Great little thing, helps mum out alot as she cant keep hoovering all the time, does well on carpets tiles, but remember to keep your phone charger cables out the way, easy to furst program as it does it own maps, hoovers well but mop function aint great at all and could of done with the brushes at front not one . Cant live without one now
Bought this, honestly a bit skeptical, but got to say, i was wrong! It works really well on hard floors, tiled. Carpets, it does work but doesn’t get bits say that are imbedded in the carpet but otherwise really happy with this product!
Having never had a robot hoover before, I didn’t want to jump in at the high end given the cost. I was also worried they wouldn’t cope with my riven sandstone floor. So, having read a review where this little machine was vote ‘Best Value – Pet Hair’ robot vacume, I thought I’d give it a go.
It’s been amazing, simple to set up and it mapped & zoned the whole ground floor very accurately. The app is simple to use and gives you lots of functionality. But most importantly, it has coped with the floor, cleaning & mopping brilliantly. If there is one thing I could criticise, and this is only minor (because I have large open plan rooms & a Labrador) the dust box needs emptying halfway around my kitchen lounge.
However, for the money and its size it is amazing. We have named it Zoomer (Yes you can give it a name in the app) and we love it!
PS I very rarely write reviews.
PPS I have been recommending and demonstrating Zoomer to friends.
Works quite well from a cleaning perspective (does not deliver a deep clean of course) but battery duration is a bit limiting to room size that can be completed. Around a 5m x 4m room with
average complications (chairs, sofa, tables etc) would be about the max I would say.
I researched loads of these vacuums and this one caught my eye. Haven not been disappointed excellent quality, great battery life and the app is easy to use with multiple options. House mapping was quick and easy and room setup is brilliant option meaning you can choose which rooms the vacuum works in.
I’m very impressed with this. It’s an unknown brand, and it was inexpensive, so I kept my expectations low. However, it works really well. It rapidly builds up a map of your rooms, then effectively and methodically captures dust from all the floor space. The vacuum obviously effect isn’t as powerful as something like a Numatic (our main device) but it’s impressive for such a compact machine. It’s programming is clever in how it navigates edges and goes round chair legs and other obstacles. Has no trouble moving between rugs, carpet and hard floor. Haven’t tested the mop.
The app was easy to set up, and the cleaner is very responsive to controls from the app.
Downsides? It’s slightly noisier than I was hoping, but it’s not too bad. The dust box is pretty small. The rollers do get gummed up with hair , a typical problem with most vacuums.
I don’t often write reviews but I will for this. I’ve been wanting a Robot vac for a while and finally come across this on prime day deal. I usually read the one star reviews first on anything and although there are a few I took the leap and bought it. Well I’m glad I did, this little beauty works like a dream. At first I was skeptical as it only has one brush head but it manages well going from hard floor to rugs with no problems, it maps out areas well and really does clean the floors. I have quite a large living room so it split it into two areas to clean and it has cleaned them well. It navigates obstacles brilliantly and is very agile around them, I used it straight out of the box on 36% battery, it took 20 minutes total and the battery dropped to 26%. Battery life on this is amazing and a full charge will last days.
Just a for warning though, make sure you remove any thin wires from other devices and it will wrap around the brush head. But overall this vac is brilliant. Highly recommended
So recently brought this and have to say it is well worth it .
At first had a little trouble connecting it to Wi-Fi but it eventually got there.
Had to use smart cleaning on the app to map the areas in my flat which worked well .
Would recommend this to friends and family .
Albeit I’ve only had the SL61 for a few days, I will put out my neck and write a review. I’ve been using robot vacuums for the last 20 years, so I should be able to assess them without long time usage.
The SL61 is on a completely different level compared to any of my previous models, especially when it comes to mapping out your flat/house and options to manually organise the map into different areas for whisch you can define different setting and schedules. It automatically organize the finished map into areas, but it didn’t really suit the split as I wanted it, but it is very easy to change, as you can easily merge and split areas to your own needs. I’m sure there are other models that can do this, but at this pricepoint, I am not so sure.
I’ve always gone for models at the lower level priceband, so this is an enormous leap in capability. In my holiday home, I have a Xiaomi Mi (gen 1), that also is able to map out a space, but it needs several runs to finish it, and it doesn’t offer the option to split the are into several rooms. Also, as it does this by a camera without lidar, it can only clean during daylight or when the light is on. SL61 with lidar is not affected by the ambient light levels, so I have it running every night in the open plan living/ Kitchen area. In the rest of the rooms, it comes a couple of mornings during the week. This is easily managed through the scheduler (called Timer in the app). As it is so easy to set up schedules that fits my need, I will have very little need for interaction with it in the future (execpt for emptying), and that is exactly how it should be.
Max suction mentioned to be 3000 pa, but I am not sure it has more suction than the Eufy 30c (gen1) it replaces, which should have 1400pa. Not a problem. It does a very good job. Just seems there currently is a race to the highest pa rating. I’ve even seen 4000 for some models. Not sure there is a set standard for measuring this, but it looks to be the current craze in this market. Like MP size has been for cameras on phones.
I do not use the mop function, so cannot comment on that, nor have I connected it to any voice assistant, so will not provide feedback on that either.
As I mentioned, it replaces a Eufy 30c (5yo), and I have noticed that the filters and side brushes are interchangeable between the two models. Nice to know when it comes to get replacements. Eufy is a well established brand, whereas I have only just come across LuBlueLu, so how long will they remain? Of course I think they definitely should remain for long, as I am very impressed by my new SL61. Oh, and btw, even the battery is interchangeable, with same dimensions, plug, voltage and capacity. Would have been nice if the main brush also was.
The advert tells of a battery life of 90 minutes, but I assume this is on the eco setting, whereas on the standard setting I use, it looks more likely to be 60-70 minutes. But if it runs out of juice, it can be configured to return for charge and then pick up where it left once recharged. But as it, in my setup, never need to run more than 30 min, it is not an issue for me.
I encountered one slight issue during the wifi setup process. I followed the quick start guide, which tells you to press both the start and home button for 3 seconds for it to initiate, but it didn’t start anything. After several attemps, I started looking for solutions via Google, and found a video from LuBlueLu, for this procedure. It turns out, that before pressing the two buttons, the robot must be turned on. Once I understood that, it was a quick and easy setup.
Highly recommended.
I always wanted to have a robot vacuum but I never thought that they would be so easy to use and it really helps you when you need a quick swoop around the house.
Came well-packed and the instructions were easy to follow, I downloaded the app and it worked after a couple of minutes.
It did a great job vacuuming the floors and mopping, so I am happy it and it’s working amazingly well.
I love my robot vacuum cleaner. He isn’t perfect but is certainly helping to keep my house clean.
My husband has set up the app for it and I believe it has had its issues but gets better as it learns it’s way around the house.
The vac has good suction and has learnt the shapes of the rooms and will clean them all fairly swiftly. If something is in the way it will go around it. You can set it off via the app (mine is set for 10am each day) but you can override it too by pressing the button on top of the vac.
We have had a few teething problems particularly at first. We had long hair trapped around the edge of the roller (not a great design) so it stopped. We have had the roller jammed through hair. We have 3 girls with long hair!
However now it is just doing a maintenance clean each day generally it is fine. Sometimes it gets lost and can’t find its base, or something gets wrapped around a sweeper or you need to clean the front sensor but all things that are easily rectified.
The dust bin is very small so needs emptying daily.
I have had a few instances where I’ve come home and the vac has for some reason stopped and turned itself off in the middle of the room. I’m a little puzzled as to why this happens, not sure if it’s losing WiFi signal. It’s easily rectified by either pressing the button on the vac or by setting it off again in the app. In these cases it’s always found it’s way home.
Overall I really like this device.
Ive had this two days and it has taken up all mu huskies hair no problem. It mops lovely and my floor is spotless,
It maps everything and you just pick a room to clean or the different modes.
I highly recommend this to anyone looking for specially on a budget its one the best for the price.
Due to how cheap this robovac was, honestly, I’m blown away. I had been waiting for ages to find one at this price with LiDAR. This thing, as it has LiDAR, it navigates like the more expensive models.
– My place is 90% carpet. I was worried, due to the price, that it would struggle. It doesn’t. The proof is in the pictures.
– The app is really easy to use. Literally took me 10 minutes to setup.
– The most important feature of this robovac is that it has LiDAR. Basically, it’s a laser that scans and maps your home.
– It cleans my carpets really really well.
If you are on the fence about buying one, don’t be, just do it. Easily the best thing I have bought this year.
Unbelievably good – I use Edgar (named after J. Edgar Hoover – get it?!) all over the house, and as we have split levels he is comfortably taking care of five areas. At first, I thought I’d have to program him, which felt a little daunting. I’m happy to report that wasn’t necessary, I just carry Edgar to the space he’s working, press the button and off he goes! He’s such a delight – not completely quiet so I can hear him working away which is a wonderful reminder that I’m not having to hoover as he’s taking care of it on my behalf. I also am finding emptying him frequently incredibly rewarding as it’s a constant reminder of just how much cleaner our house is with him around. I love you Edgar – you’re the best!! x
I saw this great little gadget at my friends place and couldn’t resist to order this for myself . one of tge best products i have own till now just loved it .. still trying to figure out lot many features that it can offer
All in all, very happy with this robot vacuum (LOLA) and would definitely recommend it.
I have no idea why I waited so long to buy a robot vacuum! My husband got a robot lawnmower (Sgt Bash) so I thought I’d join the robot club and we now have Matilda. We have three very hairy cats and she deals with their fur two times a day absolutely no problem. Really delighted with her. For the price (I got 70.00 off) she’s well worth the money.
I’ve always had a Hetty Hoover and though that did the job on my carpets. Every so often I do a vax carpet clean and more recently borrowed a friend’s ilife robot vacuum amazed at all the “little bits and hair it grabbed”…. This little irobot vacuum “Jeeves”…omg! Is picking up so much more. The set up on the app is fairly easy. It’s first hoover scans the floor it is on and rooms (doors would need to be open). It’s easy to split and adjust labels for rooms, if only wanting a particular area done. It is picking up so much more than the previous hoover and cleaners used.i’m just amazed! The dust/dirt is compacted once collected. For me, atleast at the moment… the collecting section could be bigger as when home, I’m emptying it put after each run. I’ve set it up on the app to have a timer to work whilst im at work. I’ve found that currently if it’s picking up a lot every now and again a little bit of compacted dust is on the carpet when I get home after the 2nd run. Previously I’ve had to move something in front of the top of the stairs to stop a irobot from taking a tumble. This one I don’t have to as the sensors pick it up and help stay away!
The reason 4/5 stars Is I’ve only had this lil machine for 4 days and I’ve not yet used the mop function. It is a shame that the memory /app cannot store different levels e.g. it’s mapped put my top floor but I will need to reset for it to map downstairs and would need to keep doing that if moving it about.
I looked long and hard for a good mop/hoover robot before making my choice, mainly on the feedback from other customers. This was simple to put together BUT getting the App to connect was a nightmare. Once done though (and it took multiple tries by our resident geek), it was put to work. Firstly just hoovering and then mopping then both. It managed to make it’s map, recognised places that it could not get to (which I then excluded). App is easy to operate. Do not pick it up during the cycle because it gets completely confused. It is great for daily cleans and mops. Deeper cleaning and mopping really needs to be done by hand but it easily takes care of the daily stuff. I could not believe how much it found! Be aware, the product registration (with extended warranty) does not work on the Lubluelu website and they have discontinued the free extension to warranty. One star lost because it could really do with another spinner brush to reduce work but this one works fine and I am happy with my choice. That little bit of water did a 20 x 10 foot room, hallways and 10 x 9 foot space in the lounge as it uses it very efficiently. It powers up when detecting carpet. She only has one battle scar when she tried really hard to get underneath a TV unit and got well stuck. Give her points for shouting at me when that happened so I could release her from her trap! No marks or scuffs on the skirtings, she gently detects the barrier without crashing about and is quiet enough to run at night without disturbing sleepers. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I am happy with this product so far.
