture quality is nice and you can easily move the camera which allows you to get a good view of the entire room. Overall, I would certainly recommend it.

This is a brilliant indoor camera. It moves within the body of the camera which you can move and adjust via the easily installed app. You can zoom in or out simply with the touch of the screen.

I was looking for an easy way to fit a security camera to our out house and outside under a porch type roof, when I saw these they looked ideal so I ordered three of them and I’m glad that I did.
On opening, this camera in a one piece system that simply screws into an E27 bulb fitting for its power and then the video and audio is sent through 2.4ghz WiFi to a router. This camera as with many of them doesn’t support the 5ghz wifi band but most routers have both bands. If used on a router that combines the two bands together, sometimes called smart WiFi, you might need to separate them if you have problems getting this to connect.
The setting up of the camera was very simple to do, download the free app to a smart device such as an iPhone then once the camera is powered up simply follow the guide in the app to connect the camera, it took me about five minutes in total to have this up and running so you really can’t get easier.
The bulb sockets that were installed where I wanted the three cameras only had the standard bayonet fitting but I already had some B22 to E27 adapters which I used between the socket and the camera and this did the job perfectly. It would look better if I did change the sockets to E27 fittings which I might still do but the cameras are working just can well as it is.
For recording the footage this camera can be fitted with a micro SD card up to 128gb in size, I had some 64gb cards spare so they are what I used and they still hold many days of recordings. In the app there are several settings, including for the video, audio and night vision. I feel that the night vision could be better but at this price the quality is better than I expected and I can still see faces quite clearly at the right distance they just get a little blurry when further away.
I would like to call this a PTZ camera and some might but this doesn’t have zoom although of coarse the image on the smart device can be pinched outwards to enlarge the image in a digital zoom manner.
That said, the tilt and pan works very well and is almost instant when used on the remote device depending on the strength of the wifi.
The downside that I can see straight away with using these outside is that if they were stolen which wouldn’t be hard to do since they only screw in to the bulb socket then any local recordings would be gone with the camera, lol. I would definitely use a cloud storage plan with this if it is your main security camera so at least you will be able to see who ran off with the camera, lol.
Overall, these are well made units and are very easy to fit and setup.
Recommended for a quick install but use with cloud video storage if used outside.
The litokam Light Bulb Security Camera is super easy to install if an E27 socket is available at the position where the camera is required to be installed. I had a B22 socket but it is easy and cheap to find a connector for B22 to E27 on Amazon. The camera (like many other security cameras) only works on the 2.4GHz Wifi band. It is not so compact but it doesn’t need to be hidden. My brother bought a camera that looks like a light bulb. It is IP65-rated weatherproof but good to be installed at a place with a shade and where it can be easily cleaned. Overall, it is a nice idea and decent camera.
Fitted into a floor light in the conservatory and it lets me see all areas in the garden and a really good clear image at that it was easy to set up and operate and I can now see what’s going on out back without actually being there, definitely recommend i
This is a light bulb security camera.
It arrived well-packed and seems of good quality.
It has night vision, instant motion alert, and water and dust resistance.
It is very easy to install and it has a 360-degree viewing angle.
It comes with a bracket to fit the wall, it will send an alert to the app on my phone and the camera can be controlled remotely.
It can be connected to an SD card so I don’t have to use cloud storage.

This clever E27 bulb fitting security camera is very easy to Install and set up.
The package includes a separate fitting for mounting In a position of your choice instead of a lamp or existing light fitting. Rawl plugs, screws and a reset tool are included too.
To get started download the app by scanning the QR code in the instructions, register an account which is very fast via an email verification code.
Power up the camera close to your router, add device in the App and select cam S1, confirm the light is blinking and hold the QR code in the App towards the camera lens. A noise is heard and the camera will pair within 2 minutes. Make sure your WiFi is 2.4Ghz as these type of cameras won’t work on the older 5Ghz networks.
Once paired you can see the live view and control the camera from the App, picture quality is great and you can even activate a light too.
You have an option of signing up for a cloud storage package or installing an SD card for local storage. To install the SD card move the camera all the way down which reveals the rubber cover. Peel back and click in the card, then in the App go to storage and select local storage.
To conclude one of the best, easy to set up cameras. Perfect for keeping an eye on your pets. Highly recommended
Our electrician just quoted over 3000 for a Hikvision mains wired set of video cameras setup externally around our home, three cameras is harldy worth that cost. The electrician said the majority of the cost would be as a result to need to wire cables to the exterior of the home and wire them to a mainframe-of-sorts which would hold the data.
All that seems like such a faff to me, especially when there’s so many non-wired setups like this one, which simply twists into an existing large bayonet cap outdoor light – of which we have many!
I’m not sure how watertight this light would be. I’m guessing, not very, in the price range. I have attached it within a lamppost, so I know it will remain watertight protected by the glass housing of the lamppost.
I love that the storage can be kept local (not in the cloud), by way of the app and also by inserting a memory card into the camera slot.
I’m quite used to camera with memory cards as our indoor and outdoor Eufy cameras work in an identical method (ie electrical power and local storage).
I like the app of this bulb camera, tohught it is a little limied. I do hope that further updates, improve on its functionality.
I think it’s such a clever idea in allowing cameras to be present in areas where it would othersie prove expensive to fit. The very nature of the light fitted ti these areas, means the area recives a higher foot traffic, and thus, should have that security provided by this type of camera bulb.
I do hope more companies adopt this clever technique of security bulb cameras!
