How to deal with the folds when you get your mat?
-Solution 1: Put some weights on the folds ( raised side) for a few days, it will recover into original shape soon.
-Solution 2: Use a hairdryer, heat the folds till it reach a certain temperature. Fold it in the opposite direction.

I use paper pellet litter for my cat and was tired of continually sweeping up bits of it on my floor. This mat does trap a lot of it and the floor is much cleaner now. Its easy to just tip the trapped bits back into the litter tray. My cat doesent mind walking over it to get into the litter tray either it’s quite a soft plastic. Good item pleased I bought it.
4 stars because the material is a little flimsy compared to a different version I had years ago so not the highest quality but good and usable for its price
We have had one of these mats for a few years now. We have just added a second litter tray for our cat and had no hesitation in buying another of these mats to go under it.
The mat works very well to capture the wood pellets which attach to our cat and escape from the litter tray. The product flattens out quickly and is excellent quality. I wish I had known about it for our previous cat, who, according to her cattery, “could kick litter for Scotland”. Way better than using newspaper (especially now we get our news online).
Took a while to get it straight (about a week) but it does catches the litter as cat either scratches it on the floor or as she gets out of litter box
I have laid out the mat flat with heavy weights on top for three days, as recommended in the leaflet that arrived with the package, but as soon as I remove the weights, the mat starts to curl up where the bends were made from packaging. How can I remove the bends?
Not to sure if it’s a good purchase, it does catch the majority of the cat litter, but it is still difficult to empty and not easy to clean.
Great concept, though it can become a trap for less than hygienic material so handling the mat is, well not nice.
I do still use it but for catching cat litter.
It definitely catches a lot of litter that would otherwise end up on the floor, but my cat doesn’t seem to like walking on it so he jumps out of the litter tray over the mat. He ends up kicking a lot less litter across the floor so it’s worth using, and it’s not too hard to clean using the hoover or by carefully tipping it into the bin – one end opens to help empty it.
Initially the cats treated it like an obstacle but once they got over that phase it has stopped the appearance of cat litter all over the house.
4 stars because even after a month it still wants to be in the shape it was folded into to get in the delivery box, which makes opening it to get the litter out a bit more handsy than I would prefe

However, I do have one minor concern. The double-layer design occasionally causes some litter to get trapped in between the layers, requiring a bit more effort to clean. While it doesn’t happen frequently, it’s worth mentioning as a small drawback.

These make a fair bit of difference with cat litter – especially the small stuff like World’s Best. I’ve found that you can even vacuum most of the litter through the holes so that makes cleaning in that respect a doddle and they definitely cut down on scatter. However, while I’m gonna persevere with this because they are so good at what they are supposed to do, there is one huge drawback – if you have a cat that tends to throw up a lot and it does it while sitting on the mat (as mine seems always to do) cleaning that up is a bit of a pain. Currently, it isn’t something that would make me get rid of the mat, but if it happened all the time, then I might have to rethink that. There’s always something!
