I’ve tried many car fresheners over the years, but Scent By 7’s Exotic Escape truly stands out from the rest. Love this freshener! The wooden cap looks classy, and the scent is just perfect. Makes my car smell amazing!!
I have had this air freshener up in my car since I got it about a month ago and there is still half of the liquid actually left, it smells amazing and it really does give off a strong scent.
With the top being wood the liquid soaks into it and allows the scent to come out over time, I would probably say I tip it and soak it in the wood maybe 2 or 3 times a week just to get it smelling nice.
It’s all fully adjustable with the string which I tie around my rear view mirror, even the string that’s in it is a lovely colour and really nice. It doesn’t get dirty or discoloured from the sunlight which is a positive too.
It really does smell so amazing and just like flowerbomb, such a lovely scent.

I was a bit sceptical when my wife suggested this air freshener for our car. On the other hand, I was a bit fed up with the traditional scents, so I decided to give it a go. I can say this one is definitely different and very pleasant.
This is nicely presented in a gift box. The product is in a small glass bottle that looks like a perfume bottle. You unscrew the cap and then turn it upside down. The fragrance is very perfume like, which I think smells lovely.
I’m not sure about the purple cord, I love purple, but this looks like a random purple shoelace has been used. I would prefer it to have a more neutral colour.
At the current price of 8.99, this is good value for money for a luxury car air freshner. It is designed to be hung in the car but can also be used to hang up in cupboards, wardrobes etc.
This is a good buy and has so far lasted for several weeks and still smells strong.

Decided to give this a go after being sick of those tree fresheners that are just everywhere!
This is presented nicely in a little box and the scent itself is held within a little glass bottle so it looks like a literal bottle of perfume. Which is good, because that’s what this smells like! It’s not like your usual car freshener smell. It smells like a very pleasant perfume and I wouldn’t object to my wife wearing this on a night out!
Overall, I’m happy with the car freshener. It’s more luxurious than your usual freshener but that’s because the smell is much nicer.
This is a beautiful design and comes with the box, smell nice and it gives your car freshener air, easy to use and to hang it, good idea for gift too, so far so good. Happy with it.

Easy instructions, and although I’m not keen on hanging things from my car mirror, you. An tie it as short as you want which helps.
Not sure about the purple cord as I feel black or grey would be more inkeeping but not a biggie.

I haven’t had a car smelly in a while and when I got this one I wasn’t expecting a lot to be honest but it pleasantly surprised me. The air freshener I would generally get normally only last about a week or two but this one has done well so far and don’t think it’s even got to half way yet. The smell is nice and refreshing, sweet but it’s not overpowering and I feel it’s just the right amount for me. I like that once the smell starts to dissipate all I need to do is turn the bottle upside down again for it to reactivate the scent.

Very easy to prime the bottle – just remove the plastic inner cap – invert a couple of times and the scent is released.
Gorgeous scent which is subtle but effective. I have 2 of these air fresheners and this is my favourite scent of the 2.

The wicking and diffusion approach of this bottle is simple, but surprisingly effective. Once you’ve taken the inner plastic cap off and turned it upside down for a few seconds, the wooden cap gets damp, and the scent starts gently escaping. It’s a nicely recyclable and/or reusable approach, and the level of scent it gives is just right for a car, or a very small room.
The ‘Tropical Storm’ scent is very much like a perfume, and I won’t be surprised if people who sit in my car confuse the scent for a perfume somebody’s wearing. It’s light, quite floral, and certainly fresh, with just a hint of white wine about it. Since it’s called ‘Tropical Storm’, at a stretch I can picture that petrichor scent of rain after a dry spell, but I’d certainly put the wine comparison above that one when trying to describe the scent. While it’s not an especially distinctive scent, it’s a pleasant one, and it works well in a car- especially as it’s not a million miles away from new-car-smell.
The product photo shows a bottle with a red lace at the top, but the bottle I received, despite being the right scent, has a pale green lace instead. That’s slightly less classy and makes it more obviously a shoelace, but the pale colour means it doesn’t look so prominent if hanging from the rear view mirror (though that’s not where I’ve decided to put ours anyway). If I were bothered about the shoelace colour would be easy to replace, and putting in a different hanging system would be very easy so long as it involved some length of thread that was no thicker than a shoelace.
So far the evaporation rate seems fine, and forty-five days seems like a reasonable estimate for how long it’ll last. Once this bottle is empty I’ll be able to refill it with a different scent, possibly an essential oil or maybe even using actual perfume, and go round with it again- so while at eight quid, six weeks of scent might not seem that fantastic, in the long term I think it’ll work out better than some of the other car fragrancers that you have to throw away once they’re spent. So for me that’s what makes this little bottle a particularly good idea.
A nice simple air freshener has a nice soft scent to it and isn’t too overpowering when you enter the car for the first time. The wooden aesthetic is a nice touch to it and gives it a cool look especially when having it in clear view it diffuses the scent well and smells great.
Most of the card airfreshners I have previously used tend to stop smelling after a while so was really pleased to try these pendant ones.
This scent smells amazing – not too overpowering but just that perfect freshness to it. I like the fact you can smell this soon as you open the car as sometimes they tend to take a while for the scent to come through unlike this.

Easy to use and install in the car. Only issue is that you have to tip it upside down to get the scent initially which fills the lid and seeps through to the outside so it’s all over your fingers. Definitely not good to have around young kids. Once set up and in the car it’s great.
This is a nice fragrance. You do have to remember to tip it slightly Sotherton wooden top can absorb the oil. Don’t do it for too long as it will drip through where the string is.
Honestly this smells amazing, long lasting, and there a lot in the bottle, the wood part gets wet so quickly and the smell comes out quickly. I bought a couple and the top won’t let the smell out, and the smell don’t last long and they cost more.
