In a nutshell:
Things I liked:
+ Not too expensive for what you get – the stand is quite sturdy too.
+ Good to be able to mount a camera in place of the phone holder (standard tripod mount) if required.
+ Multiple colour temperature options and brightness settings.
Things I didn’t like:
– Cord is a bit short.
– Not sure about how long the light itself will last. While the stand itself is very sturdy, the light is the potential weak link – would have liked it to be replaceable.
Do I recommend it?
From a functionality point of view – yes, the stand is really versatile. From a durability point of view, I can’t really comment having not had it for long enough.
worked as expected. very good quality and brightness! the “tripod” wasn’t too high for what I was looking for but the extra parts that came with it did the trick, I used the phone holder to stick the light attached to the mic, pit the support from it only goes to 40cm but I manage it, you can put a paper box behind your monitor if you need it too no bid deal
I spend all day in Webex/Zoom/Teams delivering IT training from home for corporate clients. I have a room where the lighting is okay, and have a set of LED lights that light me quite well. In an effort to provide even less light, whilst still being well lit in Webex I decided to try this light ring. It’s sat just behind my monitor and sits behind my webcam. The warm light works well for me, whilst other may prefer the cool light settings.
Overall it’s okay for my needs, and I don’t need any of the attachments for mobile devices.
i like this product as its great when I’m doing videos for my social networks as my house is very dark and switching the light on just isn’t enough , with is it lights up perfectly. great value for money.

This is a good ring light with an adjustable stand, phone holder, with basic instruction of assembly and a couple of hard plastic cable ties; that work well by twisting the ends together, I like to use them to hold the cable in place.
This desk ring light phone holder is just what I needed for my dressing table. It’s usb powered and wired with an attached controller on it. It has 3 different light modes: white, natural, and warm, that can dim. The light can be adjusted 360, but because the cable is attached litrally to the light at the bottom, it’s a great design flaw that’s annoying for me. Once I tie the cable down in place, it obviously hinders its maneuverability, so I have to losen it out of the cable tie to be able to better reposition the ring light. I would have preferred the power lead cable to have been attached to the side where the light is already attached to its frame. That way, the movement of light wouldn’t be hindered at all by the cable being tied down with the cable ties.
Pros:
1- this ring light looks professional. It is large too. It can be used for different things, such as online meetings, streaming, or just lighting your room or desk.
2- It has different modes and levels. The highest brightness level is very bright and covers your entire face and body. Also, the ring is adjustable too.
3- the phone holder is a great addition. Especially if you use your phone for quick online meetings or streaming. The phone holder is adjustable and extendable too. I put my large-size iPhone 13 pro max (with its case), which fits fine.
Cons:
1- I personally find it a bit large and not very portable. For example, I could not put it inside my backpack to use in the library. However, it depends on your preference and usage.
2- the price is a little bit expensive.
Really good ring light that’s easy to set up, easy to use and really makes a difference to your videos. My daughter uses this for her ticktock videos and she loves it. Gives a really professional look to her videos and is nice and bright without being intrusive.
For the money, it’s really good value and is also not to big, some some of the free standing ones are massive and take up a lot of space, not this. Perfect addition for any budding ticktockers.

This has been great for meeting a whilst I’ve been working from home and I’ve been able to use it for my Instagram content as well! The light is bright and helps make a difference when it comes to videos, it was a little fiddly to set up but overall happy with this!

My wife also use it when doing her makeup on the brightest setting
I really like the versatility of this lamp, the fact I can raise and lower not only the light itself, but where I mount my phone, the orientation and angle of it, “Portrait/Landscape”, which basically means I’m always able to get the light I want to when taking a “Video call”, or “On meetings”, and not only that, the way the light can be manipulated into a variety of positions, with 3 different “Light types”, warm, cold, etc, means I can light things up well to take photos/videos of items.
The construction is good too, the metalwork feels nicely done, it’s all very clean and free from any burrs, knocks, or dints, with what I personally think is a nice choice of, white paintwork. I think the white gives it a very sharp, open look, it’s not oppressive on a desk.
Now the actual light itself, is very well done, the way it rotates through 360 degrees means it’s easy to place exactly where I want it, and being able to “Dull” or “Brighten” the light, gives me control of the scene, which is great.
The “Inline control”, feels well done, each press gives a nice “Click”, and performs its function every time, I also like that the power button lights up blue so I can tell where it is in the dark.
All in all, this is a very nice addition to my desk, to help me have better control over the lightening when necessary.
After being educated by a younger family member in the art of taking selfies I saw this and thought I’d order it to try not that I’m a huge selfie taker but having members of the home that are I knew it would get some very good use. The light acts as a truly brilliant way to brighten my selfies especially as it’s 7 inches in size which I have to admit do look better. The stand is also a useful item, The light has 3 tonal colours and 10 settings so I’m able to set it to the over all look that I think will make the best picture. It’s also ideal for all aspects of using it on social media if I get to keep it that is as it’s already being appropriated by other in the home! The stand it’s screws into is weighted which I like as it’s not going to tip over when holding my phone via the clamp.

The ring light is nice and powerful, but has the advantage that it can be angled to be adjusted to point up or down. This is a great feature to have because it means the light can illuminate things you are filming from overhead, as well as being easily adjusted to the best position for online calls and streaming. The ring light has the usual brightness adjustment controls, three colour temperature settings and is powered from a USB A port. I happily had the ring light running while connected to a powerbank with no issues.
The stand has a single extendable section and a heavy base. I found the base to be stable in normal use, and the thick rubber coating on the base reduces the chance of it marking surfaces. The height adjustment works well for desktop/tabletop use and could easily be used behind a laptop or at the side of a larger desktop monitor. The stand also has a standard 1/4 in tripod thread on it, so you could attach other lighting accessories if you need to, or move a webcam with a thread to the top of the stand.
The clamp consists of two main parts. One is a phone holder so you can easily attach a mobile phone to record what you want. This has a standard 1/4 in tripod thread on it with two threaded inserts to allow you to select the optimal orientation for your device. The clamping section opens up to make installing it on the stand an easy process. The clamp also has a 1/4 in thread to attach the phone holder, but it works brilliantly holding a webcam.
In combination the ring light creates more attractive softer light, and the unit allows you to get the webcam placed higher than the top of your laptop, which creates a more attractive position to be seen from. Using the device with a phone would be great for the creation of video content, and the set easily allows the phone to be set up in either portrait or landscape mode.
Overall, this is a nifty item to have for anyone looking at getting started in content creation or wanting to look better in an online meeting.
I have to start this review with wow this is soooo bright! Much brighter than other ring lights I have.
It’s self assembly which requires you to screw it together, it’s a couple of minutes job nothing too taxing. Once assembled you can plug it in using the usb plug, it has three different light colours and then they can scale up to bright or down to dim. I have made a short video to show you these which I run through twice. As I hope you can see in the video the brightness levels are amazing, I ordered this to use for arts and crafts which I sometimes video for social media but now I’m thinking it would be perfect for my make up application!!
Fantastic light, honestly the best ring light I’ve had. Looks and feels good quality and because I can’t decide where best to use it I might just have to buy another! So that’s a definite recommendation.

I have a full size ring light at home but my apartment is very small and the full size light is cumbersome to set up for quick videos. This small ring light with stand and phone holder is perfect. It fits on my dressing table easily and is hight adjustable. It is very bright and the brightness and colour temperature is easily adjustable. It looks very flattering on video and is very easy to use. Overall this is a quality ring light that is well made and doesn’t feel cheap or childish.
I was pleasantly surprised the quality of this light the base is heavy which is perfect to keep the ring light and mobile upright, it was quick and simple to screw together and they even include some cable tidy clips so the cables are hidden behind the long part of the light, the upper ring itself is bright and has various brightness and warm white to cold white lighting. The holder for your mobile device screws onto the pole area and attaches very well without sliding and it holds your device firmly in place. This is perfect for a dressing table or make up area aswell as for TikTok’s ect.
