I have a roll to hand whenever I’m doing my DIY work eight in the house of garage.
Great for wiping up oil and grease, also paint etc. A versatile product that should be in every garage.
I find kitchen roll more and more expensive, use these at work so thought I’d try them at home, literally use it for all needs, cleaning, picking up spillages and wiping surfaces down!
I don’t usually use paper towels but I bought this blue roll as we have just rescued 2 strays who have minimal house training skills.
I know there can be a lot of variation in the quality of this type of product (my husband works for a company who sell blue roll) so I knew I had to shop around. Determined to find something better than we previously used, I chose this. The quality is great, it is strong and doesn’t fall apart as soon as it gets wet. There is also a good amount in each roll making it really good value for money and adding in the convenience of next day delivery, I will be purchasing again.
As a BUDGET catering item, its main job is to mop up messes and then get thrown away – so I think paying 1p for 3 sheets (and that’s the DELIVERED price including VAT remember), is not only a bargain, its the sensible decision!
I buy it for our city centre bar, mainly for cleaning up spills, buffing glassware, mirrors and windows.
Why would I want to pay more than I have to for such a functional item. OK, it may occasionally require an extra sheet or two when tackling BIGGER spills, but the majority of jobs only need 1-2 sheets, so when you do need to use a few more sheets on a bigger spill, you’re talking about less than a 1p to do that.
When I think about the majority of everyday jobs I use blue roll for, like buffing glasses or cleaning windows, I’d still NEED to use 1 or 2 sheets for a job like that, regardless of the sheets coming from an expensive or a budget roll.
I’d rather pay 1p for 3 sheets of a budget roll to use for all my every day jobs, rather than 1p or 2p PER SHEET of a more expensive roll, purchased on the off chance of having the occasional messier spill!
I’ve been buying these rolls for a few months now and would recommend them to any business needing blue centrefeed rolls as part of their cleaning routine. I could pay extra at Nisbets, CS4U or FineCal, but these rolls work well for us, and for the job intended
They were the cheapest so obviously there are better ones out there, but for light home use they are fine. Sadly delivery was 5 days late despite Evri reporting an attempted delivery, why do people use Evri, I know they are the cheapest but they must cost business in the long run.
Arrived quickly and well packed. I’m not using the centre feed as the sheets are perforated and easy to tear off resulting in no waste. Currently, I have a roll standing on my desk and use this product for wiping my art brushes and it is fine. When wiping with the TPZ roll the short recycled fibre in the sheet absorbs what I want it to, but doesn’t spread the moisture throughout the whole sheet, enabling me to continue using the same sheet until I have wetted it all. I also have a roll in my shed and another in my garage. Some say it is single ply, but its not. No reason to do so otherwise, but when I read reviews that said the rolls are single ply not two ply as stated in the product description, I decided to check. The plies are difficult to separate, but it is definitely two ply. I guess if you want to spend more money you can probably buy better product or, if you want to spend less, you might get inferior product, but for what I will use the TPZ product for, I am quite happy.
I did make one mistake with this product. On a Whats Ap video call with my son, I held up a roll and showed him what I had bought. He asked me to take a roll for him when I next visit, but I know I will take him two.
