I really liked this charging cable as it covers so many options. So you don’t need to mess around with different devices or forget the wrong one. All charged fine as expected. Recommended.
This is a great idea, a very well made durable cable that will last ages! The fact that it has the adaptors saves you carrying multiple cables about.
Slowly the transition to usb-c connectors across all devices is taking place but if you are anything like me you’ll have a few devices and even power adaptors that have different connections, so a cable like this proves very handy indeed!
I wanted this cable as I have an iPhone 15 and also an iPhone XR I travel with.
This cable allows me to charge either phone without carrying around 2 cables.
The cable comes with an 18 month warranty. It is 1.92m long cable (excluding connectors). It is braided which helps the cable last longer, as it reduces wear on the bends, however the I would prefer the cable to be slightly softer (like the usb-c cable that comes packaged with the iPhone 15). However if it was softer perhaps it may not last as long, but I like my cables to bend the way I want them to – maybe that’s me being picky.
The end convertors are joined to the cable using a plastic connector, which can be moved up and down the cable to get them out the way if required.
Overall a decent cable.
This is a great all-round charging cable. It is more robust than the standard plastic affair that you can buy in bulk, the options for different types of connection is handy if you carry multiple devices, and the colour is also nice! A solid all-round purchase.
I have an android phone and my partner has an iPhone. So when we travel we need a cable to connect USB A (charger) USB C (android phone, laptop and battery pack) and lightning (iPhone).
Until I found this cable we needed to carry several cables with different combinations of connectors. Now we only need to carry one.
This cable has USB C plug at each end with adaptors to convert these to USB A and lightning.
The adaptors have metal cases and have plastic retaining loops so they don’t get lost.
The USB C connectors are plastic with moulded strain relief sleeves joined by a 2 metre medium thickness cloth covered cable.
It seems odd that the plugs have plastic cases when the adaptors have metal cases but that’s a minor issue..
The adaptors fit securely on the ends of the cables.
The cable and adaptors are a fairly vivid purple colour and seem very good quality.
I’ve tried various combinations of charging and data transfer and everything works well.
I have quite a lot of devices and ended up with quite a number of cables, as I am sure is the case for many of us. The advent of fast charge supported cables like this one, diversified this further, the fact that usb ports are switching USB-A (the rectangular one you plug in to USB ports) to USB-C and the fact that micro USB continues to be needed means when I go away I carry quite a lot of cables.
This cable has a high quality braid. I much prefer braid as standard cables do deteriorate over time. Braided cables are also much more robust. The end connections are well made, quite long and the connector to the cable is near 1cm long so unlikely to suffer the issues many cables have where the end connector wears loose over time exposing the cables.
The ability to switch USB-A to USB-C by fitting the well fitting connector, together with the ability to switch between lightning and USB-C make this both versatile and extremely useful. The fact that the build quality is high means this will be one of my “go to” cables. Also ideal for a guest room.
I have used with Iphone and Echo Dot Headphones as well as a few other gadgets. I have connected via a fast charger using the USB-C connector and a fast charger and the iphone connection picks up the fast charge (checked using the Ampere app). The price is good. It would have been ideal if they had included micro USB as I still have many older (and some new!) devices that use it. It’s a good well constructed cable, with solid secure connections and well fitting for devices, that looks robust and built to last. It will be used a lot.
Braided cable makes it robust and harder to break, yet provides enough flexibility. The connectors are well built and feels strong enough to withstand attachment/detachment multiple times, unlike some other products where after interchanging the connector it gets a bit loose and eventually ends up in poor connectivity. The attached connector is so flushed and sturdy that it actually feels like moulded from the same piece of material as the main cable.
This cable is great but it took me a while to arrive at that conclusion!!! In case any other buyers are as stupid as I am, I should take you through my journey. The parcel arrived. I knew I had ordered a multi-headed cable but what arrived was an ordinary USB to lightening cable. Useless I thought, they e sent me the wrong one. I did notice the rubber cord at the side of the connections but thought they were a fancy way of getting it in and out of sockets and ports. I looked in the box. No extra attachments. The outside of the box gives no clues and the included manual offers only generic basic safety advice. Finally I went back to the order and realised from the picture that you have to pull off the ends to reveal different connectors and the cords at either end are to keep the original connectors safe. Duh. The two connectors underneath are both C connectors so you can have USB to lightening, USB to C or C to C. Very useful to save on the number of cables when you are travelling although you can only charge one device at once. The cable feels very sturdy and I should also comment on the lovely purple colour – easy to spot in your luggage. I have only used USB to C but it works well. I do feel stupid about how long it took me to work out something which now seems obvious but a picture on the box or in the instructions would help the practically challenged like me!
I had a friend over the other day who wanted to charge his iPhone and I realised I didn’t have a cable. So when I say this I was pleased as I can use to charge his devices and mine as well. I’ve made a video showing how the connectors work. They’re good as the spare connectors can be moved out the way when they’re not used so they’re not scratching your devices. The cable is a good length, a fun colour and also braided. The heads click into place nicely. I’m very happy with it.
The cable I recently acquired, featuring a delightful purple colour, has genuinely exceeded my expectations. Not only does it have a visually pleasing design, but its functionality and versatility are equally impressive.
First and foremost, the base cable’s USB-C to USB-C connection is robust and reliable, making it compatible with a wide range of devices. What sets this cable apart, however, are the two removable adapters included in the package. These adapters, one USB-C to lightning and the other USB-C to USB-A open up a world of possibilities, ensuring that you’re prepared for virtually any charging scenario.
One noteworthy feature is how the adapters are ingeniously attached to the cable using short plastic ties. This simple addition may seem minor, but it solves the age-old problem of adapters getting lost or misplaced. It’s a small detail that makes a significant difference in the cable’s practicality.
This cable is tailor-made for travellers and individuals on the go. It offers multiple solutions in one compact package, eliminating the need to carry multiple cables or adapters. I’ve put it to the test in various situations, and it has never failed to deliver.
In my testing, I found that all the combinations worked flawlessly to provide a reliable charge. Whether it was the USB-C to USB-C connection, which powered both my MacBook Pro and iPad simultaneously, or the USB-C to lightning and USB-A to lightning setup, which provided a steady charge to my iPhone 13, this cable proved its worth every time.
I charge my Nokia phone every day and my iPad only once a week or so and used to use two different cables. Using this one cable I can now charge either of them as needed as well as having the option of taking power from either USB type A or C outputs.
It is possible to get small adapters to fit on any cable of course, but I like the way that these are secured so that they don’t go missing. Being designed for this cable ensures that the adapters are a good fit and MFi certification gives extra reassurance of compatibility with my Apple device.
My phone is getting on a bit now and the charging socket can be a bit temperamental. I was pleased to find that the USB-C plug on this cable fits securely and the phone now starts to charge first time, which has not always been the case with other cables.
My only small complaint is that I find a two-meter cable to be a bit long because they take up so much space, especially these more durable braided types. I have solved this by using a cable tie to keep it under control and it would’ve been nice to have a tie included with the cable.
The issue with the cable length is really my personal one though, and it might be just what you need, so I’ve still given this versatile cable a full five stars.
I recently recieved this Apple Lightning charging cable and have been pleasantly surprised by its great value, priced at under 10. This cable offers the convenience of functioning as two different cables in one: a Lightning cable for Apple devices and a USB-C cable for other devices. It features a USB-C to USB-C design with an attached lightning male adapter, which can be used as needed. The cable’s generous two-meter length allows me to comfortably sit farther from the wall plug, providing more freedom to move around while charging.
The cable’s design strikes a good balance between being easy to manage and offering ample protection for durability. The double-braided sheathing adds an extra layer of protection against cuts, enhancing reliability and resilience. The connectors have long strain relief sleeves moulded into them, addressing the common issue of damage from bending often experienced with Apple’s cables. This feature is usually the reason many people opt for third-party cables. Additionally, the larger plug is easier to use compared to Apple’s slippery connectors, providing a more user-friendly experience. Overall, the connector ends seem to be of good quality and durability.
The quality of the cable is highly impressive, and it is likely to last a long time. The fact that it seems to have passed Apple’s MFi certification and possibly contains original MFi chips ensures that there are no pop-up warnings or messages while charging or transmitting data on iOS devices. The fast charging speed and compatibility with up to 60W PD while charging a MacBook Pro suggest the presence of an e-marker chip.
Though the manufacturer doesn’t explicitly claim MFi certification, its track record with other MFi-certified cables and the cable’s performance indicates it likely holds the certification. I couldn’t personally verify it, but it’s safe to assume it meets Apple’s standards. It’s important to note that the cable supports data transmission at 480Mbps (USB 2.0), which is typical for most charging cables. Additionally, Apple’s Lightning connector itself only supports data transfer at USB 2.0 speeds.
Despite this minor limitation/issue, I’ve been using this cable for a few weeks now and haven’t encountered any issues. Overall, I find this cable to be a fantastic deal, as it is affordable, effectively charges my phone, and is versatile enough for USB-C devices. For its price, it offers stellar value, and I hope this review helps others in making an informed decision.
This is a great cable for traveling as it covers almost all bases. As can be seem from the pictures it fits and charges iPhone via Lightning connector or any other via USB C. On the input side it can be used with chargers that output via USB A or USB C. The only downside is that it does not have a micro USB adapter on the output end as a lot of not so old devices still require it, and at this price point I think it should have been included. Would have got five stars if it had micro USB as well.
Impressed with the quality and connections for this cable. Being 4-in-1 you can cover the majority of the main connection standards used on newer tablets, phones and for computer input devices (hard drives etc)
USB-C to USB-C
USB-C to Lightning
USB-A to USB-C or Lightning
Cable feels robust and doesn’t tangle easily during use. Braided nylon construction with a 9k bend rating will last a number of years. No issues is fast charge standards of 3A however will only complete data transfers at USB 2.0 speeds of 480mbps.
Handy to keep in the bag for a one cable solution while travelling or on holiday.
Just what we needed, as we have a new usb,c
And the old type connector, for iPhone
This cable works great, and the 2 meter one perfect, at a great price
For the current price of just over 7 with a voucher, I think this cable is a bit of a bargain. It is well made, sturdy, multifunctional as per the description and works a treat!
I have no bad things or negatives to say at this present moment in time and can only give it a massive thumbs up for you if this type of cable is what you were wanting.
