I have to admit, even though it’s a bit more expensive, this nifty gadget adds a lot of convenience to your car’s infotainment system. If your car already has factory wired CarPlay, this wireless dongle is a game-changer. Setting it up was a breeze; I just plugged it into the USB port, and my iPhone quickly connected to the car’s display. During my testing, the wireless connection remained stable, and I had access to all the CarPlay features I enjoy, like navigation, music, and calls — everything worked flawlessly.

Make sure your car is compatible before you buy it.

Once fitted (which was fairly easy for a first time user of anything like this), I find that it offers a great sound and keeps working and being ieasy to use.

I was doubting myself if this would work, after months trying to plug my phone into USB

It would work then go off after going over a bump.
Ottocast as changed everything , it connects easy and no problems at all

This is the 3rd unit ive tried from different places. The main issue i have is connecting to different phones, mine or my partners. By having this button, its easier to switch between phones depending whos driving. So far its doing everything as advertised and connects quick enough. It is more expensive than others out there but im willing to pay as long as it works on multiple phones. Bonus is there no keed for 3rd party apps. Simply connect onto the OTTO bluetooth and android auto will kick into action.

This is really easy to set up, only takes a few minutes! Really easy to use and no wires! Which makes it look neater. Really pleased with it. It’s a little pricy, but really good quality.

I’m impressed with how well this works and how there’s minimal difference in performance between this and a wired version. It’s great not long have dangling cables and being able to place my phone wherever I want (in some cases not even taking out of my bag and jacket). Set up is really easy and providing you have Airplay it should work fine in your car. I like the way it automatically connects one I’ve done the initial set up – nice and easy when you pop in your car. With the current vouchers taking the price down to under 100 it seems reasonable value for money too.

A great alternative to having cables and leads plugged in and draping across your dash/ steering wheel. Easy to use and set up. Makes life so much easier. Would recommend.

Is a super efficient way of getting in car entertainment wirelessly. This reduces or eliminates the need for wires to enable you to access apps and particularly music on your iPhone.

This was easy to set up in just a couple of minutes and once done it connects automatically next time meaning there’s no messing about you can just start your drive.

This is really useful to have is indeed very well made however the price is a little bit over the top as far as I am concerned given how fast technology is moving these days. Nonetheless if you want something that works and provides a good in car experience (and you have the money – this is definitely well worth considering.

First, do make sure that you have the right sort of wired connection in your car before ordering. Assuming you do, this little piece of kit is very easy to set up and avoids the need for cabling, making the interior look much neater. It connects easily with a Bluetooth phone.

In use, the sound quality is pretty good but it’s not ultra high quality – however, if you’re in a car there is a loft of ambient noise to contend with, so that’s not as important as it would be at home.

Provided your car is compatible with CarPlay this is very easy to set up, and simply plugs into your car’s USB. Once set up, it’s good to go and you simply connect up your phone wirelessly reliably and quickly whenever you need it. The box itself is small so doesn’t take up much room, and looks pretty cool IMO! Prices seem to vary greatly online so worth shopping around.

My daughter has a 2018 Astra which has the factory fitted Carplay system fitted as standard.

This device enables her to connect her phone via Bluetooth to the carplay without a tangle of wires and leads.

Easy to pair with your phone.
Once a connection is established, it automatically pairs whenever your phones Bluetooth is visable to the device.

I am an Android lover and will remain so until its more evolved version is created. Besides Android, I love good and fast cars with an enviable audio system; the more extensive the wattage, the better, and a subwoofer is a necessary condition . Technology is evolving so rapidly nowadays; unfortunately, we still need to bridge the gap between wireless connections and devices. The A2AIR PRO is a tiny bridge that allows a true wireless connection between an Android phone and its auto counterpart. The device arrived in a well-presented box with an attractive shape; it is simple and tiny, with a logo that lights up. The phone-device connection is stable throughout. You must connect the A2AIR to your USB port, open BT settings and connect the device. From this point, life driving with your phone is effortless and pleasant, as you can use the navigation and all applications quickly, and it is recognised immediately. Nonetheless, to be able to use it, you must have Android Auto installed. I think it does an excellent job for such a small device, albeit at a premium price.

If your car has AirPlay but requires you to plug in your phone, this solution is perfect. Personally, I like to place my phone in the centre console while driving, so the wireless option is a must-have. Cables always get in the way and it looks tacky and inconvenient to constantly plug it in.

Setting up the system was quite simple and only took a few moments. After that, your phone will automatically connect every time you start your car. Once the screen is on, you won’t see any visual difference between wired and wireless CarPlay. It is pretty much plug-and-play.

There is a slight delay when using my steering wheel controls to change the track but I’m talking only mere seconds. It actually becomes less noticeable as you get used to it. I am really pleased with the sound quality, as I can’t distinguish between cable and wireless.

you can do everything that you would get with a wired connection. It does allow me to use the apps I need to see in my vehicle which are Google Maps and Apple Music. I’ve noticed app radio podcasts aren’t as good quality as a wired connection but as mentioned you get used to it.

Overall, considering the price point, this is an excellent option to eliminate cords and achieve a wireless setup in your vehicle. Not only does it provide a neater and more attractive appearance, but it also offers added convenience. You can simply leave it plugged in, turn on your car, and it will automatically connect every time after the initial setup.

    Hope this review helps someone.

This is a small compact device that means you can just plug this into your car’s usb port
You need to have a car which already has the capability to run CarPlay though so it wouldn’t be suitable for older cars which don’t

This now means I can set up the device the once and then just wirelessly connect my phone up every time I need it.

I will say it is pricey, but the build quality reflects that.

I’m driving a 2022 jeep jl With apple car play. It only works with your iPhone plugged in. I’ve been debating on whether to get one of these wireless car play units. I finally did it and couldn’t be more happy with it. Mounted conveniently in my center console it works Awesome!! Five stars all the way!!

This is great value as it connects so easy and the biggest plus for me is that I no longer forget my phone which is what I always did when it was wired as I’d forget to unplug it and then have to go back to my car, those days are no over with this, easy to connect, sounds great and zero lag at all, very happy with it.

This is so easy to set up out the box ready to plug and play. Connects to your iphone via bluetooth and the integrated car play system. After the first connection your phone will automatically connect when you are in the car next. Once connected music, phone calls, sat nav and other apps can be easily used.

Not being tech savvy I was a bit apprehensive about this, there was no need to be, it was easy to fit and connected to my phone first time.

Works seamlessly with the the phone, I can get every thing I need wirelessly from my phone, the real time navigation is superb.

I have a little slot in my centre consul, this fits it great, it’s like it was made for it, maybe it was.

It is a bit on the expensive side but I like it.

I bought a second-hand Skoda Yeti and really wanted a reversing camera (having had one in my previous car and found it indispensable.). Went to a professional auto electrical place and it turned out it was cheaper to have a whole new radio with rear view camera installed together than it was to retro-fit a camera to the existing radio. So I chose one with Apple CarPlay, which I’d not had before but had to go for the wired version because the wireless version made the whole prospect just way too expensive.
I like the CarPlay but having to have the cable draped across the steering wheel is a bit annoying so I don’t use it as much as I might otherwise.
So when I saw this device I thought it could be my lucky day. Sadly, it wasn’t – but that’s not the fault of the manufacturers, it’s rather I was talking a bit I’da chance that didn’t pan out.
You see, the listing specifically states this is for cars with a FACTORY-FITTED wired CarPlay. I know my car doesn’t have that but I was hoping that, since the new radio has been fired by professionals, it might still work. Unfortunately, it doesn’t, it just won’t pair with my iPhone. Disappointing but obviously I was hoping for a bit too much. My fault. Shame because to have the CarPlay working wirelessly all the time works have been excellent.
Bottom line – if your wired CarPlay is factory-fitted, this is a great idea. If it’s not, don’t bother taking the chance.

My brand-new car is supposed to have Android Auto wireless ability. However, as I’ve discovered, it doesn’t work and its failure to work blamed on incompatibility. We’re talking about a Galaxy s23 ultra! It seems I’m not alone in having the problem. So, this adaptor looked the ticket to solving my problem, finger crossed.

The adaptor arrives in a retail box along with two USB leads and some instructions. It’s quite a small unit with a single button and a USB-C socket. The unit must plug into one of your car’s data USB ports and not just a power only port. The device’s logo lights up when powered up.

On your Android phone, you need to go to the Bluetooth settings and pair and connect to a device marked ‘AUTO-xxxx’. As long as Android Auto is set up on your mobile, then you should find that your car will now recognise it. Do whatever you need to do in your car to get Android Auto on the car’s screen. Job done. It worked first time and every time since! This gives the most reliable connection that I’ve ever seen.

Overall, expensive, but it works reliably! I hope that helps.

This wireless car play adapter is a true plug and play device! The transmitter comes with two connection leads, USB C-C and USB A-C, so should work with the majority of cars with a USB port. I literally took the device out of the box, connected it to my in car USB port and immediately the display changed – my phone asked me to connect to the device, one click and within a couple of seconds i had carplay streaming wirelessly on my in car entertainment screen.

All of the standard carplay apps were available to me and all worked flawlessly. Maps navigated me fine without any drop outs or loss of connection.

This device will not ‘give you’ car play in an older car, you need to have the carplay software already imbedded into your vehicle entertainment system. All this device does is bridge the connection to make it wireless so that you don’t have to have your phone plugged in and wires going everywhere.

In summary if you are fed up with wires connecting your phone to your vehicle then this is a very neat, easy to use solution which effectively upgrades your vehicle to wire free apple car play!

Great Device that works very well! I would definitely recommend this cool bit of kit!

I’ve been very impressed with this product, which is easy to set up, connects with ease and is very compact when used in the car cab. When setting up the device, it connects to the integrated CarPlay system without the need for a cable cable and then provides consistent functionality without having to pick up the iPhone separately.

After paring for the first time, the connector will work in the future and automatically connect to the Bluetooth connection has been established between the car and phone. The adapter can also remain permanently connected via a USB (-C) connection and takes up only a small amount of space when used in the cab.

Overall, this is a great piece of kit that allows you to use an range of apps such as Maps, make phone calls, ask siri questions / give commands and which streams music with ease. Recommended!

This wireless car play adapter is incredibly easy to set up. It is a simple plug and play system. The adapter connects to your phone via bluetooth and then you have a wireless connection. All of the previous functionality that you used to have will be done through this unit and it is simple and easy to mount since only a small cable is required to connect it and it won’t have to be moved around. It is very easy to manage the cables neatly. The performance is excellent and it doesn’t stutter or lag an incredible unit I can definitely recommend.

This wireless adapter is easy to set up and connects you automatically each time you want to use it there after.

So far, it’s done a good job and the connection has been stable, allowing me to play music, handle calls and use my phone as a sat nav without issue.

I also like the look and design of it, while also being small and lightweight so it can be moved easily when required.

All in all, it’s a good adapter, bit quite an expensive investment at 129.99, which was the price at time of writing.
