These are a literal game changer. Installation was easy, they came in a neat little box with alcohol wipes and stickers, with instructions. They’re a lot softer than I imagined, which makes the buttons easier to press. It makes using the buttons a lot more natural, and comfortable experience! Love them!
I have ordered these twice now, and both times I absolutely do not regret it. This was the best purchasing decision I ever made for my Steam Deck. Those back buttons are an absolute joy to press with these. They don’t get in the way of anything, and I can easily fit my Steam Deck into any case, even a TomToc slim case, without any issues what-so-ever.
They were a tiny bit tedious and confusing to install, but with a little bit of mental willpower, I was able to get them installed without any issues. Just remember, you want to apply the sticky bit to your buttons first, then apply the grips afterwards. Use good lighting so that you can see what you’re doing, but make sure you don’t use too good of a light or it will melt your Steam Deck while you’re applying the stickers. Don’t be like me and overheat the steam deck while doing this. Luckily, I was able to realize that the light i was using was heating up my steam deck and I was able to use a different light to get the job done. Use a low powered light, or a light that doesn’t get super hot so that you don’t melt your L1/L2/R1/R2 buttons while trying to install these stickers to the L4/L5/R4/R4 back buttons.
Einer meiner grten Kritikpunkte des Steam Decks sind genau diese Tasten auf der Rckseite. Ich habe eher versucht sie zu meiden, als in meine Tastenkonfiguration einzubeziehen. Es fhlte sich einfach nicht nach einer natrlichen Fingerhaltung an.
Mit diesen Pads liegen die Finger bereits vllig natrlich auf den Tasten und sie sind ungleich besser zu drcken, was sie m.E. zu einem “must have” machen. Um das bestmgliche Ergebnis zu erreichen, liegen die Pads in zwei unterschiedlichen Hhen vor.
*TIPP 1*
Ausprobieren geht ber Studieren. Man muss die Pads nicht direkt aufkleben um sie zu testen. Einfach einseitig auflegen, Finger auflegen, umdrehen und die normale Gaminghaltung einnehmen. So kann man den Unterschied zwischen der Seite mit und ohne Pads ganz schnell einschtzen.
*TIPP 2*
Fr mich hat sich folgende Kombination durchgesetzt:
L/R 4 – Pads mit High Thickness
L/R 5 – Pads mit Low Thickness

Fr mich nicht mehr wegzudenken.
Donnent un bon volume aux gchettes arrires, amliorant ainsi trs largement le confort. Je suis trs satisfait de la taille normale, un peu moins de la grande taille qui est un peu trop envahissante mon got.
Cependant, j’ai fini par les enlever pour une simple raison : la matire tant assez “mousseuse” les boutons ont tendance accumuler la transpiration au fur et mesure, jusqu’ devenir presque spongieux sous les doigts C’est trs, trs dsagrable.
Je mets 4 toiles aussi bien pour ce petit dfaut que pour la pose qui est un peu hasardeuse avec des stickers qui fonctionnent moiti. Mais le produit reste un indispensable selon moi, j’aimerais juste que la matire soit diffrente.
The kit arrived in 2 days with extra pads and stickers on top of the carry case and alcohol pads!! Was so happy! the pads were very easy to install and are very solid and it’s so much more comfortable to play with them. I was afraid the pads wouldn’t fit inside the provided steam case but they do perfectly. It almost feels like they were made by valve themselves since its such a good quality! 10/10
Works very well, however I only had 3 of the thicker pads, and 5 of the thin ones which was a bit annoying. Definitely solves the problem, but a bit more care when packing and sending would be appreciated 🙂

Really improved my gameplay in armoured core as taking my thumb of the right stick to get to abxy is a pain, these allowed me to reliably use the back buttons so great product, does what it says on the ti
Molto comodi, aderenza perfetta tramite il biadesivo fornito. Unico piccolo appunto che se vi sudano le dita durante il gioco diventano un pelino scivolosi… forse rivedrei il motivo in rilievo per aumentarne un po il grip, in ogni caso rispetto a non averli la differenza molta.. io lo uso principalmente nei giochi di racing avendo impostato il cambio manuale su 2 tasti posteriori.
Bon kit, livr dans une housse rigide toute petite et probablement inutile aprs la pose. Assez simple poser, pensez utiliser une pince piler pour dcoller la deuxime face de l’adhsif. Tient solidement une fois pos, rend vraiment les boutons arrire plus accessibles, et vous avez le choix entre 2 paisseurs de boutons.

To me the steam deck is perfect in every way except for the joysticks and back buttons, which are both good but not great. Thankfully there’s an easy fix to both of these, and this product solves one of them beautifully!
I used the thinner ones on the top and thicker ones on the bottom because I find that the top buttons were never as annoying to press as the bottom ones. The rubber is soft but solid to press and the grips are great, overall everything feels nice about these and its definitely way easier to use the deck now, this is how it should have always been.
With these and a spigen case I still have no issue putting the deck in its original carrying case which is a nice bonus.
Installation was super easy and the nano tape is very cool, allowing you to reapply if you need to adjust.
I don’t understand why it came in the case it did though? I can’t deny that it’s nice but I won’t use it for anything and I feel like that thing cost more than the grips themselves… The price of these is already expensive for what you ge
The back buttons on the Steam Deck are usually, but very hard to press and because the Deck is so heavy it can be hard to hold while lying down for an hour or so.
These are exactly what I was looking for, the buttons are easier to press and Deck is much easier to hold.
These fit perfectly and still allow me to use the standard steam deck case. There’s 2 different height pads in the nice carry case (which is nice a zip case, ideal for repurposing when you have fitted the pads)
Pads are easy to fit and the pack includes spare sticky pads in case you mess up the fitting.
Overall it makes using the back buttons easy without being intrusive or effecting your grip on the deck
Highly recommended easy upgrade for your steam deck
It changes how your fingers lay on the back paddles so that it seems much easier to press them by extending the height of the back paddle buttons. Also, with these, the back paddle is much more distinct from everything else in the back, making it easier to “feel” the button.
The original Steam Deck paddle buttons are meant to be “pressed downwards” and not “gripped pressed”, however, the way the original buttons conform to the Steam Deck grip, it makes so that we tend to “grip press” them, but with this adhesive rubber extension, you naturally tend to “press down” instead. That’s great!
I really recommend it to anyone not happy with the original back paddle buttons.
PS: I even tried the JSAUX transparent back plate with its alternative paddle buttons, but this was a much better solution, by far! The JSAUX creates a very undesirable “travel” before the click…

Applying it took a bit because I wanted it to be perfectly aligned but once it was done, the buttons were far easier to click.
I’d definitely suggest buying these.
These come in 2 thickness sizes, 4 enhancers each, with multiple pieces of double-sided adhesive, in case you mess up (I messed up once!). They come in a neat little clamshell case with alcohol wipes and a mini microfiber cloth. Step 1 was to take my TPU grip case off and remove the skins I had already placed on the buttons. Step 2, clean and dust the buttons with the alcohol wipes and dry them off with the microfiber cloth. Step 3, pick the desired thickness and position the button enhancers. Step 4, apply the double-sided adhesive to the enhancer. A note I’d like to make is to apply one button at a time. Step 5, place the enhancer on the button. Try to get it right on the first try, because if you try to remove it, the double-sided adhesive can pull off of the enhancer. That’s where I messed up! Another note is that the adhesive pieces are mirror images of each other, so it doesn’t matter which one you use as long as it matches the shape of the button and enhancer. Step 6, put the case back on, and enjoy!
I used the thicker enhancer versions since I have a grip case on it, and let me tell you, there was a huge difference right away! I was able to play Doom 2016 and jump around and chainsaw successfully. The same goes with Team Fortress 2. These enhancers are game changers. They’re made out of a nice, grippy, soft rubber that contours perfectly to your finger tips. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone looking to make the back buttons more comfortable and accessible; they’re terrific!
