I love the small of the cedarwood show gel its excellent and in the large 500ml bottles not a bad price
a little goes a long way and its very thick
I cant use it for every wash need to rotate all my shower gels or they irritate me
now onto the lemon and Oak mmmm forgot all about my Oak tree allergy when I bought this and thought ohh its only a shower gel how wrong was I made me feel awful it took me 3-4 days to connect the dots but this one found a home with the father in law with express instructions not to use it and then come and see us
The scent of this product I find quite an earthy mint which I prefer. Could do with being a bit more stronger smelling though.
It’s quite a thick soap so a little goes a long way.
Shame their sea salt one isn’t the same consistency.
Doesn’t dry my skin out and feels refreshing.
My husband really likes this shower gel and had been buying the smaller tubes until I found this. Smells great, lathers well; and a little goes a long, long way even in hard water areas of the UK.
This gel actually leaves your skin feeling moisturised after a shower and it smells divine. A little goes a longer way in creating a decent lather for the skin. I’m in love with the aloe and pine fresh stimulating scent. I would definitely buy again.
As someone who has purchased the ManCave Sea Salt Shower Gel time and time again, I can confidently say that it is hands down the best shower gel I have ever used. This exceptional product offers a breathtakingly similar scent profile to the invigorating aroma emitted by the ocean, creating a truly refreshing bathing experience.
Let’s talk about the scent. The moment you open the bottle, you are greeted with a captivating coastal fragrance that instantly transports you to the beach. The combination of sea salt and other natural ingredients creates a unique and invigorating aroma that truly lingers on your skin. The scent is not overpowering but instead offers a subtle and refreshing touch that awakens your senses and leaves you feeling revitalized. It’s a truly uplifting experience, especially in the morning or after a long day.
What sets the ManCave Sea Salt Shower Gel apart from others is its commitment to natural formulation. I appreciate that it is sulphate and paraben-free, ensuring that I am not exposing my skin to harsh chemicals. The use of natural ingredients not only contributes to the captivating scent but also provides a gentle and nourishing cleansing experience. It leaves my skin feeling clean, soft, and hydrated, without any dryness or irritation.
Being someone who follows a vegan lifestyle, I am thrilled to find a shower gel that aligns with my values. The fact that the ManCave Sea Salt Shower Gel is vegan-friendly gives me confidence that I am supporting a brand that cares about ethical and sustainable practices.
However, the only drawback I have found is the price. At around 10 for a 500ml bottle, it can be considered a bit expensive compared to other shower gels on the market. While the quality of the product justifies the price to some extent, I do wish it was more cost-efficient. I remember when the price was substantially lower, and that made it even more appealing. Nonetheless, the exceptional scent and the overall quality make it a worthwhile indulgence if you can afford to pay a bit more for your shower gel.
In conclusion, the ManCave Sea Salt Shower Gel is an outstanding product that has become an integral part of my daily routine. Its breathtakingly similar scent to the ocean’s aroma, natural formulation, and vegan-friendly qualities make it a standout choice for those seeking a refreshing and invigorating shower experience. Despite the slightly higher price point, the exceptional quality and the positive impact it has on my skin make this shower gel a must-have for anyone who values a luxurious and enjoyable bathing experience.
Love this for its fabulous smell and about a 1 cheaper on Amazon than supermarkets. It’s also thick so you don’t need to use so much than normal shower gels so I think it actually saves me money.
I used to use the cheap stuff such as Lynx (or as the European types refer to as Axe). Then I moved up in the world to the Bulldog brand. Then one xmas I was bought this Mancave stuff, and tried 3 different types. Lemon and Oak, Sea Salt, and another one that has pumice in it. All of them have a wonderful smell, but the Sea Salt is my favourite. It smells like the sea…. just not when there’s pollution or oil rigs around.
The Lemon and Oak scent is my favourite so far from ManCave. It’s not too strong, but subtle and pleasant. The 500ml bottle lasts just over a month with generous use daily – so expect it to last a couple months if you shower every other day etc.
It’s easy to pick up in the shower, looks great, and is easy to squeeze – not like other gels that can get stuck in the bottle towards the end. You’ll likely get every last drop out of this.
Smells like your Granny’s perfume but apart from that it cleans well and leaves your skin feeling soft and not too dried out. Lathers up well if you use a puff
I’m female, and bought this because I had read it was very similar to one of the Molton Brown fragrances. Well it’s not! But I do really like this product.
It lathers up really well, so you only need a small amount. And it feels really moisturising on the skin, and after drying. The fragrance isn’t strong, which I like. It smells like the salty breeze coming off the sea I grew up by the sea and this is such a familiar smell! Just really, really fresh.
I paid 6 for this 500ml bottle and had free delivery to my local pick up store. Very good value indeed, and I would buy this again.
Also, as the title suggests, this is not just for men, I thought it was a totally unisex product.
This is the second purchase of this scent now and I have tired pretty much all of the Man Cave range, but by far this is the winner for me!
I have sensitive skin when it comes to showering, but most of the sensitive skin shower gels don’t hold up on the texture or the smells. Man Cave has been a blessing, I’ve tried and tested it over the past 6 months and it’s a true winner. Leave my skin feeling very nourished and soft with a great smell!
Even my wife loves the smell.
If Man Cave was to ever create a Fragrance / Perfume of this scent I would be a lifetime buyer it!
Texture is really good, need just a small amount and it lathers up great! One 500ml bottle lasts me just over 3 weeks. Great value for money.
Edit: With all the above being said, since leaving that review, I have decided after some competitor research that the price mark at 10 for this is very expensive. It should be in the market at around 5-6. Sadly the 10 price has put me off as need to buy 1 of these every 2-3 weeks so it becomes an expensive purchase during a month. Not to “name drop” other brands but there are other brands that do the same and are premium products at costs below the 5 mark.
This stuff does a great job of keeping your skin moisturised. The scent is subtitle, almost too subtle but, whether you like the scent will almost certainly be down to your own preference and anything I say if purely subjective. To me, it smells a little bit like a cross between Vosene and Coca Cola essence. I like it, and in many ways it’s a bonus that it is subtle.
It doesn’t lather like other shower gels but, it does the job, and for me, it does it well. I wouldn’t buy it on the basis that it’s reasonably priced or that it’s the best smelling shower gel I’ve ever used. It isn’t. However, I would buy it again on the basis that it really works, leaves my skin hydrated and and doesn’t overpower with scent. I would definitely recommend you give it a try. You won’t be disappointed providing you’re not expecting miracles.
…and hello, ManCave!
This stuff is so good! So invigorating and smells divine, I’ve never felt cleaner than after using this. Original Source is okay I guess, but it gets old after a while and I suppose I’ve built up a tolerance towards it, even their Black Mint one doesn’t provoke any tingly feel-good sensations of being scrubbed fresh and clean anymore. Plus I could never shake the feeling that Original Source was the “Lynx bodyspray” of shower gel, in that everyone buys it for everyone, it’s boring, it’s dull, it’s for young teens who haven’t really experimented with anything yet and found their flavour, if you know what I mean?
Glad that I was able to experience that pep up and go feeling again though. Definitely enjoying this product, and I’m going to be checking out the whole ManCave range (or at least the ones that appeal to me, anyway) henceforth! I think I might have found my brand of shower gel. Great!
You get a good amount for the price as well! Worth a buy!
Now, it is my first experience with a ManCave product. I don’t really love the name of the brand, don’t really relate to it but, oh boy, this is a super thick gel just as I like them. It doesn’t transform in a silly bubbly foam but lathers in a rich, dense, whipped double cream like foam. It didn’t dry my skin, and this matters to me. The scent, then, is very fresh and natural: worthy of a more expensive product. I’ll try other ManCave products, possibly for facial skin care.
