Maylawn Professional Walkie Talkies 2Pcs, Long Range Walkie

Maylawn Professional Walkie Talkies 2Pcs, Long Range Walkie Talkies License-Free for Adults or Children with Rechargeable Batteries, 2 Way Radio with LED Light Earpieces 16CH Supports VOX Functio

We use them when my kids are out playing, as they are too young to have mobile phones and this is a great way for me to communicate with them, and vice versa, so that I know they are ok.
The sound quality is good. It’s clear and easy to hear the person on the other end.
In terms of the battery, it lasts a good while.
They are quite easy to use and I really like the earpiece. Much better than the type of walkie talkies I used as a kid!
Pretty good coverage, however, do have interference at crowded/city. Surprisingly quite a few bandwidth/frequency are already in use, hence you could be keep looking for a free one, or in someone’s else conversations.
Good size with decent battery life.
Handy earpiece to go handsfree.
Worked nicely in big shopping centre where mobile signals could failed.
Reasonable at 22.5 with voucher.
The walkie talkies don’t look quite as professional as i was hoping given that they are marketed as a professional product. Despite the cheap and plastic appearance they do seem to work well. We have only tested them at a distance of about 25 meters with one person in the house and the other at the end of the garden but the sound quality was clear. You can use an ear piece of loud speaker setting. The walkie talkies have individual chargers.
I personally tested this shy over 50m, but you can defeinitely do more than this – Another good reason to buy this product is that it’s license free, some walkie talkies demand a license as they can be slightly stronge
I am pretty pleased with these walkie talkies, they have a good amount of features, good range and decent 1500mAh lithium-ion rechargeable batteries.
The quality of the walkies do feel strong, lightweight but on the cheaper side and I feel this is expected at this price point of 24.99 at the time of this review. They are pretty easy to use, they sound clear and I like that they have a hands free option and their own little battery dockers.
Overall, they do what I expected work well for hiking trips and I feel they are good value for the price.
I like these 2 way radios, they are easy to operate and have a fairly decent range. I have found them useful when I’m hiking in case I we get separated from each other. Because they don’t rely on having a mobile signal, they will still operate in mobile black spots. I’ve found the range in the open to be around 3km and a little less when in a wooded area or around buildings. The sound quality is perfectly acceptable and it is easy to understand whomever you are taking too. The batteries are long lasting and the included ear pieces are useful. I’m looking forward to putting them further through their paces, but already I have no reservation in recommending these.
