Got this for daughter going into Uni and it is perfect. The size is small but can cook rice for 4 ppl. It’s so fast to cook compared to my standard size rice cooker. The rice is perfect once you have a few goes to test how much water to put in. It’s light in weight and easy to clean. I now want to get another for myself but just waiting for another deal.
The Rice Cooker is a kitchen superstar! It consistently delivers perfectly cooked rice with minimal effort. Its user-friendly features and set-and-forget operation make meal preparation a breeze. A must-have appliance for anyone who enjoys fluffy, delicious rice without the hassle.
Having bought a few different rice cookers this one by fair exceeded my expectations, it’s simple to use, simple to clean and is perfectly compact for a family of 4.
I do especially love that you can cook the rice, unplug it and take it with you and it remains warm.
For a long time I’ve used various branded pre-made packet rice, normally 500g types 2-3 times per week. I’d wok some frozen chicken cubes and carrots then rice, and it would be fine! Bit soy sauce, lovely!
But the packet rice per kg is creeping up compared to the large volume rice bags. This justified the rice cooker purchase, albeit a very low price. Jasmine rice being my go-to type for everything I eat.
So I’m shattered, just home from work, right let’s check this thing out! Had to check out some youtube clips on measuring as the instructions are a bit pants.
Chucked enough rice in for myself, then the water, and some frozen chicken and carrots on the steamer thing.
I nipped to the toilet, which wasn’t more than 5 minutes. When I came out, everything was completely cooked! I was expecting at least 15-20 minutes. This may have just been the rice type I used though.
I need to work out how I can add flavour to the rice, perhaps with a stock or something.
But this thing is so easy to use, although I’ve not cleaned it yet It’s lightweight, and really small. The size of the unit compared to the volume of rice you got out is deceptive! I eat a LOT of rice, and I’m still eating whilst typing this.
I certainly recommend this one.
The cooker works beautifully however it is HELL to assemble and the little silver pressure stopper in the lid always pops out when you take the lid off to clean and is very easy to lose. If you’re a more organised and better put together person that likely won’t be an issue however! I’ve slow cooked and pressure cooked some fabulous meals in this though!
Never had a rice cooker before and I love this little one. I have made lots of rice and also a couple of stews in it, cooks so quick. Very pleased so far.
It’s a relatively compact rice cooker, and extremely easy to operate. It’s also easy to keep clean – pot and lid just need a quick wipe after using. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase
This is my third rice cooker and they all seem to stop working after 6 months. This one however is still working well, simple to use albeit suited for a family of 3 as the inside pan is quite small. Easy to clean and so far so good
after one or two uses, caused power circuit failure in the kitchen. not sure why or what caused this. but seller kindly sent me a replacement for this. so far works okay now. thank you seller!
Overall pretty decent cooker! Easy to use and does what it says it’s going to do
Easy to clean and I wipe the lid clean with an antibacterial wipe as the lid doesn’t come off
The one thing is the lid can be difficult. I find it doesn’t like to close and then with a little pull, it comes open again. Takes a few times to make sure it’s closed properly. I aren’t sure if this effects the rice, but I’m guessing it probably does! Not a huge problem, but still inconvenient. Nonetheless, still does the job
