I started buying Maple Syrup very recently after watching a video on how it’s made, so I can understand the cost of the product due to where it comes from and the length of the manufacturing process.
Anyways I am no expert but this is my second lot(different brand) of Maple Syrup. Compared to the other Canadian Maple Syrup bought at my local Supermarket this one definitely has a slight treacle flavour to it which I love…my Gran gave me treacle butties(back in the 60s) as a kid and kids either loved it or hated it…I loved it.
I want to try different brands in the future but up to now this one is my favourite out of the 2 I have tried so I would recommend if you like a subtle treacle flavour.
Wonderful maple syrup, darker than most. Excellent choice for those fighting inflammation when sugar is an absolute no. A bit pricey, but since things have gotten so much better after Brexit, what isn’t?
I buy maple syrup a lot and this one has a good flavour and is in a smaller size than the others . I liked it and it means I tend to be more economical with the smaller bottle which is lighter to handle. It still has the lift up plastic lid which gets encrusted with crystals of syrup if you are not careful but this one has been much better.
