With so many car thefts occurring these days I thought what did I have to lose in purchasing the steering wheel lock. I’m very pleased with it. It can be applied and removed in seconds so there is no excuse not to use it as a layer security It was a lot cheaper than many others advertised.
Very handy to keep in the boot. I put it on whenever I leave my car somewhere overnight that’s not in my view. It will deter thieves and stop them to some degree from turning the wheel fully.
The wire on it is the same as a bike lock, it’s fairly thick, and can’t be cut through easily. It also has some fabric covering the cable, I suppose it stops the cable rubbing against the steering wheel.
You loop it through your steering wheel and back on itself to create a loop, then it plugs into your seatbelt socket just like your actual seatbelt and covers it completely so the button can’t be pressed to release it. If someone was to move the wheel it would tug at the seatbelt, it has minor movement but you wouldn’t be able to do full turns or use the car comfortably. I probably wouldn’t suggest this for very expensive cars as I do feel the car could still be used to some degree with this.
You get three keys for unlocking it. I was concerned at first as the plastic parts seem a little cheap and locking it into my seatbelt felt risky, but it comes off every time. The key seems to make something stick out pressing the seat belt release button. After using it a few times it feels safe to use and all keys work on it, adds that slight peace of mind to leaving your car alone overnight and is very quick and easy to throw on.

I’ve seen more expensive ones on the market that lock the entire steering wheel but still feel this cheaper one is as good a deterrent. It feels strong and durable – anyone who still tries to steal your car will definitely struggle.
Will be especially great if you’re parking for a long time in areas you’re unfamiliar with or, like me, areas that have a history of car thefts from amateur opportunists. Would recommend!
As far as steering wheel locks, this one is pretty unique, it’s not the best one i’ve seen, but as a deterrent it works well.
It’s quick and easy to use, just wrap it around the steering wheel and lock it in the seat belt, to remove just unlock and remove it.
It’s not very thick or heavy, a bolt cutter could probably cut this in just a couple of minutes, but like i said, it’s a deterrent, as it would be much easier to just not deal with it at all and move on to an easier target.
The lock and keys it comes with are not a standard bolt lock, so it’s not so easily picked, you would need a dimple lock pick and the skill to do it, not very common and i doubt most people have the ability.
With that said, i would rate this lock a solid 6/10 i didn’t detect any easy ways to bypass it and vulnerabilities that would make it completely useless, i’m sure it can take a beating and will work as designed.
This steering wheel lock is amazing, is very easy to use it and is better than the other that you put across the steering wheel , this it was just perfect for my car , I highly recommend it, valuable for the price.
I like the simple execution of this product. It is easy to store, easy to use and will suit the majority of vehicles.
Perhaps the only downside might be that the plastic coated cable could be cut with cutters, but then again most products at this end of the price spectrum are hardly foolproof either.
I believe this is a good product that will certainly deter the more casual thief, and for that alone I feel it is worth the asking price.

This is such a neat, clever idea – a visible and effective deterrent as it locks the steering wheel, as most anti theft locks do. Any determined thief will always find a way, even if it involves bolt cutters, but they’ll see this and move on. The lovely simplicity of this is the way it just clicks into the seat belt mechanism – so it takes mere seconds to fit, and it’s small enough to just pop in the glove compartment. My husband has previously used one of those big disk things, which covers the steering wheel and is so big it had to be stored in the boot. This is such a significant improvement, he’s a total fan now. Excellent value too, strong and sturdy, keep the key in your key ring and job done.
Double lock your car.
The buckle locks the steering wheel by inserting the seat buckle. The shell of the lock is made of hard plastic, and the lock and braided rope are made of metal.
Very suitable for some special situations. It is not an electronic lock, when you park and pack the boots, lock your steering wheel in an unfamiliar environment, and upgrade your car security.
I find it very easy to use. The video I uploaded was not bright enough, but when you receive the product you will know how to use it.

The lock fits nicely and works as intended. However, I have to confess that it does not feel solid, as its plastics are not very thick, and a decent bold cutter could definitely cut the cord; However, I believe this product is used in conjunction with other security devices like alarms, tracker, immobilizer, would definitely make it more difficult for thieves to take your car. They would probably think twice and choose an easier target unless they are really determined to steal your vehicle
This lock might not be the strongest and safest lock on the market, but it certainly adds some level of protection, and given the price it’s being sold; I think it offers a good value for money.

We’ve had big over the steering wheel locks and they often damage the steering wheel by leaving dents in the foam or when it’s hot getting stuck to the foam and damaging it. This lock is very different – it’s a loop of strong steel covered in a cloth protector. The loop secures around the steering wheel and clicks into the seat belt lock as a seat belt would. The end of the lock completely covers the seat belt lock and has to be released by means of a key. Simple. A bit faffy the first time you use it but you’ll quickly develop a knack for how it fits on your particular steering wheel then it’s simplicity itself. The image on the box shows the cloth area over the steering wheel, we’ve fitted it with the loop around the steering wheel – each to their own and whatever is easiest for the user I suppose, but having the cloth around the steering wheel would give it added protection.
I like that it has fluorescent stripes at the end of the cloth covering – it’s an obvious visual deterrent. I also like that it’s light and easy to fit, taking up very little room when not in use (we have it under the driver seat). An ideal gift for any motorist, we’ll certainly be using it.
At 15.99 (as at 5 June 2023) I think it’s excellent value for money. Would recommend.
This steering lock is so simple yet effectively clever I’ve not come across this type before but I’ve found it so simple to lock into place and then to undo but the element of stopping thieves from stealing the car so quickly where a couple more seconds can make a huge difference. I also love that this comes with 3 keys so one on my key ring, one on the other halves keys and one spare just incase we lose one along the way. I opted for the black over the yellow as I don’t want it to look like I’ve got a steering lock on from a distance I like things a bit more subtle. Based on this item, how it works and the price at the time of ordering I think it’s excellent value.
