I’ve been using my new Saphe Drive Pro for a week now. It was very quick and simple to set up and install. Just install the Saphe Link App on my phone, and put the device itself on my dashboard.
The battery life if exceptional, and uses a UCB C connector to charge (contrary to many reviews, so I think this must have changed). I have only charged once, to top it up to 100% and after a weeks use its only dropped to 99%.
Fixed and Average speed cameras are accurately alerted. I don’t expect it to know the whereabouts of mobile cameras, because they are mobile. I have no idea why some people have that expectation.
Overall I’m very pleased and consider it a bargain for reassurance that I’m not inadvertently speeding when I approach a camera.
Hint: In the app, enable ‘Smart Alarm’ so that you only get alerted when you are over the limit, rather than for every camera regardless of speed.

Cons- For the price, they could have included the charging cable.
It is a constant reminder of the speed limits on UK roads, it bleeps to remind you but it’s not persistent, it also claims to alert you to all types of traffic cameras but I haven’t gone past any cameras yet so the jury is still out on that, but apart from that it connects automatically to my iPhone via Bluetooth and it’s got a map function which is very useful.
In fact, I gave it 4 stars because an element like the charging cable is not part of the product. The device itself is very useful and indeed was what I needed for security.
