These shepherds hook garden hangers are very functional, they come with all the fittings including the bolts for the base, an Allen key and a small spanner I like the way that the bases have four good ground spikes which means they are easy to adjust vertically and are firm once placed in the ground.
The sections screw together which gives the pole a smooth finish. The diameter of the pole is quite large which again adds to the sturdy appearance. Because it is in sections the hanging heights are very variable and suit all applications, to be honest we have left one section out of our poles because it would have been extremely high .
We have tried to squirrel proof ours but as yet it has not been tested , overall I think they are excellent value as they would easily support bird feeders or heavier hanging baskets .
Put this together really easy. The sticks that go into the ground hole really well. Not mad of good steel as brown colour is appearing at joins. Does the job.
With adding a slinky to the pole I have finally beaten the squirrels. It’s got a good strong coating and looks great in my garden I have one either side. So I can also change to lights in the evening if I have guests.
We have used these shepherds crooks for light displays and they work very well. They are easy to assemble and are well made and protected, so they will hopefully last very well.

she has left one section out to get the length she wants but also has the option to go bigger well worth the money
Arrived quickly, relatively easy to assemble (just take note of where the screw holes are at the base) and very sturdy. used one at fullest high with two squirrel proof feeders on and it has remained upright. Very good value for money
