Projector Screen and Stand, Outdoor Projector Screen, 90
Projector Screen and Stand, Outdoor Projector Screen, 90 Inch 16:9, Portable Projector Screen with Stand, 1.2 Gain Fiberglass, Lightweight and Compact, Easy Setup, Idea for Home Cinema, Backyard Party
Better then expected, very easy to
Set up, screen bigger then I though but it’s perfect, will be attached to the wall but also really glad it’s portable for outside in the summer.
This is a great screen to take around with me when I am training. So easy to assemble. Highly recommended.
The only odd thing is that the tube that the screen is stored in does not have a lid but the opening does have a surround that the screen gets caught on and can caused fraying. I managed to lever this off and removed the glue so that I can take this off before I take out the screen.
he size of the screen took me by surprise and the quality was excellent, easy to put together, and fold away. Only down side was that the screen is easily dented as it is not clothe
This is a 60 inch projection screen. It comes in a carry bag and the screen in a plastic tube, and requires assembly before use.
First 2 times I used this screen I had no issues, but third time I couldn’t get the screen out of the tube. It had relaxed in the tube and was catching on a lip o. The inside of the end cap. After 10 minutes I managed. I suggest using hair bands or something to secure the rolled up screen to help with this.
Although in 6 parts (stand, screen and 4 screen supports) this is easy to assemble. Pop the 4 arms into the stand then pop the screen on using the spring loaded securing tabs and you are away. You can adjust the height of the screen too.
Disassembly is just as easy.
It’s a nice thick screen so stays nice and flat and gives a nice picture quality. And if you are into photography you can even use it as a white background or put the screen on back to front and have a nice black background.
It comes with some ground spikes to secure it if using outside.
I recently bought a projector for our bedroom so I jumped at the chance of trying this in return for an honest review as we wanted to have outdoor movie nights with the kids in the garden in the summer.
The item comes well boxed and in its own heavy duty canvas bag. The carry handle has good stitching so it won’t break easily, and drawstring at the top. The screen itself comes in a plastic tube to protect it. The open end of the tube as a cap that sits on the end of the tube. But because of this it then causes a lip on the inside so it’s really difficult to actually remove the screen. Normally you can remove something from a tube by twisting it inside the tube to make it smaller, but because the screen has a solid bar at the top and the bottom which is just over 1 inch in width you can’t twist the screen small enough to remove it as the solid bar catches on the lip. I managed to twist off the end cap as you can see from the photos which looks like it was either glued or or using double sided tape, but it took some force to remove!
It didn’t come with instructions of how to put it together, but the metal arms had numbers on and the top ones were a slightly different shape to the bottom ones so it was quite easy to work out which went where.
The screen itself is made of really good quality material and isn’t flimsy or looks like it would tear or damage easily. The ends of the metal bars have hooks that are spring loaded. I suggest you do the top two first to make it easier. I managed to do it myself but you might need a hand as the spring clips aren’t too overly springy so you really have to push them in hard and pull the screen to sit over the hooks. Once it’s on its sturdy and looks impressive.
The back pole has a clip which can be released so you can raise and lower the height of the screen which is handy. It comes with strong sturdy metal hooks like camping pegs so if you wanted to use it outdoors in the summer in the garden you could do.
It’s quite stable once it’s up and doesn’t give them impression that it was fall over if knocked slightly. My only issue was trying to get it out the tube in the first place otherwise I would have easily have given it 5 stars.
The projector screen received in compact cardboard box. You will need to assemble it when you are ready to watch anything on it.
It’s very easy to assemble this. It’s light in weight to anyone can assemble it. It’s also easy and quick to dismantle it. Since it takes very less space you can keep it assembled and no need to dismantle it if you don’t want to. Being light makes it easy to carry. However, the package has good height so you will need to make some space and adjust this accordingly.
The height is easily adjustable. You can also move the screen around 360 degrees and tighten the screws behind to keep it still. The overall quality of the building and support sticks is sturdy and well made. The tripod base provides nice stability to the screen. Once setup it stays in the same position. In case you fancy to use this outdoor or in the backyard, three sturdy solid metal hooks are also included in package.
The screen is pure white in colour with an inch of black border. It’s rolled up and stored into a plastic cylindrical container which gives it nice protection. The screen do not get creased. The white diagonal precisely measured as 60 inches. The white screen is a thick and non see through material. The projector screen can be placed in any room easily.
The sixty or sixty five inches screen doesn’t really give you a big screen feel as nowadays it’s a very common TV size in most of the families including mine. However, If you go to the next sizes which are eighty and hundred inches, you would definitely enjoy the feel of big screen from your sofa or bed. You don’t have to shell lot of money to go for bigger size. I would definitely recommend to go for a bigger size than sticking with sixty inches.
I’m right out the the pack this is inspiring quality. Never had one of them before but I am pretty satisfied with this. It is absolutely huge and measures about 2.3 m in length. Easy to have a home cinema set up for indoors and outdoors. Now that summer is close by this will be used a lot outside. Of course the quality of the image depends on the projector itself and not so much on this screen.
So let’s talk about this screen in more detail.
Comes with a nice carry bag that keeps all together well organized and has a separate place for the screen itself inside. Everything fit in nicely and is relatively easy to get out. The screen comes inside a plastic tube and has a plastic roll in the middle as well to help you roll it on top of it easily. Now that tube it came in doesn’t have a cap which is not very good I suppose. The screen would be much more protected if it had a cap.
It is quite easy to assemble and one person can do it easily. The arms that hold the screen fits in the halls nicely and easily without problems and there is nothing else you have to do but just put them inside The holes and that’s all. The screen comes on top of the arms and each arm has at the end some sort of spring to keep the tension and to make the screen stay straight.
Height can be adjusted and the pack also includes three hooks so too anchor it if you use it outside. Seems quite sturdy and as far as I tested it the image was clear and nice. Instructions are easy to follow and dissembly is also quite easy and one person can do it.
Might be a bit expensive but for the quality of the stand and the screen I think it is worth i
Honestly, this is a surprisingly good bit of kit. It’s a decent size, moderately robust, and easy to set up.
When you unpack it, you find all of the parts neatly snugged away in a heavyweight, durable carry bag. It has a shoulder strap, which unfortunately is a bit narrow without any padding.
Inside the bag you’ll find the frame and a tube, in its own pocket, which contains the screen. Unfortunately, the screen tube is uncapped in one end, which feels a bit insecure.
The frame is incredibly easy to set up. It’s lightweight and the various parts slot together easily. The sockets and inserts have features that ensure you can only put it together correctly (known as poka yoke design). One nice feature is that the frame ends which clip into the eyelets on the screen have spring action to enable you to put it together easily, but which then tension the screen once it’s all together. The height is easily adjusted.
The screen itself seems to be high quality, with just a few spots of slightly messy cutting around the edge.
As for stability, I wouldn’t use it in even light wind. I’m inclined to get some guy ropes…
All in all, I think it’s a great bit of kit for the price (89.90 at the time of this review on Prime).
I love this projector screen…. Its easily put together and it huge.
Look at the picture of my 55inch TV next to the 100inch projector screen lol.
It huge lol.
The screen feels strong and tough and is great quality. It rolls up and pops inside a tube to keep it safe when not in use.
The stand and projector framework is easy to pop together and also feels strong and good quality.
The stand is height adjustable with a clamp that keeps the screen at the required height which feels secure when clamped in.
The whole kit is stored inside a carry bag for easy storage and moving.
I love the fact that this screen can be used outside for a great cinematic experience on a lovely summers night either camping or in the garden and it looks professional too.
Might start inviting the neighbours round for a movie night and start charging an admittance fee lol.
We have a projector which can go upto 300inch and the picture quality is very good on this screen. I like that the screen has a black border around the edges to give a guide to effective projection and compliments the cinematic effect.
This is very lightweight as well so it’s easy to carry around and set up and also take down when you’re finished without any trouble.
The screen is attached with corner hooks on the frame and the screen remains taut. There are some slight creases in the screen but this is just because it is rolled up and these effectively disappear when you’re projector is switched on. The creases also dissipate after a few hours when it’s erected.
I understand the screen is water resistant which is another plus as any marks should be easily cleaned off.
We’ve had a couple of movie nights outdoors with a cheap elasticated projector screen but had to either put hooks somewhere to hold the screen in or construct a flimsy wooden frame….. This kit will allow us to take it with us camping for some truly memorable nights under the stars watching a movie outdoors 🙂
I should explain that our camping is with electric hook up and taking our projector with us.
We’ll also be using this in our garden as well for barbie nights and parties too.
Very happy with this projector screen and stand and quality is very good.
Someone did mention about this being lightweight and blowing around in the wind outdoors.
If it’s that windy why bother trying to watch a movie outdoors anyway lol…. The screen has holes in each corner and if it being on the stand is such an issue in windy conditions then why not just put some screw cup hooks into a wall or fence and attach this without the stand?
Personally I’d give the outdoor movie experience a miss if the wind is blowing the screen over, even with the ground pegs (supplied) installed.
Superb screen and a very good stand as well.
Massive, easy to erect as it only takes a couple of minutes, with everything slotting together as it should. The actual screen is rolled into a plastic storage tube which has its own separate pocket in the carry bag which it all fits into. I manage to set it up myself by hooking one corner of the screen onto one of the upper fixing hooks, then carefully unrolled it. When fitting it to the retaining hooks there is some tension to help keep the screen flat, so the hooks have springs that you can push the hook inwards towards the support arm then attach the screen. Great picture, easy to adjust the height, then when you’re finished easy to put away. I got my wife to help remove the screen to ensure I got no creases in it when rolling back up. Has vastly improved our Sunday movie nights. Very happy.
Projector Screen with Stand from Excelimage
This product came with the following:
1 x rolled-up projection screen measuring 80in.
1 x tripod with frame holder
4 x metal frames
1 x carrier bag
It is straightforward to assemble and disassemble, and it can be done without the help of the user manual. To compare it with a similar product that I am using to conduct my training, I find its quality decent but can be improved. The tripod and frames are lightweight yet sturdy. The height of the tripod can be adjusted. While I have nothing negative to say about the projector screen as it came rolled and not folded, it has no unnecessary crease and is smooth.
The frames are attached by simply sliding them into the tripod with no locking mechanism. It has no.1 (up) and no.2 (down) printed on them that serve as a guide. It could have been better tho if the tripod had locks to keep the frames firmly secured.
The metal frame tips are flexible suitable to assist when hooking the projector screen. It could have been better if they were adjustable in length to cater to smaller projector screens.
Overall, this set is suitable for indoor and outdoor functions if it is not too windy or rainy. It is of decent quality, but I have seen better options for its asking price.
