Rake the area to remove all weeds, stones or dead grass. Shake the box to mix the seeds. Using the handy sprinkler on the side of pack, sow a criss-cross pattern of seeds onto the soil. Gently rake in and tread seeds into soil, then water in.

I needed to repair my lawn after a bad moss attack !
Miracle grow tend to be my go to supplier of garden requirements.
This was exactly the amount and price was good.
Turned up on time , weather was good for seeding and applied the seed as instructions.
Low and behold 5 days later the seedlings have appeared.

We live in a new build laid with terrible turf. We have reseeded loads of times etc. This stuff with a load of water turned our grass the healthiest shade of green! The patches we thought were bald suddenly bounced to life. Brilliant stuff. We used with the miracle gro hose feeder which was a bit of a nightmare to use but it for the job done
There are a couple of thin patches but I suspect that’s down to my amateur technique rather than the quality of seeds. Just reseeded those bits so should be good by summer.

I was pretty dubious that I would start to see some grass growing within 5 days (as is indicated on the box), but it really worked! We used this to reseed an area of our lawn that had our table and chairs over it all summer. The area was completely muddy with no grass left so I really wasn’t expecting epic results with this product, but within 8 weeks (used 1 box and sowed seeds every 2-3 weeks until the box was finished) we have a new area of fresh grass . Expectations totally exceeded. Would 100% buy again.
When I moved into my new house the garden was nothing but lumpy uneven dirt. After I got every leaved out I used this seed and it was my first time ever trying to do my own lawn. I spread it by hand (my mistake) so I had a couple bare spots so I had to redo them. After about 3wks (today 24/05/15) everything was nice and full and I did my first trim. The grass is a nice skinny but firm grass and for a first timer I think it turned out great. If you know what you’re actually doing you’ll get a great lawn.
After sowing the seeds, grass appeared within a week and after 2 weeks was thick lush green grass, cannot recommend this product highly enough. The only problem is now the rest of my garden looks inferior to this new area of lawn.
Would recommend that preparation is the key. I brought topsoil to cover an inch of the prepared subsoil. I put half down then laid the seeds and put the rest over the top. I then put a permeable cover over the area which stopped birds eating the seeds whilst at the same time allowed water to go through to keep the area watered (Not expensive brought from Wilko for less than 5).
If you have an area which requires a lawn think of this method rather than turf, particularly if the area is an odd shape as buying turf may work out more expensive than this method.
