Okay, not exactly a ‘life saver’, but definitely a laptop saver as I was ready to throw it out of the window before I got this. A really annoying problem trying to wirelessly connect to the internet to download the driver that would allow me to wirelessly connect to the internet. Thank goodness for this cable, I could connect the laptop to the router and get on line that way. With all our modern technology being plug and play and automatically wireless it’s easy to forget that just a few years ago this wasn’t the norm. I’m sure there are a lot of other uses for this cable so I’m hanging onto it, but it did the trick for me.
I was having such struggles with my wifi on my computer, an ethernet cable was the way to go!

My internet browser is now like lightning, my gosh it’s so fast!
Downloads, switching tabs on my browser, starting my browser, anything to do with my wifi, the internet, it is all so fast in comparison to my wifi dongle that was bluetooth before.
This cable is ever so well made, it’s sturdy, durable, ever such good quality.. It’s a flat cable too making placing it to the wall for a neater look a breeze..
It plugs in neatly, not loose at all and works like a dream, I can’t fault it at all, it’s going strong!

I dont need a cat 7 cable. This cat 6 Ethernet cable is plenty fast for my purposes, and for most peoples purposes. In my case, I am adding a second router in a different part of the house. I also wanted white and flat as that gave me the option of running either under carpet and across (or under) white skirting boards. A plumper round cable would struggle to fit under some of my skirting boards and would be obtrusive should I need to go under and around a door and frame.
This cable fits all my needs – it’s a plain white flat cable that is also lengthy, measures 10m long.
This cable uses 32AWG pure copper conductors. 4 shielded twisted pairs wrapped in a plastic coating and aluminum foil. Flexible flat PVC jacket which is flexible. The ugreen branded RJ45 connectors each uses gold plated contacts. Not to be sniffed at but is actually feels well made.
Connections are precise fitting, meaning that there is no slipping and, most importantly, it works with impressive speed. Running a speed test, I continue to achieve a super fast 500mb download speed and an also super fast 500mb upload speed. None of this is surprising though. What is very welcome and indeed the reason for introducing this cable is that I am now receiving these speeds in parts of the house that were struggling beforehand. This demonstrates that both cable and second router are having exactly the benefits I sought !!
It’s worth noting that this cable is rated to handle up to 240MHz bandwidth and 1,000Mbps speeds.

Easy to stuff between a carpet and wall/fireplace, under doors and behind cupboards for neat installations. Great for connecting your vdsl modem/router/firewall to the FTTP termination point if you don’t want it near an outside wall and can’t easily hide traditional round cable.
Thin, light and extremely well made. I was not expecting this quality and the speed of these cables are frightening. I tried many cat cables before but none were able to give me consistent speeds for online gaming. I thought my fibre provider was lying about the speed of my connection. I changed my cat cable that was supplied with my modem with this one and the am now getting the stated 1gig connection. My connection rarely drops below 990mbs. Good build quality and lighting speeds, what more could you ask for from a Cat cable.

Decided to upgrade to CAT6, as I was using 16 year old CAT5e cables.
My wired devices work smoothly (I switch them out), the cable is nice and thin, and is easy to run along skirting boards. I imagine it can be run under the floor, but I don’t completely trust the cable to take any heavy footing over time, due to wire damage.
Overall, I recommend the cable, and am very happy.
