Very well-designed, strong and well-made, this steering wheel/seat belt lock from Rinwywey is probably one of the best car security accessories investments you can make. For not very much money you get peace of mind and assurance that your car is much less likely to be stolen. Okay, nothing is 100% guaranteed to stop determined criminals but this simple device will make life very difficult for would-be thieves and they are much more likely to leave your car alone. Very strong indeed, the flexible toughened steel cable wraps around the steering wheel and locks securely into the driver’s side seat belt socket, effectively immobilising the vehicle, as it would be impossible to drive with this attached and extremely difficult, I’d say practically impossible, to remove it without the key. The best thing about it is that it is so simple, quick and easy; it literally takes just seconds to securely attach and is just as quick and easy to remove if you have the key. It is also a great visual deterrent too. I actually ordered a black one as shown on the site but what was delivered was red, as it turns out, I prefer red, so not a problem for me.
I reckon this is an essential piece of kit for anyone who values their car.
This was ordered to add a little bit more security to leaving my car parked while we are away. It very easily loops through the steering wheel and locks in to the seatbelt fastener, you then use the key to unlock it so you can press the seatbelt release and remove it – quick and simple for an added deterrent.
