Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis man can act in anything and do anything,.He always does his own amazing stunts and in this film you get everything. Action non stop with comedy thrown in with good story and an excuse not that it’s needed to watch a film that is about two and a half hours long. Remember it is part one with more good stuff coming our way!

We bought this as soon as we could and have actually watched it a couple of times now. We have added this to our MI collection and very happy with it. We will certainly watch again.
Tom Cruise is his usual and the film keeps you ‘there’ all the way through. Clever and totally entertaining. I would highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt’s a Mission Impossible film. You know what you’re getting. Action/Exposition/Action/Exposition/Action/Action/Action etc.

It requires the usual suspension of belief: “Your mission is to recover this key. Yes, we have a really high resolution picture of it. We can 3d print faces, but we can’t make a copy of it from the picture.”

Don’t think about it. Just enjoy it. And you will enjoy it.

Good fun – if a little silly ! Only in a TomCruise film would a steam train with a dead crew be classed as “unstoppable” ! Really ? Driver and stoker dead – so who is stoking the boiler ? A chuff-chuff (sorry to be technical) would soon run out of puff (steam) with no one feeding it with coal ! Good fun without a doubt. Sad to see Rebecca Ferguson’s character killed off (sorry – spoiler).

What can I say Tom Cruse love him or hate him you can’t ignore the fact the he is an amazing human being the stunts he performs are astounding his athleticism at sixty is astonishing and the film is brilliant hats off to the entire crew and production team can’t wait for part two!

This is a continuation of the series with many old faces appearing again. An old enemy of Ethan surfaces and you know things are going to happen. There are some good action scenes , but the film is setting the scene for the second part where everything will be resolved.

The bigger your TV the louder your sound system the better. Absolute roller-coaster of action as you would expect from the MI series . Great fun, crank it up, watch and enjoy. Ive heard they use this DVD to test and Demo TVs and surround systems. There’s a recommendation then.

What a ride on a roller coaster this film was, the 2 hours and 43 minutes flew past in a flurry of well scripted and impressive chases from motorbikes to cars to trains. Absolutely cracking cast and storyline and left me on the edge of my seat and definitely wanting more. Sadly will have to wait until 2025 to see the second part of this action packed mission.

Without doubt this is the most exciting Mission Impossible to date. The car chases and daredevil escapades leave you breathless. Mixed in with this are snatches of humour to bring you down to Earth. I often at the end watch the trailers and couldn’t believe the number of people involved in the making of this film . This was only part one of this story and I’ m hoping part two when it is finally released will be just as exciting.

Great script, a story to drag you in and excite you leaving you totally exhausted but hugely satisfied ready to be signed up to part 2!

Don’t know quite how they filmed the train collapse down a ravine, that was amazing, not least that clearly everyone survived apart from the baddies! World peace has been restored!

What’s not to like it’s got Ethan and all his team against some very bad ass bad guys & ladies . Action all the way as the back story builds up , really enjoyed it. Can’t wait for part 2 to come out next year !

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersM.I. films give the Bond franchise a run for their money as charismatic action movies; especially from Ghost Protocol onward.
Here, Cruise is starting to look older (well he is in his sixties!) but that hasn’t slowed him down. In this episode you get everything you want and expect: a decent plot, great set pieces, good acting and characterisation from the IMF ‘crew’ and other players, a villain to be beaten, some light/funny/witty moments, and Cruise’s continued commitment to dramatic stunts.
Another great fun Impossible Mission; well, half of one …

I paid for it to support Tom Cruise in his dedicated efforts to entertain us. ‘Dead Reckoning’ is both good and bad in the way that MI movies are: brilliant action, team spirit, moments of emotional intensity, contrasting with some slow and ponderous dialogue, and clumsy humour. Cruise deserves every rivet of his P51, and I will watch Part Two.

PS: ‘Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre’ has a somewhat similar plotline, but is generally faster-paced and better balanced. Will Ritchie and Cruise ever actually make a movie together ?
